I laughed so much reading this book! The dialogue is hilarious and the character development is outstanding. I will be reading more from these authors. Well done romantic comedy!

The most outrageously funny, heart-wrenching trip ever told by the dynamic duo Christina Lauren. You will fall in love with the siblings of the bride and groom. Olive and Ethan are arch enemies, but when everyone falls ill from eating toxic shrimp from the wedding, they go on their siblings the all-inclusive honeymoon trip to Maui, Hawaii. When they return Olive and Ethan are stuck star lovers until their family finds out and Olive proves that her sister’s new husband is a cheat. All bets are off, and Olive’s new life spins out of control.

I absolutely loved this book! While a bit of a cliche, it is such a fun romance that I couldn't put down! Olive's twin sister Ami got married and won an all-inclusive honeymoon to Hawaii for her and her new husband. However, when almost every wedding guest gets food poisoning at the wedding, Ami insists that Olive take the trip in her place, which sounds great, except she has to go with her sworn enemy, Ethan, who is the best man and the only other wedding guest who didn't get sick. The two agree to go on the trip and avoid each other at all costs, but this is easier said than done. Will it be worth it in the end or a total disaster of a trip?

I don't this Christina Lauren can write a bad book. this one was engaging, witty, funny, and so sexy! They truly have a gift for dialogue. I read through this book so fast I almost wanted to cry when I was finished because now I have to wait months to get another one of their books in my hot little hands.

I can't get enough of Christina Lauren's books! This one left me at the edge of my seat. In fact, I stayed up late last night just to finish it, and can't stop thinking about it! Not only that, but what a good message: Try to look at the positive side of things, you'll be much happier with YOURSELF as a result. Can't wait for the next one to come out.

As usual the writing team of Christina Lauren do not disappoint. This enemies-to-lovers romantic comedy is full of laugh out loud moments; and while it is light in the steamy department, the characters are fun (especially Olive), and the story is quite delightful and has an unexpected twist towards the end.

I was so excited to hear that Christina & Lauren were coming out with a new romcom, The Unhoneymooners. This delightful contemporary romance follows Olive and Ethan. Olive, the maid of honor, and Ethan, the best man and Olive’s nemesis, end up going her sister and his brother’s honeymoon after the rest of the wedding party gets food poisoning. Now they’re stuck together for 10 nights in beautiful Hawaii. Will it be fun in paradise or hell on the island? I’m always a sucker for a great enemies-turned-lovers and this did not disappoint! I loved how refreshing both the main characters were. They both strong and mature for the most part. They may be a bit stubborn, but I loved their character development and how they were aware of other people around them. I also loved Olive and Ethan’s chemistry as well. The writing style kept me intrigued. While I was reading, I could imagine this romcom being played out as a movie. There were some parts of the story where I literally laughed out loud. As I was getting to the end of the story, I was getting a bit sentimental and didn’t want tot to end. I highly recommend reading this novel whether it’s your first Christina Lauren novel or your sixth!

Christina Lauren's latest shows off their mastery of the rom-com.

The Unhoneymooners is a wild romp -- delightful, charming, and laugh-out-loud hilarious. They've turned down the heat a bit, instead delivering all classic beats of an enemies-to-lovers rom-com: bickery banter, wardrobe malfunctions, misunderstandings, and finally forced proximity. This is a movie waiting to be made.

#TheUnhoneymooners is a lighthearted rom-com with relatable characters that cozy right up to the reader. The narrative itself is predictable but the strong cast of characters distracts the reader from the familiarity. It’s full of emotion, steamy scenes, and of course some down right hysterical moments.

When Olive and Ethan are pushed together to use their siblings’ wasted honeymoon package in Maui, everyone expects disaster, including them. After all, they have been enemies for almost two and a half years. But something happens in Hawaii. While they spin lies to everyone around them, their edges soften. Their truths are told. They find an ease in each other. But what happens when they’re forced back to reality?

