I chose this book because I am currently writing my dissertation on mindset and grit/perseverance. I was intrigued to see what this book had to say about grit, working toward a specific result, and how to get there. This is a very practical, no nonsense approach to success. The writing was clean and engaging.

A lot of material that can be found elsewhere. It is explained well but I did not learn anything new.

This book is more about getting things done and what you need to know and do to achieve just that. It's simply written which makes it easy to read and provides experiences that helped Rhonda have strong perceptions and seek to be a better person.
I do wish that it had a section at the end of each principle re-evaluating the main take-aways from that chapter.
