Happy Easter Little Hoo is a simple yet cute picture books for young children. Follow along as Little Hoo finds the Easter eggs. Have some counting practice at the end. Ideal for young children through early elementary.

I enjoy reading the Little Hoo stories to my granddaughter and she loves the illustrations. With Easter coming up, this is the perfect book to read to your little ones. Momma Owl has hidden Easter Eggs all over the house for Little Hoo to find. My granddaughter and I found them together and used the positional words in the story. We loved counting the eggs at that end of the story. Of course, she kept asking me if she could look for eggs and I had to explain that we had to wait for Easter. This is a fun, somewhat interactive story for toddlers with large, bright and colourful illustrations and a fun ending.

With Easter just around the corner, this is the perfect book for the season! Momma Owl has hidden Easter Eggs all over the house for Little Hoo (and little readers!) to find. I loved how it was set up for the reader to try to find the eggs in the big picture, and then have the answers on the next page. I also liked the counting up of all the eggs at the end - very interactive for young readers. I just wish the last few pages had some text instead of just the pictures to explain that Little Hoo and his friends took all the eggs to make egg salad sandwiches - yum!

This is a cute story for the little one great for Easter and the littlest ones to enjoy. It is an adventure for them to search for Easter eggs and even do some counting as they look for eggs while going on a hunt. It is a fun story to read together and look for the eggs together too. The illustrations are beautifully and colorful. We recommend it.

Precious book for young readers that includes spatial awareness: high and low, up and down, behind and under. Children will delight in helping Little Hoo find all of the eggs on his Easter egg hunt!

The little owl is looking for Easter eggs. There’s plenty to find, most of them easy, so play along.
This is more like a hidden thing game book than a story. Nice for what it is.

I received a complimentary copy of this book through NetGalley. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own - and well - my four year old daughters.

I am an avid reader of Christian fiction, and while browsing for appropriate books on NetGalley, I came across some appealing children's books. I immediately thought that this would be an interesting and innovative way to read to my four-year-old daughter. A couple of books by Brenda Ponnay were available for request so I thought I would give it a try.

Happy Easter, Little Hoo! is a fun and colourful story. It is easy to follow and very educational. My daughter enjoyed having a chance to count the easter eggs and to search for them around each room. It is well put together.

Thank you Brenda Ponnay.

For those looking for a cute Easter book, Happy Easter Little Hoo fits the bill. Little Hoo wakes up and is treated to an Easter egg hunt. He looks for eggs in his bedroom, the living room and in the kitchen. What's neat about this book is that a little one can look at the page and see if they can spy the eggs as Hoo does.
At the end, when Little Hoo has collected them all, the little one gets the opportunity to count the different eggs as well. It's a little-kid version of I Spy (kind of) with some educational components (counting), if desired.
There are no religious undertones, so this would be fine even if someone doesn't celebrate Easter (but likes the idea of an egg hunt!)
I'd recommend this book for children ages 2-4.

What a little fun book. The first page is awesome with all the colorful patterns of Easter eggs. Little Hoos has to find the hidden eggs. For little readers, this book helps in 3 ways.
1. They searcha nd find the eggs
2. They identify the places the ggs are hidden and learn the usage of high, low and so on
3. In the end, they get to count the treasure.
Very thoughtfully written beautiful book.

I adore Little Hoo books. They are simple with colorful illustrations and kids just love them too. This one is about Easter and would be perfect for a child's Easter basket.

Help Little Hoo take part in this common cultural (but not biblical) tradition of finding Easter eggs. Vibrant illustrations and the search-and-find challenge will keep the wee ones engaged.
