We first met Aaron Livingston in Make Me Want as a potential suitor for Lucy. Who would've thought he'd end up with a one night stand with her sister Becka. But sparks fly and in the end there are consequences.
Becka is freaked when she realizes she's pregnant. Determined to see this through she comes clean with Aaron only to have him steamroll get into make huge changes in her life. Make Me Yours
Katee Robert
Becka Baudin is attending her sister’s wedding. While she is happy for her, she still feels a little resentment, she feels like she is being left behind by her sister Lucy and best friend Allie. She figures a little one night stand will make her feel better. Quick, no commitments. She spies a handsome man across the room, who is also checking her out. Their chemistry is hot. Aaron Livingston is a business associate also attending the wedding. He is drawn to Becka too. They have a night of wild sex and separate. Aaron wanted more than one night, but Becka didn’t. Time goes on and Aaron still thinks about Becka, he finally gets a call three months later. It seems Becka is pregnant. Aaron plans on being involved in the baby’s life much to Becka’s annoyance. She doesn’t want to be managed. He moves her into his penthouse and tries to take care of her. Throughout, they butt heads. Aaron tries to figure out a way to melt Becka’s heart and make her realize that he wants her as well as the baby. Becka soon realizes that he will allow her to be herself and not everyone will be like her parents.
I liked this story even though at times I wanted to shake Becka and tell her to give Aaron a chance. Their relationship at times was explosive. Eventually Aaron was able to break down her walls and she realized that not every relationship was like her parents. They did end up with their HEA. I am going to read the two stories before this in which Allie and Lucy find their loves.

I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily give my review.

This book is the 3rd in a series, but can be read as a standalone (which is what I did). I don't feel that I was missing any information, but i do want to go back and read books 1 and 2. This book has one of the tropes I love love love, Secret Baby... well not so secret, because much to my enjoyment Becka comes out and tells Aaron at the beginning of the book. One of my biggest pet peeves is when characters make dumb decisions and don't act like adults. I love that Becka told Aaron at the start of the book and the reader gets to watch their banter unfold. I really enjoyed these characters and their story, but there were a couple of things that gave me pause and seemed a little unbelievable when I was reading (probably just because i can't relate)
1) Becka is a spin instructor and personal trainer, and Aaron was very protective of her, but never once said anything about being concerned about her level of activity- which I feel an overprotective guy might do
2) I have been pregnant, and I can not imagine doing 1 spin class let alone multiple classes per day- if you can do that I am amazed. When i was pregnant I was so exhausted I would need a nap after going to get a glass of water.

Overall I definitely recommend this book, I look forward to going back and reading the other stories in this series.

ARC received for review

Aaron (friend to heros in books one and two) and Becka (sister to book 1 heroine and bff to book 2 heroine) hook up one time at her sister's wedding with a broke condom. Lots of angst and drama ensue, but in the end all well. This one has something the previous two didn't...an epilogue.

The writing is well done, the characters Becka and Aaron were likable, entertaining and the chemistry between was smoking!

Overall, Make Me Yours is a quick and steamy read and I highly recommend it.

Make Me Yours by Katee Robert is the third book in her Make Me series, but the first I read, and I never felt as if I was missing anything. In this book, we meet Aaron and Becka and have a surprise baby story with all the feels. Aaron is a man with strong determination. He worked hard to be where he is today, CEO of a top tech company. He is not the kind of man that goes chasing things, but when he meets Becka at a wedding and they share one fabulous night together, he can’t get her out of his mind.

Becka only wanted one night of sexy fun. But when she finds out she is pregnant, there is nothing Aaron will do to make her his. Becka was resistant to anything permanent and struggled to let others in. She was a smart and independent woman, but the more time she spend with Aaron, she began to open herself more. Make Me Yours by Katee Robert was a quick read about learning to trust, give and take and letting others in. It was a bit angsty and a whole lot of sexy!

Katee is one of my favorite authors. There was a gap between my reading Make Me Yours and Make Me Crave. I wish I had re-read that because I had forgotten some character details. But still it’s the perfect surprise baby story. The character development was good and the story flowed well.

Aaron and Becka meet at her sister's wedding and end up having a one night stand with big consequences that pushes them into navigating their issues and differences to try to form a relationship. I liked the premise, and I mostly liked Aaron, but Becka drove me nuts with frustration. She couldn't get over herself for a second and she used the fact that she had mediocre parents (not the worst, but not great either) as an excuse to behave like a stubborn kid. And all this childish behavior under the guise of being a "strong," "independent" woman. I think that's what grated on my nerves the most: being strong is not the same as being hardheaded and being independent is not the same as pushing people away and then crying foul when they do indeed leave. So, Becka was a no for me, but the writing was good, the hero was likable and the story was well-paced.

Thanks to NetGalley for providing an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I really need to go back and read the others in thi8s series. I really had a hard time with Becca, she is not very likable. Aaron was easier and he was a very alpha male. I do enjoy the banter and how they both are trying to make it work.