Olive is used to being the unlucky twin, while her sister, Ami, is the Queen of contests. Ami has financed her entire wedding through contest winnings - from the bridal gown to the honeymoon to the seafood buffet. The seafood buffet turns out to be a problem, as all of the wedding guests and the wedding party, except for Ami and best man/nemesis Ethan, are struck with a hideous case of food poisoning. That means Ami and her nemesis are headed to Hawaii on a 10 day un-honeymoon. A funny, entertaining beach read.

Though much of the story was barely believable, I really enjoyed Ethan and Olive's story. I think everyone needs a Romance writer like Christina Lauren to turn to when they need a quirky, funny love story.

OH, Christina & Lauren, you ladies have done it again! Move over Josh & Reid, there's a new book boyfriend in my life and his name is Ethan Thomas! I've said this before but I am continually impressed by this duo's ability to turn out books so frequently while never sacrificing quality.

In The Unhoneymooners, we find Ethan (*swoons*) and Olive taking the place of their respective siblings Dane and Ami on their honeymoon, due to a particularly nasty bout of food poisoning at their wedding reception. Going from sworn mortal enemies to possible friends to lovers seems like a obvious plot, but in true CL style, there is a ton of heart and emotion on the way to a HEA.

This book made me want to pack a bag to Hawaii and find my own Ethan!

Thank you to Gallery books for an advanced copy. All opinions are my own.

One word for this book is Hilarious! I freaking loved this book.

This book had me laughing out loud one minute and then swooning over Ethan the next.

I could read about these two characters stories forever. Every word oozes perfection!

I mean this book is legit and I absolutely love Christina Lauren!

Once you read the synopsis you will be hooked but I guarantee you that what goes down in this book it totally not what anyone was expecting!

Omg then close to the end when the sister did what she did, then boom the doorbell rings and Holy Mother!!!

I can't go on because I will spoil it and I will not do that.

Don't judge me but the song that was playing in my head was Lips like Sugar from Seal!

Happy reading!!

I have absolutely fallen in love with Christina Lauren and this book "The Unhoneymooners" just made that love even stronger! I really enjoyed Olive as the heroine in this book mainly because she's not what society would deem "perfect." I love her "flaws" and her attitude about things. I enjoyed Ethan as well. It can't be easy going on a honeymoon with someone you think you hate! It reminded me slightly of Just Go With It (Adam Sandler).

I haven’t read a book by Christina Lauren that I didn’t love, and I loved The Unhoneymooners. This is an enemies-to-lovers trope all stemming from miscommunication and jumping to conclusions. Olive has terrible luck. Her twin sister Ami has great luck, including winning contests to get all the free things for her wedding. It seems like good luck anyway, until the entire wedding party gets sick on the free shellfish, except Olive and the best man, Ethan. Olive hates Ethan because it seems like Ethan hates her. Now, they’ve agreed to take the non-refundable honeymoon in place of the bride and groom.

I loved how funny this book was and how real it was. It comes out May 14th, make sure you don’t miss it!

Anyone else want all Christina Lauren books made into movies?

Thanks to Netgalley and the publishers for a copy in exchange for my honest review.

This was a fun romantic comedy about two people who think the other hates them and so hate each other in turn. Olive is the maid of honor in her twin sister's wedding, which means that she has to put up with Ethan, who is the groom's brother and best man. Olive also believes that her sister, Ami has all the good luck, while she has nothing but bad luck. When the entire wedding party other than Ethan and Olive contract food poisoning, the bride and groom insist that Olive and Ethan go in their place. Otherwise, the trip, which Ami won, would go to waste, as it cannot be rescheduled. The interactions between the two at first are snarky, but as the story progresses, they find out they really aren't who they thought they were, and their relationship begins to grow. They question is whether they can maintain their relationship once they return to everyday life.

This story was fun and humerous, but it had some emotional moments as well. This was a good light read.
