Bought for love by Fiona Davenport.
This sexy billionaire is ready to become a husband, even if he has to buy his bride. Miles Deveraux has more money than one man needs, but his shady past continues to cause problems. When he decides it’s time to get married, using a discreet matchmaker to find him a wife seems the best choice...until he meets the perfect candidate on his own. Life in the big city hasn’t gone the way Emma James expected. Faced with the prospect of losing her home, Miles’ offer of marriage saves her. But once the ring is on her finger, Miles wants more.
This was a fantastic read with great characters. Loved miles and Emma. Loved how Emma put Patrick in his place. Cant wait to read next part. 5*.

This is the second book in this match making series and I really enjoyed it from start to finish. This book is about Miles and Emma. Miles is such a sweetheart with a bit of a shady past and he is just looking for someone to love and for someone to love him. He is tired of people always judging him for his past mistakes. Emma came to New York against her parents wishes and she has had a really hard time of it. She is a strong woman and she refuses to give up and go home. Miles first sees Emma at a diner where she is a waitress. From the moment they meet the chemistry is off the charts. Miles calls the Julia the owner of Luxe Connections informs her that her search is over and he has found the woman he wants to marry. All Julia has to do is convince Emma to take a chance on Miles. I do not want to say anymore about the book because I do not want to spoil it for you. If you are looking for a fast read that will make you laugh and not want to move until you are done the book. This book is for you. It is a great story with great characters. I am now anxiously waiting the next book in this series. Thanks Net Galley. I voluntarily reviewed this book in exchange for an honest review.

Fast and sexy read with all the alpha maleness you want! It follows a previous character you might know from Bought for Marriage. Convenience relationship that to turns to true love is one of my favorite tropes this was really well done. Only problem I had is I wished it was a bit longer so the plot didn't seem so rushed.

I do like this book and want to read the next one but I do have a hard time believing the quickness of their love and marriage. It was a cute romance though.

The magic is back! I didn't love book 1 of this series, but this one was a delight.

Miles Deveraux is a VERY rich programming genius and philanthropist. He's also got a criminal record, but that's another story. He's decided that he can't deal with the dating game, as he never knows if women are only around for his money, or for him. So, he decides to hire an exclusive matchmaking service, that his friend Sullivan (the hero from book 1) recommended. But, just after he's given a hefty deposit, and told the owner exactly what he's looking for, he finds his future wife on his own. She's a waitress in the dive diner he stops at for lunch after leaving the matchmaker's office. He knows she's the one, so he calls the matchmaker, and wants her to convince his girl to marry him.

Emma James is from small-town North Dakota, and she's been having a hard time making it in big, bad NYC. Her family were all totally against her moving to the city, and she has to prove to them she made the right choice, but she's about to lose her apartment, and she doesn't know what to do. Then, this beautiful woman who owns a matchmaking service tracks her down specifically, with an offer she can't refuse. She never thought she'd see that sexy ginger in the bespoke suit again after he left the diner, but she can't say no when she finds out he wants to marry her. It'll solve all her problems, but maybe create some new ones?

Emma and Miles had amazing chemistry from the first and I loved watching them fall in love. They really were a perfect match, and it was the sweetest thing to see. But, this book definitely brought the steam too! Their sexy times were fun and plentiful, but they felt organic since the characters were truly in the honeymoon phase of their relationship. They also really dug deep and got to know each other in all the important ways though!

There weren't a lot of side characters, as it was a shorter novella, so was strongly focused on the main couple, which I liked. I was worried that the lack of communication about each other's pasts was going to be a HUGE issue between Emma and Miles, but luckily, they were willing to really listen to each other and come to terms, like adults, which was refreshing.

I really enjoyed this story, and I'm looking forward to book 3!

This book is outside my usual romance reading, but it looked interesting. First things first, it was much shorter than I expected. It ended up being mostly romance/sex with a little bit of plot throne in. While that isn't always bad, this one wasn't done spectacularly. That said, for someone looking for a quick, fun read it'll be perfect.

Bought For Love, is a book that I was able to finish in an afternoon. It is a fast paced love story that I really enjoyed.

This was a sweet and hot story about Miles who is very rich but who wants a family and a wife. He asks a matchmaker to make him a match. Then he goes for lunch after his meeting and meets Emma. He then decides she is his wife to be and he asks the matchmaker to make it happen.

Emma is very poor, a former farm girl living in NYC and who is about to be homeless when she meets Miles. She is just as atrracted to him and so she agrees to marry him. But Miles has a dark past and so he only wants her to get to know him after they are married This is their love story which starts very backward but was pretty great.

It is short but its a good story and I really enjoyed the writing and the characters.

Miles Deveraux is tired of dating women the upper crust society thinks he should. They are shallow and will never accept his criminal background. After hearing about his friends success with an elite matchmaking firm, he takes the plunge and makes an unusual request. He doesn't want just a wife, he wants a woman he can fall in love with.

I really enjoy the contract marriage trope and this one was a bit sweeter with a twist. I love that the hero actually wanted love, not just some woman to stand by his side. Emma was such a sweet, down to earth woman who is struggling to get by. This explains why she is willing to consider a contract marriage. When she finds out the man she is to marry is someone she has met before, she knows she is making the right decision.

Fiona Davenport is known for their overly, intense alpha heroes who find that one woman who make them go all caveman and I love it! This was a short, very sweet and intense insta-love story.

Ready to settle down and start his own family, Miles sets a contract with a matchmaker to find himself the perfect bride. After the meeting, while out to eat, Miles meet Emma, who is the waitress serving him. Instant L-O-V-E develops and Miles is willing to do everything in his power to to make Emma his. After some financial woes, the lead heroine is appoard by Linda, the woman in charge of finding the multi-billionaire the ideal woman making her an offer the down-in-dumps woman can't refused.

From the get-go I had already knew this was going to be the typical billionaire romance that falls into the instant love category. I was left unimpressed by the characters, the overused and cringe-worthy plot. Wish I could offer some good qualities about the series but there was little to none. It's nothing more than a quick and easy read.

Sweet fluff story!
Miles is a billionaire with a secret. Emma is a struggling woman trying to make it in New York City after leaving her small home town. Miles falls instantly in lust with Emma when he sees her at the diner he goes to for lunch and decides she will be his. Having only one week to find a new apartment, Emma is a bit down on her luck when a woman comes to her with a marriage deal. She doesn't want to do it till she finds out she has met the man before - and then she sees his picture....
Yep, its Miles.

This book can be read on its own.
