Amy Andrews was new for me - so I was very happy to read her first book of the new Credence, Colorado series. Sometimes I wish the story was a little tighter. There were a lot of side scenes and second storylines. I prefer it when the story of one couple is told per book.
Apart from that it was a fresh and well told book and I enjoyed it very much. The people who were introduced to us in this book were all very likeable and lovable - and I am looking forward to accompanying them in the other books.

Rarely do you find a romance with so many amazing characters, right after I finished Nothing But Trouble my mind started contemplating whose story I'd want to hear next...

Amy Andrews emotionally invested me, the reader. She masterfully pulled me through the gambit emotions following the CC's and Wade's rocking relationship while keeping us completely loving their surrounding cast! She even managed taking an very unlikable, self centered, star and turned him into the perfect guy for CC.

Straight up, Nothing But Trouble is a feel good, family centered, hometown romance with a golden cast that I just can't get enough of.

I received this ARC copy of Nothing But Trouble from Entangled Publishing, LLC - Amara. This is my honest and voluntary review. Nothing But Trouble is set for publication April 30, 2019.

This was a fun book! I liked the characters and quickly became invested in their story. I very much enjoyed the humor and the tone of their bantering back and forth. Although the premise is one I've read before, this was fresh and engaging. I didn't want to put the book down and stayed up way too late to finish it! I think this is a great foundation for Amy Andrews' new series and I look forward to reading the next books.

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Nothing but Trouble by Amy Andrews is a fun story with lots of humor. Cecilia has been retired NFL quarterback Wade Carter’s personal assistant for five years. He is a self-centered womanizer that she is tired of babysitting. She is done and wants to move on to other things in her life. She gives her notice but then has to stay on with him a few months longer due to his family issue that came up. So why, all of a sudden, does she start to notice him as a man instead of her boss? Wade has relied on CC for so long that he can not imagine her not being there. In a cute twist, these two suddenly start to enjoy each other’s company and realize that they belong together. Take time to read this story and take a ride into their humorous relationship.

A big thank you to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for the ARC. I am voluntarily reviewing this book. This is Wade, an ex pro football player and his personal assistant CC's story. It's a fun, enjoyable book. You almost feel sorry for Wade!! Almost lol. I rate this 3.5 stars.

CC has been Wade’s personal assistant for over 5 years. In all that time the both of them had been in an intensely close but strictly professional relationship – one of the stipulations CC insisted on at the beginning of her job. After all Wade’s 1st meeting with CC was when he come across her kneeing her boss who was trying to get too friendly. CC is the perfect PA who not only know and understands (& puts up with) all of Wade’s moods. But after 5 years, one of the aspects of her job that she is quite tired of, is consoling his ex-girlfriends. A man who doesn’t do or make commitments, all of Wade’s relationships are strictly short term.
When Wade’s father is hospitalized for a heart problem & is told to take it easy, Wade decides to move back to his home town to be with his family for the summer, spend time on the family farm helping out and finish the memoir he is writing.
This was a fantastic, feel good sort of book. The relationship between CC and Wade while strictly professional initially is amazingly close. When put into a totally different situation, each starts seeing a different aspect of each other and the tight constraints they each put on their behaviour starts to loosen.
I totally adored CC and Wade and the charming town and population of Credence. Highly recommended

3.5 Stars! This was an odd romance novel for me. Mostly because it doesn't really become a romance novel with a main hero and heroine you're rooting for thill about halfway in. Before that, this is mainly the story of an ex-American football player, his PA, and his entire hometown. Much of this book is like a humorous homegoing-type story. Because of this, when the romance clicks on, there are already several other characters I'm viewing as romantic leads, case in point the hero's brother, Wyatt, who I was rooting for to get the heroine. (Not for long but I liked him better).

What makes this an interesting romance novel is that we get a great deal of the hero's perspective and he's still not very likeable for most of the book. The heroine isn't compromising and swooning just because the hero is hot and successful, so if you like strong female leads, you'll definitely like this one.

Where this fell a little flat for me was in the chemistry and romance department between the hero and heroine. Because they are competing for attention with several other likeable characters and because their chemistry doesn't kick in till halfway into the book, by the time it does click on (and it DOES), it's a little late. Because they weren't even friends before. This is less slow burn than ignite out of nowhere.

