I really liked the two main characters and loved the detail that you meet them when they first meet at Harvard then we fast forward to 10 years later. The two main characters POV was delivered really well and it had a satisfying ending.
My only quip with the book is that it was too short! I would have loved to read more about them
Thank you to NetGalley and the publisher for the chance to read this story in exchange for a honest review.

Hospital romances are my catnip so I was really excited to read this book. Unfortunately, it was not good. The plot was just bad. Alex and Jenny are medical students at Harvard. Alex has harbored feelings for Jenny for years but waits until Match Day (basically the end of medical school) to approach her. They go out on one date and he gives her an orgasm in the restaurant. I like erotica but really? Their first date turns into a three day sexfest where they fall into instalove. She freaks and leaves him. Their paths cross again years later when they both turn up as chiefs of their respective departments at the same hospital. The first day they are reunited? Angry sex. There was potential with the story but the execution was not good.

I have no words to describe how much I disliked this novel. I've read my fair share of instant love erotica stories but this doesn't even compare to them at all. The characters were bland, the sex scenes were lackluster, and the “I love you” literally happened within 3 days of passion while no details in between were given, which is quicker than quick in my opinion. Luckily it was a easy read and I was able to get this done by ½ hour. At least not much of my time was wasted.

This was a cute romance. I liked them both being doctors and reconnecting years later. I wish it was a little longer of a book.

Fast read, finished it in one sitting. More of a novella than a book. Not thick on plot, mostly hot sex scenes. Cute second chance plot, but I felt something was lacking.

Alex is Dr. Holy Hotness, and Jenny is the woman he has loved most of his adult life. They met in med school, and knew they were right for each other then. However, Jenny also knew that the time wasn’t right for them then. Unfortunately, leaving Alex with only a Dr. John letter hurt Alex more than she really expected. Years later, they meet again. They are both now at the top of their professions and working at the same hospital. It seems like the time is right, but has Jenny recovered from a painful childhood, and has Alex recovered from Jenny leaving him years earlier?
