Sisters of Summer's End by Lori Foster is a beautifully written and heartwarming read.
I really enjoyed it and loved watching both couples find love and happiness.
The Summer Resort Series has been a joy to read and I highly recommend it.
*Thank you to the publisher via Netgalley for the ARC.*

I absolutely loved this book and had a hard time putting it down.
Sometimes, the people we choose as friends turn out to be more of a family than the one we're born into. Maris and Joy have known each other for years, but haven't been much more than acquaintances until the day they realize they're much more alike than they knew. As the weather turns colder on the lake, two women who have been alone for much of their lives choose to open their hearts to each other and to other possibilities.

Cooper’s Charm was one of the most enjoyable books that I read last year, so I was delighted to read the next entry, Sisters of Summer’s End. While I think the first book is better, I enjoyed this one and also enjoyed getting to catch up with characters from Cooper’s Charm. If there is a book 3, it will definitely go on my must read list!

Royce and Joy. Daron and Maris. Falling in love can be a tricky thing especially if you are not quite sure you are ready for it. But, then again, whoever is ready? Love happens for Royce and Joy-both burnt by things that have happened in their lives. The same is true for Maris who finds she cannot continue to resist Daron. This is such a cute story melding differing personalities into friendship and love at an RV park.
I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I love that Sisters of Summer's End centers around Maris and Joy's growing friendship, plus has the added bonus of two love stories. Royce is perfect for Joy and Jack, and he easily fits in with the tight-knit group of friends in this fun and flirty series. Ever since meeting Maris and Daron in Cooper's Charm, I was curious to see what would happen between them, and I love how their story turned out.
I voluntarily read and reviewed a complimentary Advance Reader Copy from NetGalley.

Sisters of Summers End is the second book in the Summer’s Resort series, written by the wonderful author, Lori Foster. I have really enjoyed Foster’s stories as she has an amazing way with words! She knows how to write a great multi-person POV story without making it confusing. The storyline flows so well and you get to meet more of the tenants (as well as newcomer, Royce) of the Cooper’s Charm Vacation Park!
This one mostly focuses mostly on single mom, Joy Lee, and her adorable little boy, Jack. It also begins the deeper friendship of Joy and Maris, the owner of the little store at the park. This is a wonderful love story as well as an understanding and healing of family. There is some drama, heat, romance, heartbreak, love and healing in this story…in other words…PERFECTION! I love the setting in the Sisters of Summers End… Lori Foster has developed this incredible little community so vividly that I want to move there now! I loved this book so much! It gives you all the feels and at the end, you just sigh and then wonder when the next book in the series will be in front of you. I give this 5 stars and totally recommend it!

Grab your Adirondack chair, a tall iced tea and the Sisters of Summer's End. Both romances were filled with humor and swoon-worthy moments.

Sisters of Summers End
The second in the Summer Resort series, this is the story of two completely different women who learn that family doesn’t always mean blood-related. They each have their own story and romance but develop a lasting friendship along the way. Great characters.
I love the unique setting of the RV park. I always enjoy reading the series about small towns but this gives it a different twist.
Others here have written about the storyline, so I won’t go into it. I will say this is another great summer read. I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Absolute stunner of a book! I thought Cooper's Charm was delightful. If it's possible, this book is even better! I am so enthralled with Lori's characters and the wonderful community that she created. I want to visit and never leave. It was so lovely to read two different love stories in one. She seemingly effortlessly weaved them together and provided readers with a steamy escape from reality, while also making the story so believable. 10 stars!

I love a book that has beginnings, and endings, and surprises somewhere in the middle. This book has hurts, and loves, and healings, and happiness, and sadness, and oh my look out for the karma. It is funny and quirky and even sometimes sad and painful. You can identify with a character whether you are single, married, divorced, parenting, a wannabe parent, rich, poor, outdoorsy, or sophisticated. Most of all it is a feel good, feel good all over again, and feel good one more time book as Ms. Foster ties all the threads up in a nice little bow. I never wanted the book to end.

I really loved this story because there are two HEAs. Two hunky and sweet heroes with two very lovable heroines and two sigh worthy love stories. Not only did I enjoy reading how the relationship between Joy and Royce, and Maris and Daron develop but I also loved how Joy and Maris became closer friends to the point that they became sisters of the heart. A very emotional and sweet story. I loved every moment of it. Such a feel good story. I couldn't help but fall in love with all the characters in Sisters of Summer's End.

This is the second book at this lovely RV resort. The book has two stories going on with the main focus on Joy, Royce, and her 5 year old son Jack. Joy works as the planner for the park and she puts her life’s focus on ensuring Jack has a happy home life filled with unconditional love. This was something she didn’t get while growing up. Royce is the new owner of the drive in movie theater and is working on rebuilding his life, new house, and repairing the drive in theater. These two don’t have time for romance especially with Jack involved and the only men he’s known in his life are the ones that work at the RV resort. There is the secondary story about Maris and Darin that share this undeniable attraction. Maris fights him at every turn because her loyalty is to herself and her business. She doesn’t have time for a younger playboy. Darin is frustrated because he really has true feelings for her and she just cuts him down. This was a wonderful journey about two woman finding true friendship that grows to the equivalent of a sister. They both fight their issues together to hopefully get past the past and move forward. The men have their work cut out for themselves and Royce also has to get past his own personal issues as well. The book had romance, some hot scenes, yet it is a lovely heartwarming story that will have you laughing out loud, smiling, and maybe even leak out a few tears. Well at least I did. I reviewed an advance copy from NetGalley, my review is based solely on my own opinions.

