I really enjoyed this book and it takes me back to visiting with my own grandmothers. I wasn't lucky enough to have them in my life as an adult but I still miss them and wish I'd had them longer. Ladysitting covers 5 generations of a proud and happy family. It gives an eye witness account of many events from the last 100 years. I think it's wonderful that Ms. Cary has documented these stories for future generations. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Ladysitting is a touching story of woman's relationship with her grandmother. As Cary's grandmother begins to decline, she reflects on her relationship with her and also shares fascinating details about her family history. I enjoyed reading this book as it emphasizes the important bonds between family generations and stories that need to be cultivated and cared about.
