This book was truly phenomenal. Definitely one of the best books I have read so far this year. The plot was excellent, the characters were driven and well-written, the scenery and descriptions were exceptional...However, I did have to take off half of a star. I really think that this book would be so much better without the sex scenes. I think the sex scenes took the magnificence away from this book.

This is one beautifully written book and I loved reading every word. Towards the end, Ms. Dover had me crying, so I know it touched my emotions in a good way. It was easy to visualize what was happening and I really felt a part of the story. This was my first book to read by this author, but it is definitely not going to be my last. I received an ARC of this book and I am freely giving my truthful and honest review of it.

What really starts the story is the fact that Aubrey gets a call from her doctor who eventually tells her that she is suffering from a fatal blood cancer, but a short time later the doctor finds out that due to a filing error that he actually gave Aubrey the wrong results. It makes one wonder what they would do in that situation (at least it made me wonder). Aubrey realizes that this is her wake up call and that she doesn't want to die with a lot of regrets, the biggest one being that of not being with the man she loves. So she starts on a bucket list and fulfilling the items on said list.

Fate, finally nudges her enough that she returns to her hometown with the idea of just "checking on" her former love, but not actually talking to him incase he has moved on with or without someone else. The story of Aubrey and Cole pulled me in and didn't let me go not even with the last words on the last page. I am definitely adding this book to my permanent library to be revisited again and again.

Aubrey and Cole have a second chance at happiness when she finally returns home after 10 years away. She left him one month before their wedding to pursue her Hollywood dream of directing. She has made a success of herself professionally, however, a life changing event causes her to reflect on her personal life. She then makes a bucket list of places and things she wants to experience and sets about finding herself. When she winds up back in her hometown she knows she has to apologize to Cole for her leaving him behind. Cole, understandably, isn't exactly thrilled to see her at first. I thought his reaction was understandable and both of them had some guilt over not coming to see the other in the last 10 years. I did feel that Aubrey's mother played a big role in her decision and that her mother was projecting some of her wishes onto her daughter. It was interesting how L.P. Dover portrayed these 2 and told their story. It wasn't unrealistic and I found myself rooting for them. Overall a good read and in keeping with the other L.P. Dover books that I have read.
I received an ARC from NetGalley for my honest review.

This was a great book about second chances...these characters knew what they wanted and went for it all in, there was no angst or drama because they had great communication. It was refreshing to read a book where the characters had it together and knew that communication was key to their relationship the second time around.

We also got a background story with Bennett and Emilia, and again their wasn’t any drama or angst. Those two followed by Cole and Aubrey’s philosophy and communicated.
If you are looking for a fast read that is drama free but still sappy and romantic then this is the book for you.

This is a second chance romance that will bring you on a self discovery journey. Aubrey gets an eye opening altering event that will leave her second guessing all her accomplishments. Now on the path to self discovery she reconnects with her love, Cole. Now years later their path collides.

It was an entertaining story but i didn’t really connect with the characters. The storyline was good but i need connections with the characters. It might just have been me. It’s still an interesting and captivating journey.

Standalone told in a dual POV with an HEA.

This was a second-chance, heartwarming read -- a good reminder that living life in the present can bring happiness and joy. I would have given this a higher rating if there would have been a bit more struggle to get to their HEA. The book starts out with a bang but then sort of fizzles out. There is absolutely no angst or anxiety in the plot--everything seems to fall into place which is actually refreshing! Ashamed to say that I like a little bit of conflict! That being said, it was an entertaining and enjoyable 3.5 star read. I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC for NetGalley.

Cole Haywood is FIRE! Not only is he a Fireman, but this man could light up any woman’s world. I was mesmerized and I didn’t realize how much I missed finding new book boyfriends ;)

Love, Again was the perfect book to get me back into reading romance. I was in a rut with romance novels for a bit just finding them all the same, but Aubrey and Cole dug me out. I loved their personalities. Aubrey was the perfect combination of sweet and funny. My most favorite aspect of her though was how she never let her fame get to her head, she was so down to earth!

Cole had the total rugged and stubborn cowboy thing going on and I loved it. The secondary characters in Love, Again shined just as bright and I found myself bonding with majority of the characters which is always a good thing.

Heartwarming, emotional and fun, those are the words I would use to describe Love, Again and I’m wondering why I have not read a book by Dover before because she writes everything I need in a romance. I know I will be reading more from her from now on!

If you are a fan of second chance romances like I am then don’t hesitate to pick this one up because I guarantee you will love it! Plus it has cowboys and firefighter’s in it and I really don’t know what could be better than that! Defiantly give it a shot my romance lover’s! :)

Emotional, second chances and need to take them. People who should have been together from the start but also needed time to go by so they could accept everything about each other. Lovely

This is another great heartwarming story of roads not taken and second chances. Aubrey and Cole's story had my feelings all over the place. I have read a few of Mrs. Dover's books, and she never fails to deliver several emotional moments. She has a way of making me feel whichever emotion the characters are going through.

