4.5 stars - This may be my favorite romance by L.P. Dover. Because 1. I love second chance romances. 2. I liked both the main characters. 3. It has a lot of heart. I loved it!

I received an ARC of this book, from the publisher, via NetGalley, in exchange for a fair and honest review.

I really enjoyed this book! It was a wonderfully sweet story and I hated to see it come to an end. I thought it was awesome that she added in PennedCon. In all fairness, I have been a longtime fan of this author and Love, Again just reminded me of why. LP Dover is still my first love, she doesn't need a second chance, though I am so glad Aubrey got hers.

Aubrey & Cole's story is all about second chances. They were lifelong friends who became high school sweethearts. Aubrey chose to run off to Hollywood to pursue her dreams after she lost her parents. Aubrey gets a diagnosis where she is told she doesn't have long to live. Aubrey decides from that point to to create a bucket list because she got to busy working instead of living. I loved the tie in of authors that I have met at Penned Con. Now I just need to get to St. Louis and now I need to make a trip over to The Fountain on Locust. Thank you for wrapping up this story the way that you did. I am one for a happy ever after ending.

Cole is pretty much the epitome of perfection. Aubrey has a lot of making up to do. Together, their story is something of beauty. A second-chance they both needed, and more!

L.P. Dover delivered not JUST another romance book, but an epic journey that shows the importance of love and it's forgiveness. This second chance romance, is such a relatable contemporary romance, it was so easy to become consumed with each and every word that was written, which was done with perfection. The dual pov made it even more sensational. The dialogue, I can't even put into words. This author knows how to write a book plain and simple. I can not get enough of Love, Again, and it's characters, every last one of them. I fell in love from the very first page, but by the end I was a goner. I can not wait to dive into more books by this author.

Aubrey Reynolds is Hollywood's IT author. She has an obsession with books, and what all they entail. This cookie loving woman, has everything she could ever want, but her dreams costed her more than enough regret to last a lifetime. She is still a small town girl, but she is living in a lonely world. Her fame hasn't changed her, she is still loyal to the core, and keeps her promises.

Cole Haywood is Dust Valley, Oklahoma's assistant - chief firefighter. Growing up on farmland in Dust Valley, the countryside has always been Cole's oasis. He enjoys the simple things in life, and has an amazing family that goes along with it. He has an amazing personality, with a forgiving heart, and just one regret in life.

When Aubrey is given a misdiagnoses, it changes her outlook on life. After all the hustle and bustle that comes with the Hollywood lifestyle, she realizes life is to short, and sets out on a journey to live the life she deserves, while creating a bucket list along the way. Realizing she is bound to torment herself for the rest of her life, or until she makes amends with her past, she sets out to right her wrongs, one of those things being, her high school sweetheart Cole. Can Aubrey make amends with her past to move forward with her life, or will her regrets last her for her lifetime?

A second chance at love allows the characters of this book to dive wholeheartedly into a romance that ended 10 years before. The attraction remains strong, but can they trust their hearts again? While the book was a little sliw to grab my attention it did indeed deliver! 4 stars!

I tend to be a fan of second-chance romances because it adds some guaranteed conflict between characters and their reunification is messy and complicated; thus, I was excited to read this book. Ten years prior Aubrey was engaged to Cole but right before the wedding she moved to Hollywood to pursue her dream in becoming a famous director. A medical scare has now caused her to re-evaluate her life and she decides to cross off items on her bucket list. That includes returning to Oklahoma and apologizing to Cole.

For me, this book was not that complicated, angsty second-chance romance. Within 48 hours Cole and Aubrey were back together and planning the rest of her bucket list "vacation". Everything between the two was neat and tidy and tied together with a pretty red ribbon. I was hoping for much more. I didn't feel an overwhelming connection between the characters; in fact, they were quite dull. Many people have really enjoyed this story; it just wasn't for me. I received a copy of this book from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

I was looking forward to this book from what I read from the synopsis. However, I was very disappointed with the content.

Aubrey and Cole were high school sweethearts who broke up a month before their wedding so that she could pursue her dreams of directing movies. She has since made it big winning every directing award that you could imagine. She comes back into town after 10 years hoping to find closure and potentially re-kindle their romance.

The conversations between characters felt forced and flat right from the very beginning, during the course of the book while I felt the conversations seemed to get more natural, but it didn't improve that much. Also after such a separation and the way it happened, I would have expected that Cole and Aubrey would have taken some more time to re-connect rather than falling into bed within 48 hours, Their wasn't anything in the book that made me feel any empathy for either character, and I felt that the story was just a loose idea to use as a place holder for the sex scenes - which was disappointing as I felt the story had a lot of potential.

This book was everything. Cole and Aubrey's second chance at love was a perfect ending for soulmates who lost out years before. This swoon worthy story had it all.