Is there anything better than a happily ever after for romance lovers? How about two HEA's in the same book? Even without any romance, this book would be phenomenal. It's funny, engaging, entertaining and heart warming, all of which makes it an amazing read! Foster’s characters are just enough flawed to make them endearing, and the conflict is authentic and relatable. If that’s not enough, she wraps it in an original, quaint setting and adds in a precocious, adorable five-year-old boy who steals his share of scenes.
Sisters of Summer's End is a direct hit to the heart. A single mother finds her way to Cooper's Charm where an unlikely group of people have cobbled together a family and welcome her and her son with open arms. She's given a job and a place to live, but she still tends to keep people at arm’s length. But life has a way of shaking things up, and Joy finds herself sharing more of herself with store owner, Maris, and accepting help from the new drive-in owner, Royce, as well as others at Cooper's Charm. It’s not long before Joy learns that family isn't made up of DNA but of those who have her back, feed her soul and make a place in her heart.
This, my reader friend, is the quintessential feel-good read. Uplifting and inspiring, humorous and enchanting, and poignant and heartfelt, it's a 1-Click worthy read that you absolutely do not want to miss!

She's a single mom Joy, leaves the old life begins a new job at the resort not wanting her family's money and influence Joy keeps everyone at a distance.. she starts a new life for her and her young son... starting to trust will be something new for her... joy and Maris becoming closer in the end it will work out maybe I'm not going to tell you how this book goes or ends because everyone needs to read this fabulous story to see how this turns out another fabulous book Thank You Lori Foster for all your hard work love your stories... never have read a book of yours that I did not love..
Cooper's charm was also a fabulous book that I loved thank you so much awesome awesome books..

This is a sweet and entertaining (although somewhat predictable) love story. It’s also a bit formulaic but I appreciated the characters and the descriptions of the setting.
Thanks to NetGalley, the author and publisher for an advanced reading copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

OMG, OMG I absolutely love this book. I laughed and cried and I even got a bit angry when I was reading it. Lori knows how to write such a great book. You will truly fall in love with all of this characters, even Chaos. You really must read it! Thank you Lori for such a great book!!

It’s another book with two true love stories inside!! I love it when Lori Foster can make two love stories happen in one book and yet you don’t feel like anything is missing from either story. Both of these ladies have had to fight for something in their past to bring them to be the strong independent women they are today.
Joy wasn’t too hard of a nut to crack, she’s stubborn but she has to be. She has a son to raise by herself, or so she thinks you see Coopers Charm is full of non-blood related family she just hasn’t figured that out yet. I love how Lori Foster always creates family out of friends in all of her books, because honestly isn’t that how it really is in real life? Jack her son is amazing, and adorable, and kind. He really takes to everyone who lives at the RV Park, and I loved that. I loved how he thought the park’s swing set was his own even though it was for the RV Park. Royce was a delight and not just because he had instant chemistry with Joy, but because he connected with Jack. He came to Jack’s level, he treated him with respect. I think he won me over right there.
Maris we met in a previous book (you don’t need to read that one to read this one) and she is an enigma. She works from sun up to sun down, with no down time. Daron keeps trying to insert himself into her space and distract her with his charming smile, and flirtatious attitude but she won’t let it work. I think that their relationship may have been a little more interesting than Royce and Joy just because they were more explosive. I liked that Daron was completely respectful of all of boundaries that Maris set up even when Maris wanted to go back on the deal. I felt bad for Maris’s background but she grew from it and learned and that’s the most anyone can do.
The girl power and friends club is the best in this book, maybe one of the better ones Lori Foster has created. There is a scene and I don’t want to do too many spoilers but someone tells someone they love them with their best girlfriend there. I literally laughed out loud because the scene is hilarious. It’s almost like these two are kindred spirits.

I received an electronic ARC from Harlequin through NetGalley.
I've always appreciated Foster's style of developing secondary characters along with the main ones. This book is no different. The story of Coopers Charm RV Park continues with two separate story lines involving Maris & Daron and Joy & a new character, Royce. As expected in romance writing, their stories do not flow smoothly. Foster weaves realistic situations and challenges together. She pulls readers in to her settings and characters' lives. She shares the thought processes and back stories for her people.
Strong descriptions and three dimensional likeable characters make this book one of her best.

Joy and Maris are co-workers at an RV park. They both work hard, occasionally make small talk but don't let others know them too well. However, enter Royce and Daren and all the other Cooper's Charm characters and as their sisterhood develops so do their relationships with those around them. A fun story of friendship and love as well as showing us the beauty and fullness of life once you let your guard down.

Another winner from Lori Foster! Joy was disowned by her family for getting pregnant and deciding to keep the baby so she's been on her own for several years. Her 5 year old son Jack is a wonderful kid and he's been her top priority so she hasn't dated or even made friends. When Royce buys the drive-in near the RV Park Joy works at they begin a relationship. Joy also lets coworkers into her life and finds out that friends can become your family. I loved everything about this book!
