Perfect summer read. A beautiful written lighthearted romance. My first by this Author. Will be looking out for more.

This book is full of emotion and warmth! It's the perfect weekend reading! I found the main character of Holly was believable and I felt myself really taken in by her relationship with Rich. I also loved how the author created the vineyard to pop off the pages. I really felt part of the story! Good summer read for anyone who likes Phillipa Ashley or Cathy Bramley!

amazing light hearted romance read! The pace of this book is not too slow or too fast and the character seemed real and the conflicts doesnt look fake or made up or rushed! Although i think at the end on who damaged the truck seemed a bit too made up like they just find a random person to be the perpetrator.

Nice story.

Holly comes home for her grandfathers funeral. She brings her 3 month old son Luke with her. Problem is nobody knew she was pregnant, including Holly's ex Rich who is shocked to find out he is a father.

Holly sets out to settle down to life at her family's vineyard and try and help turn its fortunes around whilst juggling co-parenting with her ex, and adopting a puppy.

I really enjoyed this, thought it was a great read, and i was so engaged i read it all in one go.

Holly has returned home to Greenacres after a year of running away when her dreams for the future fell apart. She’s back and determined to stay to help her family business. .
Rich, the reason she left is also back and together they find a way to sort through their issues. I found the story uplifting, the emotional journey the author takes you through was real and believable. The other characters in the story are likeable and strong which enhanced this charming book.

Review from Jeannie Zelos book reviews

Genre: general fiction (adult), women's fiction

Once more, women's fiction. Why, why alienate men? They read books like this too.

Well, I wanted to love this book, it sounded perfect for me but....it wasn't a bad read, but it wasn't one that filled me with excitement, one that kept me reading.

Somehow when everything came out I felt sorry for Rich, but I didn't feel that it was a valid reason for what he did. Likewise I found it hard to believe Holly would leave her loving family, even her grandfather who she adored, simply because he may disapprove.
It all just added up to a tale I found hard to credit, and so I didn't really get pulled in to the story. That's me though, as always others will and do feel very different. Reading and enjoyment of stories is very subjective.

Stars: Three, a story that fell a bit short for me but which may be perfect for you.

Holly has returned home for her grandfather's funeral, and brings her new baby boy with her. Meeting up with her ex Rich, and his mother Lucienda, add a bit of stress, and her friend Fran is determined that she takes one of the dogs she is fostering, a lovable lurcher puppy, who takes an instant protective stance over her three month old son. A good story overall, and one I enjoyed a lot. Only issue I had was the history of what happened and was said when Rich broke up with her and fled, and what his mother said to her afterwards. Never got a clear idea of what happened that made her flee as well. Other than that, I really enjoyed this one and highly recommend it and the author.
