I really enjoyed this book. All set in the fun RV Resort of Cooper’s Charm. Seeing Joy opening up, letting people in so it wasn’t just Joy and her son against the world. She let Maris in, making them sisters of the heart. Then came Royce, the chemistry between Joy and Royce, crazy good. You also get to see the fun dance between Maris and Daron.

This is another home run for Lori Foster! This is the second book in the series. You will fall in love with the characters and most of them are from the first book Cooper’s Charm. You will love the way Joy and Royce have an instant connection and the way he bonds with her boy, Jack, is very special. I also love how the community has a great role in the story and you can really see that the rest of this series is going to be a big hit as the first two books. It’s a perfect love story that you can’t put down until you finish reading it. I can’t wait to read the next one. I received an ARC from NetGalley and this is my honest review.

I enjoyed this better than Cooper's Charm - surprisingly, this found sister relationship felt more heartwarming than the blood sister one in the first book. And Chaos is the most adorable canine protagonist!

3.5 out of 5 wine glasses.

What a fascinating book. I was impressed by the storyline and the characters were all well written and complex. Where there are complex storylines combined with intriguing characters the reader experience is magnified tremendously. To have a book that is well written as well as entertaining is a delight. Reading is about escaping your world and entering another one. The word building was phenomenal in this book. Here I forgot about my own life and was immersed in the world created by the author. I would recommend this book.

Lori Foster’s summer resort romance series continues in Sisters of Summer’s End. This story revolves around Joy Lee (single mom and rec director at the camp) and Royce (new-to-town theater owner). There is a bonus subplot involving Maris (camp store owner) and Daron (handyman).

Joy has been at Cooper’s Charm for five years when the story opens, and her life revolves around her five year old son, Jack. Enter Royce, who purchased the drive-in theater. These two have to face real-life challenges early into their flirtation (relationship comes later). Joy has always held herself apart from everyone (for reasons that are revealed in the story) and lives frugally---completely focused on her son. Royce, who has just watched his mother pass away, is looking for a new start when he arrives in town. The two agree to a fling . . . but we all know how that goes …

Maris and Daron, as mentioned above, have their own story within this story, and it works as a nice addition onto Joy’s story. It also emphasizes the community and family atmosphere of these books---that there are a group of people who have become family to each other at Cooper’s Charm. All in all, this is a great summer read and will have you wishing you could grab a camper and find Cooper’s Carm (oh if only it existed in real life!).

I received an ARC of Sisters of Summer’s End from NetGalley and this is my honest review
Lori Foster does it again what a great story. I was hooked on this story from the beginning. It is a great follow up to Cooper's Charm where we are back at the park.

Everything about this book was fantastic.
From seeing Cooper and Phoenix, Baxter and Ridley , Maris and Daron again and getting to know Joy, Jack and Royce.
Just such a wonderful book. Thank you Lori Foster.
I would recommend this to everyone.

I received an ARC from NetGalley, and this is my honest review. Lori Foster does it again. I enjoyed reading about the "sisters" of Summer's End. Family isn't always blood related. This was a heartwarming story of Joy who lives and works at Cooper's Charm RV resort. She is the single mother of artistic young son, Jack. When she has a meeting with the sexy, tempting new owner of the drive-in, Royce, she questions her "no dating" rule. Marion , owner of the café, also has sworn off love despite the advances of sexy, adventurous, young Daron. We get to follow these two women as they develop not only a friendship but a sisterhood. Just reading Cooper's Charm and Sisters of Summer's End, I am ready to go buy an RV and find a resort. Thank you Lori Foster for another great, uplifting story.

