The blurb interested me, and enticed me to read this novel. There are many "very steamy" love scenes. Want to spice tonight up? Read for that. The characters were interesting, and I don't think one size fits all, and I applaud the author for writing about the Demi/Ashton attraction. Why not is what I say! Thank you!

This book was not good at all. I couldn't get past the poor character development and the constant smoking. Even the sex scenes were not that great.

Awesome book. Glad I gave it a try. I fell in love with the characters right from the beginning. You should definitely read this book

I did not like this book. Each sentence seemed to be a copy and paste of the previous one.
I have nothing else to say.

Oh my word, this book is a mess!! It was so beyond painful to read. I couldn’t even get past the third chapter. I feel like I have it a fair shot. But it sounded like a third grader wrote it. The dialogue is atrocious. I just can’t with this book. Don’t waste your time!!!

The book Where whispers are was an interesting read. Here is the review of the book . On the positive note, this book lives upto its genre Erotic fiction. The concept by itself i.e a older woman and a younger man was new for me. I liked this about the book . The erotic scenes in this book was very good for those who enjoy the genre.
However some aspects of the book I did not like. The story line was quite weak and not very interesting for me .(Despite the erotic scenes ) . There were also some inconsistencies in the book ( spoiler alert) in chapter 19 , Olivia says Kristine is seven years older and in chapter 21 it becomes nine years .. I also did not like the chapter epilogue , somehow I feel it can be improved . Overall , this is a good book for those who are looking for just the erotic sex scenes , but if you are looking for a story as well , this may not be best book for you

Michael has been in love with his teacher for a while and decides the way to her heart is to write her a book of poetry. Olivia is flattered by his attention and decides to give him a chance. This story was quite bland despite the copious amounts of sex. The characters were pretty one-dimensional and I kept waiting for something to happen throughout the book. It was quite detailed but it really needed to get to the next level. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Thanks NetGalley for facilitating the title.

I don’t have much to say about it other than I didn’t like it.
It’s sold as an erotic but the sex scenes were lacking pretty much in everything. I didn’t find them arousing in the least.

The characters completely unbelievable. An 18 year old whose parents show no concern of him dating a 35 year old. And the dialogue was so out of touch, no one speaks like that.

This was not a believable romance. I just couldn’t get into the characters. I normally like older woman younger man but this just didn’t seem believable. Sorry.

With all due respect to the author of this book, I found it cringeworthy. It is plain that Cameron Rowe loved her main and supporting characters, The love scenes were super explicit, which is to be expected, but the dialogue and storyline were awful. The older woman/younger man theme could have been developed with so much more maturity and depth, but the whole goal here seemed to be to describe the lovemaking. Michael is one dimensional and overly worshipful of Olivia. Olivia was extremely conceited. She lacked vulnerability and was that much less likable for it. Furthermore, the characters' lives were too perfect: everyone accepted and encouraged them, and they grew fabulously wealthy while smoking and gambling (with uncharacteristic success) and writing hot romance novels. Nice fantasy world that could have been made better with more effort toward realistic dialog and development.
