Sisters of Summer's End was a solid story, with romance, friendship, family we choose, and two couples who deserved a HEA. I enjoyed getting to know Joy and Maris, as they got to know each other. Foster did well with Jack, too - as it's not always children in romances have a real role, and are well-rounded characters.
I found the ending to be a little 'too easy' but I still had a good time with this novel.

I was so happy to return to Cooper's Charm in the second standalone of the series, Sisters of Summer's End. Once again, I enjoyed the ambiance of the resort, and I felt that hint of fall nostalgia as the seasons changed.
Furthermore, I love a single parent romance, and Joy and Royce's romance is absolutely lovely. Also, Jack is adorable.
Maris and Daron FINALLY get their chance at love as well, and I've been looking forward to that since the first book.
***I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy generously provided by the author.***

This book is an example of Lori Foster at her finest. I loved the relationship between Royce and Joy and Jack was such a sweet addition to the dynamic between them. I also loved that in this book Lori included a wonderful strong female relationship between Maris and Joy. I've always loved her male/female relationships but I really enjoyed the female sisterhood relationship in this story. The character development was wonderful, and the characters were so wonderful and relatable. This book was the sweet, funny bright spot during a long winter day. I hope that there are more books in this Cooper's Charm series!!

What a great story of who makes up a family. It's not only the blood that's shared, and sometimes the friendships forged from similar circumstances and understanding result in bonds stronger than blood.
Maris comes from a poor and neglected background while Joy comes from influential people with great wealth. They bond over current situations where they've both learned to stand on their own, without help or support.
In their current jobs at Coopers RV Resort they forge a new friendship being each other's sounding board and in matters of life and love. They learn to support each other, and give opinions to help each other see the complete picture. Along the way there are bumps and they learn how to weather them and that "we all get by with a little help from our friends."
Lori Foster has hit this one out of the ballpark, in my opinion. I hated for the story to end and would recommend it to all her fans and new readers. Although part of a series, this can be read as a standalone story.
I received an ARC eBook from the publisher and Net Galley for my honest review.

A home is not always the house you were born into. Sisters of Summer's End shows how your family can be those who support you in the difficult times regardless of your background. Another delightful story by Lori Foster.

This was a multi layered and wonderful story that was warm and loving.
Excellent characters and dialogue.
Realistic romance development and
Enjoyable fun. I couldn't put it down.
Feels like I made new friends.

What a heart melter! This story was so good and you get to romances for the price of 1! Lori delivers such great stories. I love how she can draw you in and make you want to live in the town the characters are in. And of course, she delivers the steam! Whew the line.... “Not here, not now. But sometime before the end of this afternoon I’ll have your mouth! Bring the fan!!! It’s lines like that that make me a huge fan. They are so believable. And the chemistry is hot! I loved Chaos the puppy too. Lori makes you fall in love with the animals in her stories.

HEA all around
Sisters of Summers End is the second book in Lori Foster’s RV vacation setting of Cooper’s Charm. While there are crossovers of the characters this book reads well as a stand alone story.
I loved this book for so many different reasons. The friendships built between Joy and Maris, two women from very different backgrounds, the family of choice the employees of Cooper Charm made, adorable Jake, and the 2 romances between Joy and Royce and Maris and Daron. It was satisfying to watch as the 4 main characters evolved into stronger multi faceted versions of themselves. This book was a joy to read from the very first page to the final sentence of the book.
I received an advance reader copy via Netgalley.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I loved visiting Cooper’s Charm again. Joy Lee has been building a life with her son Jack determined to make it on her own. Little did she know meeting Royce Nakirk the new owner of the drive-in would change both of their lives for the better. We also got a litter of Maria and Daron’s story so double the pleasure! Lori Foster doesn’t disappoint. I can’t wait for more from this series!!

I love reading about love. After all, it’s what makes the world go round, right? So I’m always a sucker for a good romance. But I especially love when those romances involve stories of loving friendships. Those kinds of friends that become your family, helping you build your dreams, and picking you up when you stumble. Real friends who not only bring fun to your life but also encourage you to take risks. In Lori Foster’s newest addition to her Summer Resort series, a new friendship leads two women to learn to trust and open themselves up to finding love.
Joy Lee was a once burned never again divorcee. She’d devoted her life to raising her young son, Jack. She’d been content with working and living at Cooper’s Charm RV Resort. The few casual friends she’d made, her time with her son, and her work as camp director had been enough. Until she met Royce Nakirk, the new owner of the local drive in.
Royce had spent the last year caring for his mother and was ready to take time to focus on himself. He was restarting his life, getting his act together, re-establishing who he was and what he wanted. That was his plan. Until he met a kid who tugged at his heart and a woman who made him forget he had plans.
Maris Kennedy had worked tirelessly at the Summer’s End camp store for years. After the upbringing she’d had, financial security and independence were her number one goals. She had a set of rules she followed and relying on anyone else was not a part of her plan.
Daron Hardy worked maintenance at Cooper’s Charm. He’d been fascinated with Maris for as long as he’d known her. But no matter how much he flirted with her, she seemed to avoid him. Every time he tried to get closer, she seemed to push him further away. He wasn’t giving up though. If she’d give him any kind of sign she was interested, he’d be there in a heartbeat.
When Maris and Joy forge a friendship, a bond is formed. One where they look out for each other and challenge each other to step out of their comfort zones and take a chance on relationships. Something they’d both denied themselves. What follows is a heartwarming story about the sometimes complicated relationships between friends and family, love, the past, and figuring out what you really want in life.
I loved the overarching stories of Maris and Joy. Two women with their feet firmly on the ground who meet two men that sweep them right off those feet. All the characters were real and relatable. People you’d gladly choose as your friends. The story was perfectly paced and easy to read with some hilarious moments, aww moments, and serious emotional moments. If you’re looking for a juicy, funny, romantic, and uplifting read, you’ll definitely get love drunk on this one.