Ok so this is where I started in this series...and I’ll be checking out the first two books soon. But in the meantime, Becka is one of the prickliest characters I’ve come across. Poor Aaron. He’s got his work cut out for him. I really liked Aaron. Becka, took me a while to warm up to her. Sometimes I’d just roll my eyes at her. And at the end, it should’ve been her who made the first step waay ahead of Aaron.

Anyway, she’s lucky to have him in my opinion. And because it took me a while to like her, this is a 3 star story.

Thank you NetGalley and publisher for a copy of this book.

usually accidental pregnancy stories don't work for me, but there was something about becka and aaron, maybe how hot the chemistry ran between them. maybe how the way they connect physically leads them to connect emotionally on so many levels is done in a way that feels organic and honest. it doesn't just happen in an instinctive way, but in an intellectual way that really works for me.

they have reservations about each other all over the place. but they also want each other so badly. make me yours works because that's all either of them really wants. to belong. to be claimed. to be wanted by the other person as badly as they want.

**make me yours will publish on may 1, 2019. i received an advance reader copy courtesy of netgalley/harlequin (dare) in exchange for my honest review.

I did not like Becka. I disliked her to be honest. She has mammy issues and never got over them, not even at the end of the book. I can't believe that Aaron was the one who thought that should be doing the grooving. Becka was acting selfishly during the whole book and I didn't feel like she allowed him some room in her life. He always had to push in order to take their relationship one step further from the "we just had a one night stand and now we share a baby" status. Her house had a cracked window and there was a leak on the wall and she thought that it was an ok play to raise a baby and had no plans to fix it. What kind of mommy issues are these? Aaron had to push hard to make her see some sense. I never believed that she changed her mind about her relationship with him, but the book had to end, so we got a rushed ending. I am disappointed by this book and I was expecting more from Katee Robert. Aaron saved the book from being a complete disaster in my eyes.

Harlequin Dare publishing does know how to give us some smoking hot, flirty, quick, romantic reads. Whether it’s on a warm, sunny beach or curled up on a cold night on your comfy sofa, you’ll likely feel the scorching heat in each book in no time. Make Me Yours by Katee Robert certainly proves that point. Becka and Aaron, the main couple, waste no time doing just that as two lusty strangers who have a one night stand following a mutual friend/family wedding reception.

Unfortunately, the numerous, very lengthy, descriptive steamy scenes kept stepping in and interrupting just when I felt the couple were about to make progress in securing more of an emotional connection. A sure sign is when I found myself completely skimming over the smex to search for the substance of their romantic plot. I knew it was there. I was given hints and small tastes due to their mental monologues and their family background. I just needed to see more of it in action instead of their skin. “Oh, they’re at it again” kept popping into my mind.

Aaron seemed to want that, too. He kept hoping Becka would open up and reveal more of her emotional side to him. He sincerely wanted to get to know his new baby mama, folks. Heck, he seemed disappointed she bolted after their brief, quickie encounter. I felt she kept distracting him by taking her clothes off and avoiding meaningful conversations with him. I was told more than felt why this gal was so skeptical and skittish of pursuing true love. Frankly, I found her mindset annoying and very illogical.

Aaron came across as a wealthy, successful, caring, hardworking, good guy, who was rather on the bossy, takes no excuses side, but truly wanted to give Beck and his baby a good life. He didn’t question for a single second being the baby’s father, btw.

To me this main couple felt like lusty strangers fumbling around in the dark trying to come to terms with this sudden, unexpected detour in their lives. Aaron was able to man up immediately and handle it. Becka, not so much. She held onto the foolish belief happiness was out of her reach due to her family DNA. The whole scenario in general is a rather overused one in this genre. Overall, I didn't particularly think this one stands out of that cookie cutter mold.

So I’d recommend this book mostly to those who are looking for a graphically steamy read with relationship baby mama/daddy drama lurking in the background.

The O’Malley’s series is a different story, my fellow romance book loving friends. I do highly recommend each and every book in that great mafia series, which is written by this same author. Though stand-alones, I suggest you read them in order for full character development.

#1 The Marriage Contract, #2 The Wedding Pact, #3 An Indecent Proposal, #4 Forbidden Promises, #5 Undercover Attraction, and #6 The Bastard’s Bargain.

Title: Make Me Yours, Series: Make Me, Author: Katee Robert, Pages: 158, stand-alone but part of a series, baby mama/daddy drama, no OW/OM, no cheating, no love triangle, lots of VERY graphic steamy scenes.

Book 1 - Make Me Want
Book 2 - Make Me Crave
Book 3 - Make Me Yours

Make Me Yours by Katee Robert is book Three in the Make Me series. This is the story of Aaron Livingston and Becka Baudin. I haven't yet read the previous books, so for me this was a standalone book.
Becka doesn't believe in love and romance but does believe she wants Aaron for one hot night after they meet. Aaron wants Becka from the start and she never left his mind after she left him the morning after their hot encounter. When she contacts him a few months later letting him know that they have something left from that night he quickly goes forward to bring her home. But can the reluctant women start believing in the impossible?
Quick Hot Read!!