Another fantastic book by the amazing Lori Foster! Joy Lee and her son, Jack, have made Cooper's Charm their home with Joy as the recreational director for the park. Maris Kennedy runs Summers End, the camp store and cafe. Both women's pasts have shaped the women Maris and Joy have become. Both have trust issues and keep others at the periphery of their lives. Maris and Joy begin to bond over morning coffee. As their bond of friendship deepens, Maris and Joy begin to deal with their issues from the past. Maris and Joy push each other to open up to new possibilities concerning the men in their lives. Royce is the new owner of the drive-in theatre that is located new door to Cooper's Charm. When Royce meets Joy, the attraction and chemistry between the two is instantaneous and HOT! Neither Joy and Royce want a relationship. Will Joy and Royce find they want more from each other than a fling? What happens when Joy's parents come back into her life? Will Royce's insecurities with his own past get in the way of his future with Joy and Jack? Daron has worked at Summer's End for several years and is always joking and flirting with his co-workers and park attendees. Daron has wanted Maris for a long time but no matter what he does, Maris turns a cold shoulder to him. Can Daron prove to Maris that there is more to him than the image she has of him? Can Daron show Maris that his feelings for her are real? Will Maris' insecurities about her past stand in the way of her future with Daron? The chemistry between Maris and Daron is explosive. I LOVED Sisters of Summer's End by Lori Foster. I love the sense of family between the people who live and work at Cooper's Charm. Joy and Maris become sisters of the heart as their friendship deepens. Royce and Daron are strong, hunky, caring men who are willing to do anything for the women they love. I would highly recommend getting Sisters of Summer's End. Great book with fantastic characters that will make you smile and laugh out loud. Lori Foster is a MUST read author. I received an ARC of this book, and I am leaving my honest review.

Thank you, Harlequin for our gifted review copy.

This one is cute. While I'm not totally in love with it, I did enjoy it. The female characters are easy to root for and the setting is great. Also, I'm a sucker for a dog on the cover!

I really loved the interplay between the characters in this second book in this series. I enjoyed the inner workings of all aspects of the RV park. I have a whole new view of RV parks. Watching the friendship between Joy and Maris grow and develop was raw at times but so real. It was fun to read how Joy and Royce fell into a relationship that neither intended. The past hurts and events were believable and added so much to the story. The characters were all so real and could be anyone.
I have enjoyed all Lori Foster’s books and series and would love to see even more series like this one. I received an Advanced copy of this book, but this review is completely my own and not influenced by this.

I had trouble downloading this due to my kindle email address because it changed without my consent and some of the books didn’t make it onto my kindle.

What an absolutely fun read.... not only do you get a romance but there are two HEA’s. Two sisters by choice both work for the same RV park doing various stuff fall for two different guys in a fun combinational romance.

What did I like? Author does a great job pulling the romance together since it is two different couples. Royce just bought the drive in and he is paired up with Joy, single mother and activities director. Maris owns the store/restaurant and pairs up with Daron who has been chasing her for awhile. You get two romances in one and an exceptional book. Love that cover.

Would I buy or recommend? Lori Foster needs no recommendations...
If she’s not on your auto buy list then she should be. Always a spectacular read... and all her books come with amazing stories. I love this series.

Thoughts for the author? Congratulations on a brilliant book! Loved it. I look forward to all your books. Thanks so much for a free copy so I could voice my opinion. Five stars.

I’ve always appreciated books that are set in a unique place and Sisters of Summers End along with the first book in this series Coopers Charm are set in a very unique RV resort and campground that Lori Foster admits is based on a real place although the characters are totally fictional. In Sisters of Summers Edge we get two romances for the price of one and while one is definitely the main focus, I loved seeing the second couple also get their happily ever after as well.

Two women, who have worked at the same resort for years, form a bond in this book that is as strong if not stronger than those of blood related sisters as they both navigate new relationships they both never expected and life. This book was uplifting; it was fun, and most of all it left me with a huge smile on my face.

Single mom Joy Lee has worked for over 5 years as the recreation director and events coordinator for Cooper Charm RV resort, she loves her job, appreciates the people she works with, and is devoted to one man in her life, her 5 year old son Jack. Since Jack’s sperm donor left her she hasn’t dated at all which is fine with her until she meets the new drive-in owner Royce Narkirk who makes her body light up like a Christmas tree.

Royce Nakirk has spent the last several years as the primary caretaker of his mother and now following her passing he is ready for a new chapter in his life, one where he is unencumbered. He’s excited about the drive-in he’s bought in a small Ohio town and the fact that the upcoming “off” season will give him plenty of time to work on his very fix it upper house. One thing he doesn’t plan on is meeting Joy, a woman who charms him from the minute they meet or her five year old son who intrigues him.

Stories in which couples agree to a sexual relationship that turn into more are some of my favorites and Joy and Royce were comically the worst and sticking to the terms of their relationship plans. I loved watching how easily they related to one another, how comfortable Royce and Jack were with each other from the start, how Joy let Jack take the lead in his relationship to Royce, and most of all how incredibly sexy Joy and Royce were together alone.