Leaving her small-town life behind for the bright lights of Hollywood also meant leaving behind the love her life. Aubrey Reynolds seems to have it all except the one thing she really wants, love and not just any love but the one she had with Cole Haywood. A near death experience convinces her that maybe she should return to her home town and face the man she left behind for some closure.
When Aubrey Reynolds left him behind to pursue her dreams, Cole was crushed but he knew she needed to spread her wings. No woman has ever come close to making him feel what Audrey did. When she returns home, Cole knows it’s only for a short time but he’s determined to make the best of the time they have together.

This was a pretty quick and cute read. There were times where the consistency was off….at times thing happened really fast and then at times they moved kind of slow; but I enjoyed. I liked the chemistry between the characters and I loved the supporting characters, especially Aubrey’s best friend Emilia and Cole’s brother, Bennett. I have to be honest and say that the blooming relationship between Emila and Bennett was a bit more intriguing and I’d love to see or read about their back story.

Second chance at love is never easy but love is always worth it. I liked the storyline/flow of this book and the both point of views from the male & female characters. This book was a beautiful read from beginning to finish.
Now about the book. Small town girl who left everything behind to pursue her dreams of being a Hollywood director. She made it big and thought she had everything she wanted until her doctor tells her might be dying when a routine blood test comes back with a false positive. Now she has a chance to do and see all the things she has wanted to do. Her real mission is to go back to her small town to make amends to the only person she ever loved and left behind.
Cole Haywood who now is a small-town fireman and still broken hearted when she left him now she is back. He still loves her and never really moved on. Can they find their HEA together?

This is the first time I have read this author's book. The premise of the book, is a very successful producer/director gets a diagnosis that is devastating. She believes her life is going to die, within weeks. Once the doctor realizes he gave her the wrong diagnosis, she decides to that a needed vacation. She creates her own bucket list and then adds to it as she tries different adventures.

But there is one thing on her bucket list that she is scared of doing. Going back to her home town, and visiting her ex-finance to get closure. She has it built up in her mind, that he has moved on and has wife, kids and family.

Lucky for her he doesn't. He is still hung up on her and so is she. From there they discover their feelings for each other and start hanging out with each other. He is a fire fighter and is about to be promoted to Chief. So there is no way he can leave his home town, but he will for her.

This was a very quick read for me. I think they hooked up to quickly getting back together, but when you still love someone and everything falls into place. It just feels right. I like how they went on her bucket list together, and rediscovered each other. How they still can now what each person is thinking. There was a little drama towards the end of the book. But nothing that had me on the edge of my seat. If you are looking for a feel good book to read this one is it.

A warm story of a second chance at love. Aubrey, a successful movie director has been told she has an incurable disease. Although a misdiagnosis, Aubrey decides to put her directing on hold and pursue all of the things she has wanted to do. This includes returning to her Oklahoma home and apologize to Cole, the man she left to pursue her directing career.

I absolutely couldn't get enough of this book. Aubrey and Cole were the perfect example of a good love story gone wrong for 10 years over miscommunication and fears.

However, even after she is informed of a mistake she still sets out on a journey to live the life she always wanted and to find the one man that never left her heart. Aubrey Reynolds is a successful, wealthy director. She made it.
But when a routing blood test comes back with news of a rare plasma disease that affects her auto immune system, scares her silly. When the test comes back false positive, she needs to reassess her life. First, she goes on her bucket list, Then, finally back home. To the boy she left behind.

Cole Hayward was po'd and resigned when she left. He didn't want to hold her back from achieving her dreams. His dreams were simpler. His job as a fireman, staying in his hometown, wife and kids. With Aubrey.
Will he get his chance all these years later?
Recommend.

A second chance romance story with the angst and drama that will keep you intrigued with turn of the page. Aubrey and Cole were high school sweethearts on their way to getting married when she leaves him high and dry for her dream in Hollywood. Aubrey is living her dream until one day there is a mishap with her blood test and she is going to live after all. That cause her to make a list of all the things she has always wanted to do. While at one of her many adventures she comes up with the idea of going back home to visit because she is so close, she could taste it. Her mind is filled with so many doubts because home is where Cole is and she fears the thought of facing him. What she doesn’t realize is that everyone has missed her except Cole is still angry and in love with her. When they set their eyes on one another after all those years there is just an electric charge in the air. Even with all the anger in Cole’s eyes and the sadness in Aubrey their love for one another shines through. From that day forward they try to move on from the past and find a future within each other. Aubrey took this much needed vacation to find where she truly belonged and it is an amazing journey to read about. I love Cole because even though he was mad, there was still an intense love he had for her. There was no drama and I loved that there was a second chance that I could get behind. Second chance romances really get the tears flowing and the laughter bellowing out. Aubrey and Cole give you all the elements of a beautiful romance. The other members in the book really give you something to laugh about and love. “Love, Again” tells a story that sometimes we need to leave to find who we are and that one day we should come back or take that person on that journey with us. Everyone doesn’t get a second chance and that is what Aubrey thought until she received her chance.

Well I absolutely loved this book. To me, a story with just enough drama to make it interesting but not annoying is perfect and that is what this book was!! Aubrey, Cole, Emilia, Bennett.....all good people inside and out. This book just flowed and but went too quickly...I hope we get to see what happens in Emilia and Bennett’s life!!!

I had a really hard time reading this. This was my 1st time reading a book by this author so I didn't know what to expect. I loved the characters, Aubrey and Cole but I feel like the story was kind of all over the place and it was rushed in certain parts.