I would however totally read more of this author and definitely am interested in the next books in this series because she has built a compelling small town world with characters you care about and want to know more about. Really liked this one! I received an advanced reading copy of this book from Entangled Publishing through NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.

This is a delightful story filled with wonderful main and secondary characters .
The story centers around retired NFL quarterback Wade Carter and his PA CC/Cecilia Morgan.
Wade is spoiled and demanding, and his PA is efficient and keeps him on track.
Now that CC has the money for her dream home on the California coast, she is ready to quit . But when Wade’s father is taken to the hospital, all plans are put on hold and they both go to Credence, CO. A town filled with corky characters and who doesn’t see Wade as a celebrity. A town that accepts CC as one of their own.
It’s a story about family unity or the lack thereof. Of how our experiences in life whether as a child or as an adult can deeply affect us . Sometimes by protecting ourselves, and other times by not getting involved in life. But in the midst of all this there is hope, and the possibility of finding happiness and love.
This is the first book I have read by this author, but definitely will not be the last.
I was entrusted a copy of this book by Netgalley and Entangled Publishing. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Oh my gosh...I loved this book. CC is a ball-busting PA for Wade Carter, retired quarterback of the Denver Broncos. She has always been in the background taking care of his schedule, his everyday life, & his love life. Wade is a serial dater since he had his heart broken many years ago. CC enjoys her job as it allows her independence & reminds her that men are fickle (her dad left her mom & had another family). The sparks between these two is palpable even before they realize that they’re there. I highly recommend reading this book to see what happens to their relationship & also meet the people of Credence, Wade’s hometown. I’d love to read a book about Arlo. :-)

PA CC has been working for a demanding ex quarterback for years. He works her hard, demanding her to always be on call, doing everything from setting making appointments , buying condoms, and dumping his one night stands. She has a plan, she has saved and it's time to move on and find him a new PA. There is only one problem, Wade does not want to let her go. He finds a way to manipulate her and it leads to a whole new complication.
This was a great read, so much fun. There was so much conflict between these two. Wade was a womanizing irresponsible man child and CC responsible one, the one with a plan. She knows everything about him, he knows little about her. She wants to stay on a professional level, he wants to test that line. They couldn't be more oil and water, and that makes the best coupling. Hot, steamy, with a slow build up that is perfect for this relationship.
If you are looking for some snarky, romantic fun, this might be the one for you.

I'll be the first to admit that western/country romance novels do not work for me so I almost passed on Nothing But Trouble based solely on that cowboy hat on the cover. I'm glad I didn't let that stop me. That man in the cowboy hat is NFL Quarterback superstar Wade Carter and the woman in his arms is his personal assistant of 6 years. It has all of the forbidden romance, will they or want they drama that you'll love.

Celia is a PA for Wade, who is a 3 time Superbowl winning player, who is now retired. Wade is a high maintenance boss and Celia is the only one has been able to tolerate him enough to stay with Wade. She has a 6 year contract that is almost up. Wade is a serial dater who doesn't see himself ever getting married. Cecilia has plans of moving to California, after her contract, and living out the dream she has had in her head.

One day, Wade gets a call that his dad has had some heart trouble and has to have a ICD implanted. Dad is a pig farmer and Wade's brother works on the farm with him. Wade decides to take a trip to the farm to help out. He is going to spend three months in the small town he grew up in. He insists that Cecilia go with him.

The two of them learn a lot about themselves and each other. They discover that sometimes what you see, right in front of your face, is often not as it appears.

I really enjoyed this book and I am going to read others by this author.

NOTHING BUT TROUBLE is a great read! Loved the characters: CC and Wade. Being a personal assistant to a legendary football player isn’t an easy job. Being at Wade’s beck and call 24/7 for 5 years is almost over, there is only has 6 months left on her contract and she can move to beach. When CC gives her notice he panics, he does want her to leave. A family emergency has CC and Wade moving to Credence, to live together in his Gone With The Wind like home. He is hoping she will change her mind. I loved this story, the characters are awesome, the town of Credence is charming and I love football. I highly recommend!

I honestly can’t remember the last book I read that made me feel so good! Nothing But Trouble by Author Amy Andrews just was such a wonderful book! It was such a perfect small town storyline and from start to finish it kept me so engaged.

