Fun historical clean romance with plenty of action packed in a quick book. The characters were lovely and the story kept me entertained for an afternoon. Looking forward to reading this author again. I received a copy from NetGalley and the publisher and this is my honest opinion.

I feel sorry for Delia having such a manipulating family they are a pain in the romp. I don’t care what century it is, one must not all one's self to be taken for dumb puppets and Delia and Marshall are two such, they show no backbone at all. A mild sometimes confusing and interesting romance that seems to be tinged with a little bit of mystery.

Delia, Lady Rutledge and Marshall, Lord Compton get caught in a cave in at an archeological site. A large dog helps dig them out. Delia is kidnapped, but found soon after. This book has a mention of fortune tellers, fairies, witches and other paranormal beings. It has a Happily Ever After but you have to pay close attention as the story wanders from one thing to another. I thought it was an okay book. I received this book from Net Galley and Purple Storm Publishing for a honest review.

A nice romance and a quick read. I didn't like Delia upon first meeting her. I didn't like her sister either. As the story progressed, both characters grew on me. I would have liked more explanation about the Guernsey folklore and the Fairy King. Maybe there is more in an upcoming book, maybe one that has Mel sailing away on a romance of her own.

Folly at Sausmarez Manor (A Majestic Estates Series Novella)
by IreAnne Chambers

An up and coming author. I had a little difficulty with the language switch at times, however, all in all it was a very nice read. I will be following this author in the future to see her development for she has some nice ways of writing a story. This particular story was a little unique and got my imagination working. I would of liked it to be more full bodied but for a novella it was good. I got the ARC via NetGalley. All opinions here are my own and voluntary.
