The writing is so beautiful at times in this short novel and despite the story not being the most exciting, I would find myself reading through pages quickly.

This is my first book I have read by Lila Savage. The way that she describes her characters and the lives of Bryn and Jill, is very thought-provoking and deep. It makes one reflect on their own lives, and experiences and appreciate the life that we have right now in comparison to one "a ghost" moving through her own house (talking about Jill, Bryn's Wife who suffered a brain injury during a car crash).
This book then focuses profoundly on relationships, between the most normal/platonic relationships to one that is between those who are closest to another.
