I love how informative this book is and how it goes into depth about each part of the lemon; this book seems like it is really trying to teach you something rather than just be an informative text. I enjoyed learning how to pick a lemon and the differences between them...who knew! There are so many ways to use lemons and this book goes into cleaning, cooking, and beauty products. I love that this one book could be all that I would need. It's also nice to have a book dedicated to one thing--the lemon--versus a multitude of ingredients.

Another interesting book from a series of Natural Apothecary. This one is about Lemons and covers chapters that has information about lemons and then goes on to "Growing and Buying Lemons," "Benefits", " Getting the Most out of Lemons," "Natural Remedies for Heath", Natural Beauty Treatments" and lastly "Natural Cleaning Products." Each has information and recipes to prepare your own products and how t is effective for health and uses.

If one is interested in natural apothecary this is a very detailed book, straightforward and well written

This book was full of information, but was overall rather boring and read more like a research paper rather than a book.

I can now pick the perfect lemon. I never knew the 4 p’s of lemons. Nor did I know they were full of more than vitamin c, beta carotene and calcium. Learned a lot.

Another good resource for anyone looking for more natural remedies for health, beauty and cleaning. Recipes and instructions for use are included along with advice on buying or growing your own lemons.

Thank you to Nourish and Netgalley for the opportunity to read this book in exchange for my honest review.

These little ingredient-specific books are pretty bare bones, containing only some high-level scientific info on how/why these natural substances work for health, beauty and cleaning, and some general instructions on making a handful of things. If you're seriously into learning about natural wellness, you'll probably want a more in-depth or universal book; however, it would be handy, I guess, to think "oh I have a cough and a lemon on hand" and then see what you could figure out there.