Cecilia Morgan, CC, has worked for retired Denver Broncos’ quarterback Wade Carter 24/7 for the last 5 ½ years as his PA, his “girl Friday” so to speak. She has taken care of smoothing over all his one-night-stands, his situations, his schedule, and his phone calls…neglecting her personal life the whole time. She plans to quit and move to California after she finds out she has met her savings goal, but a phone call telling him his father is in the hospital stops her from being able to do that. He decides the book he has to write can be done from his hometown of Credence, Colorado while stepping in to help out on the family farm…and he needs CC to go with him.

The denial and then gradual realization of their feelings is written in absolute perfection! I REALLY enjoyed ALL the characters in this book so much! Wade’s family and friends, and all of the town’s folk were so great in this story. I loved the Scarlet/Rhett/Tara/Gone With the Wind parts to Wilburta and George to the Grow Credence Committee to…all of it!!! I love how CC is such a strong woman and speaks her mind and I also loved the side story with Wyatt, Wade’s brother. When he finally finishes the book…LOVE, LOVE, LOVE IT!!! The epilogue is heartwarming. I am completely looking forward to the next book in the series! 5 stars!

**I voluntarily read an early copy of this title courtesy of NetGalley and the publisher**

This was my first introduction to Amy Andrews and I'm so glad I took a chance on a new author and requested this title! I really enjoyed her style of writing and the story was fantastic!

CC Morgan has worked for former Broncos quarterback Wade Carter for nearly six years. In those years, she's been on call 24/7. This could mean calls at 3 a.m. to go on a condom run or it could mean sending flowers to let a woman down easily that Wade has slept with. Not to mention she manages his schedule and pretty much everything else in his life as well. CC's goal, and dream, is to make it to the end of her contract, which happens in three months time, so she can move to California and live near the water.

When Wade's father has a heart attack, the former footballer wants to go back to his small hometown to help his brother run the family farm while his father is recovering. Of course, Wade tells CC she has to come with him and they are going to be there for an extended period of time.

With Wade and CC living in closer proximity than they have previously and discovering things about one another that they didn't already know, things begin to change between them in ways they never could have imagined.

I loved both of these characters separately and as a couple. CC was strong, didn't put up with Wade's crap and wasn't afraid to tell him exactly how it was, but she also had a softness to her and a sweet spot for animals too! Wade was one of those people that grew as the book unfolded. He was the quintessential playboy at the start, but once home with his family, he started to see what else there might be out there for him and his future.

Amy Andrews told a fantastic story and I simply can't wait for the next book in this series. I have no doubt it's going to be awesome!

4 1/2 stars! This is my first Amy Andrews book and I am so glad I requested it because I really liked it! Wade and CC were definitely on a very slow simmer for most of the book which was great for the anticipation factor. Both of their characters are awesome as are others in the book. The story is charming, fun, and flirty while having some serious components to it as well. I felt so many emotions! It is honestly just a really good romance. I will definitely read more from this author.

Thank you to Netgalley/Publisher for the ARC of this one!

A Great Romance SO Good for your Funny Bone💚💙
First of all, I think this is a fantastic romance(I want to say I liked the shit out of it), reads easy and at a fast pace.
Wade, a retired hunky quarterback that started with humble beginnings, is now worth billions and pays his PA megabucks to be his PA 24/7 with a contractual date of 6 years, which is now coming to an end, has issues though, more than he knows.
CC, said PA, is sassy, brilliant, efficient-a tad bit OCD and who has been immune to all things Wade, cannot wait to get started on her OWN life again and is marking off days. Well, life doesn't always cooperate, but it just gets better, at least for those of us reading about it.
This book has an air of comedy about it. The events with all the reactions had me lol'ing often. Still a heartfelt journey with depth and chemistry. The witty storytelling, no matter the scenario, didn't deter, just enhanced.
All the characters, two or four-legged, were a great and an integral part to this journey between Wade and CC. I look forward to reading the rest of this series set in Credence, CO.
I received an ARC thru Netgalley and Entangled Publishing, LLC. All thoughts and opinions are my own and freely given.

For five years, Cecelia Morgan's entire existence has revolved around playing personal assistant to self-centered former NFL quarterback Wade Carter. It honestly took me a while to get into this one but once I did I couldn't put it down. This is one of the feel good books where it takes both of them a while to realize they're perfect for each other.
