I was a bit worried about this book. I was not feeling it but I kept reading and really enjoyed the concept of this book by the end. It think it has a very good plot and I will be watching for book 2.

I am curious at where the story will go. If you are having trouble with the start, continue with it, I think it does itself justice about half way through and the end did not disappoint.

Dawn of Days is a dramatic story of angels and humans and the afterlife. One woman, Julie, is the human focus on an afterlife journey. I got lost somewhere in the story and never could get really invested in the story. I failed to connect to the narrative or the characters. Unfortunately, I didn't enjoy this one like I thought I would. Thanks to NetGalley for an arc in exchange for an honest review.