Aubrey is a famous Hollywood director accidently misdiagnosed with multiple myeloma. After finding out she was misdiagnosed, she decides to quit her job and cross off items on her bucket list, including apologizing to her ex-fiance. The man she left 1 month before their wedding 10 year ago.
While crossing items off her bucket list, she heads to St. Louis where a waiter tells her about Penned Con, a huge book signing and how there will be authors from all genres there. Intrigued, Aubrey purchases a ticket and goes to the event where she meets authors and purchases books straight from the source.
After St. Louis, she heads back to her hometown in Oklahoma where she explains to Cole the reason behind her flight. Still angry with her, he listens and acknowledges her reasoning. The two start hanging out together again and both realize that the spark is still there, even after the heartbreak and all the years apart.
Ms. Dover is a weaver of tales like no other. She brings together a storyline and characters that pull you in an keep you wanting more. Her writing keeps you invested and flipping pages until the end. In this story, I hope Aubrey’s BFF Emilie and Cole’s brother Bennett get their own story. This is definitely a 5-star review. I received a copy from Netgalley and this is my honest review.

Aubrey and Cole have a history. She's a small town girl who made it big in Hollywood. He's a small town fireman who loves what he does. When Aubrey left, she broke Cole's heart and left him angry and hurting, but a false positive test for a horrible diagnosis has her questioning her life choices...and losses.

L.P. Dover writes an encouraging story of awakening, with plenty of fun characters thrown in. I always enjoy the "behind the scenes" peek at the life of stars in romance novels--it's fun escapism. Aubrey and Cole's story provides all that fun plus some serious self reflection on drivenness. I enjoyed the writing and the boiling chemistry between the main characters.

Every book I have ever come across from L.P. Dover has been outstanding. This book did take me a little bit to become entranced but once i was in i was hooked. I would love to read another second chance romance by this talented author.

Aubrey Reynolds is one of Hollywood’s hottest directors. When she gets a health-scare she decides to make a bucket list and one of those things is to try to find her old boyfriend, Cole Haywood, that she left behind ten years ago. Can these two find love again or has too much time and pain made that impossible? This is a story not only of second chances but also of self discovery. Beautifully written second chance romance. Both characters are well written and very easy to liked along with the secondary characters. Cole also happens to be a hot firefighter so bonus!! “Always follow your dreams, but don’t leave the ones you love behind. You might come to find it’s too late if you do.” Told in dual POV

This was a sweet second chance romance book. It was a quick read that honestly, I could not put down. I enjoyed the characters and the story.

Aubrey Reynolds is a small-town girl who’s made it big as a director. In order to do this, she had to leave behind her fiancé. Now she has had a medical scare and decided to complete her bucket list. It eventually takes her back to her small town to apologize to Cole, who is assistant fire chief.

The characters are well defined, and I love how her best friend is not the clique A-list actress. I felt like all her adventures were rushed except for St. Louis and her home town. I don’t know if the author was giving advertisement for Penn Con (which I already have tickets for) or just felt it was important to include.

The only reason for the 4 stars is because there was not much of a fight between the main characters after seeing each other 10 years later. I felt like there should have been some more anger other than what was done on the steps outside of a bar.

I was granted an advance copy from Net Galley and the publisher in exchange for my honest review.

Great book!!
Love, Again will make you believe in second chances and true love. Aubrey and Cole met as babies and their friendship grew into love. When they were abruptly separated they still couldn’t stop thinking about each other. Pick up this book and see how the stars aligned for them to get back together. Soul mates have a way of finding their way back together and true love always wins. I loved everything about this book!

This was a wonderfully told story about a couple getting a 2nd chance at love. Years before Bree and Cole were in love and Bree left him for a dream of Hollywood. Now years later she is back after a false health scare as she travels to world making sure to follow her dreams and her bucket list.

One item on her bucket list is to go back home and try and earn Cole's forgiveness. This story really asks the question of "Can you go home again?" and I am not spoling what the outcome to that is. The story would have been great as a novella I felt it was a little longer than I would have liked and so I felt bored at times as I didnt really need to go along with Bree on her bucket list adventures.

That said it is well written and a litte different and original as a romance novel It is well writtend with characters I did love and a storyline I really enjoyed.

Ohhh L.P. Dover came through with a great second chance romance! Aubrey and Cole were high school sweethearts that were engaged to get married when Aubrey abruptly broke things off. Now years later, Aubrey comes back to her hometown for a visit and lets just say the spark is definitely still there!

I really enjoyed what L.P. Dover had in mind for Cole and Aubrey! I felt that L.P. Dover did not add in unnecessary drama and I found that extremely refreshing! I adored the supporting characters and kind of felt we got two romance stories in one novel with Emilia and Bennett-love that! I am keeping my fingers crossed L.P. Dover turns this novel into a series!!