This book had many layers with each piece being an integral part of the story. Joy and Maris after 5 years of working together forming a sisterhood they both so desperately needed. Everyone in the Coopers Charm “family” realizing something big was happening with Joy and supporting her in so many ways. Maris finally giving Daron a chance to get to know her after so many years. Joy realizing she wants more out of life than work and her son. Royce finding a since of family he never really had both in Joy and James and in the Cooper Chance group. So many touching, wonderful, and exceptional moments in this book.

I’ve read Lori Foster for many, many, many years and I’ve loved a lot of her work, and while this series has been a bit different from her norm, Sisters of Summers End and Coopers Charm have quickly become two of my favorites. The relationships (and not just the romantic ones) drive these books and that makes them stand out.

Reviewer’s note: I gave this book 5 stars and I stand by that, but I kept waiting for Royce to share his mother’s art with James as it was mentioned several times he wanted to do so and it never happened. I was a bit disappointed that it didn’t and while it didn’t take away anything from this story (which is why the 5 stars), I honestly wanted to see James’ reaction to seeing a real artist’s work.

This story follows some new characters and some older ones from Cooper's Charm. Joy Lee has been raising her 5-year-old son Jack on her own after being basically disowned by her parents, if I remember correctly she was pregnant with him when she approached Cooper for a job. Her friend Maris Kennedy runs the store at Cooper's Charm's RV park. Both women had tough, although very different, upbringings, and have both managed to survive on their own very successfully. Royce Nakirk has taken over the running of the neighboring drive in, and Daron Hardy has been working at the park as the full-time handyman. Royce meets Joy and there is instant attraction even though neither had planned on getting involved with anyone; Daron has been trying to get Maris to really notice him. Both couples have misconceptions about each other, and it's fun watching them work it out.

Like the first story, there are 2 HEAs in this story; actually maybe there are 3 as Joy begins to rework her relationship with her parents and introduces them to her precious son Jack.

I read this part in hardcopy and part in ARC format, so I don't know if there was anything extra.

I waited so long to read this book and once I got into it, I didn't want it to end. One of those books that you want to read all cozy under a blanket on a cold and rainy day. There's no suspense in this, it's very much so a big 'ole dose of chick lit. Which is exactly what I was working for. I was so caught up in the characters that I wish I could drive down the road to Summer's End, and visit them.

Thank you Netgalley for a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions expressed are my own.

When single mom Joy Lee abandoned her old life to take a job at a lakeside resort, she found something that her family’s wealth and influence could never buy: peace of mind. Not easy to come by for the once-burned divorcée who keeps everyone at a distance. But when her new friend, Maris, dares her to take a chance with the drive-in’s charismatic new owner, everything changes for Joy and her young son.
A difficult childhood has left Maris Kennedy with definite priorities. Her job running Summer’s End, the camp store and café, comes first. Always. Nothing could ever make her risk that hard-won security—especially not her free-spirited colleague. But the more she encourages Joy to open herself up to new experiences, the more Maris begins to wonder what she, too, might be missing.
Learning how to trust will bring Joy and Maris together. And soon they form a friendship that leaves them as close as sisters—and open to love where they least expect it…in Summer’s End.
This was a great read by a great author. I loved both Joy and Maris. I felt that the main story is actually about Joy’s and Maris’s friendship. It was the love they both really needed to have a happy ending. I highly recommend.

I absolutely love the Summer Resorts series by Lori Foster. This story focuses on Joy and Royce as the primary couple and Maris and Daron as the secondary couple. The fact that there are two romantic relationships is wonderful enough in a shorter length novel, but the friendships that are focused on, the building of unconventional family units out of friends, building support systems that see you through good times and hard times, that was beautiful to read. These characters all have different backgrounds and histories, yet they manage to become a family for each other, and an extended family that Joy’s son, Jack, knows he can depend on.

In THE SISTERS OF SUMMERS END by Lori Foster, the two ladies each learn life lesson, discover things about themselves, and become open to love and life. It’s delightful must-read women’s lit that may have you singing a bit too.

I received a copy of this book for a fair and honest review. It has been while since I have reviewed a book by Lori Foster. This is a book about friendship between two women. This is a beautiful story and it kept me turning the pages. Lori does  great job at making the reader engaged in the journey the characters are going on. This is second book in a series and it would be better if you read Cooper's Charm. I look forward to more coming from this series of books.