What a fun book. I loved that we didn’t get just one HEA or one relationship in this book-we got four! Royce has recently purchased the local movie theater with the sole purpose of making it a success and staying free of burdens. Joy is the recreational director at Cooper’s Charm campground and the single mother of adorable Jack. Joy wants to be a great mother to Jack, a successful director and has no time for men or romance. Maris runs the store, Summer’s End, at Cooper’s Charm. Maris provides coffee, cookies and guards her heart closely. Daron works as a groundskeeper at Cooper’s Charm who is carefree, charming and determined to get Maris’ attention. This story gives us wonderful, playful, heart-felt romances, endearing friendships (both male and female), family drama and a boy’s youthful exuberance. There is nothing not to like about this book—way to go, Lori Foster!!

I was wondering where the sisters would come in to play at Coopers Charm RV park since after reading the first book, Coopers Charm, and knowing there was only one set of sisters residing at the park and they had their story line in the first book. After finishing this book I realized sisters don’t have to be defined by blood only. The best kind of family is the ones we pick for ourselves.
Joy has had a single focus in life since she became a mother to Jack. Once her family disowned her, she set out to make a life for her and her baby and almost 6 years later she has found her stride. Living and working at Coopers Charm has been a dream come true, having taken pity on her pregnant self and hiring her on the spot while providing an apartment, Cooper saved her life and soul. These people are her family now and she hasn’t looked back.
Royce has looked to make a change in his life since his mother passed away. Buying the old drive in seemed like the perfect way to escape all of life’s hardships and taking care of himself unencumbered. He never counted on Joy or Jack working their way into not only his life but also his heart.
Secondary in this novel is the story of Maris and Daron. We met both these characters, and got a hint of their flirtation/denial in Cooper’s Charm. Maris is a fiercely independent woman who wants nothing to do with playboy Daron. Or at least that is what she keeps telling herself and anyone that asks. Her body may argue that point with her mind. Daron has pursued Maris for years, knowing deep in his soul that she is the one for him above anyone else. Having her refuse his advances all these years has just made him want her more. When she finally decides it is ok to act on her feelings and still be the independent woman she desires to be, she jumps all in with Daron.
Joy, Royce, Daron and Maris have a romantic fall season at Coopers Charm RV park. They navigate the newness of relationships while trying to maintain so type of normalcy with the lives they’ve come to appreciate. When Joy’s mother makes an unexpected appearance in her life again, Joy needs to reevaluated and make choices that will affect her future as well as Jack’s.
Once again I am taken to a fictional place with wonderful characters that make me want to search them out in real life. The people of Coopers Charm RV resort come together to form stronger bonds than most families will ever experience in their lifetime. 5 out of 5 stars for this wonderful story of friendship, sisterhood and family that I read and reviewed in advance without any expectations. I’m hoping to return to Coopers Charm sooner rather than later, to catch up with these friends who have formed lifelong bonds.

Sisters of Summers End was and excellent read. It was a single mom named Joy who was raising a little boy on her own when things started to change. Besides a man who own the driving movie theater that her little boy Jack was getting attached to along with herself things change again. Her mother shows up out of the blue tell her that her gram has passed. In between all of her conflicts Maris still comes to Joy for there morning coffee talks. Maris life has changed.
Things happen at Cooper's Charm for a reason. Has it has happened it followed from the first book Phoenix fell in love at Cooper's Charm Ridley fell in love with Baxter now the story continues. It is a great book I recommend that you should read it. Lori is an awesome writer and is great at not getting you lost but is great at keeping your attention.
Please if you have a love for love stories I believe this is the one you should try out.

Absolutely loved this romance and how the female friendship was equally as important to the growth of the main character as her romantic relationship.

such a beautiful book. i love this series and all the characters. Lori is great at combining love and realism in all her books. such sweet characters.

For so long Joy Lee's sole focus has been on providing her young son with the life he deserves and her work at the recreation center. Both of which becoming so time consuming that she hasn't given much thought to making friends, or opening her heart to love. But then she meets Maris Kennedy, a camp store owner, and the two quickly form a sister-like bond, one that makes Joy feel like she finally has someone in her corner. They confide in one another, and learn that they both have issues in trusting men, and being brave enough to let one into their lives again. Both quick to say they don't have time for a relationship, when in reality it's just fear of being burnt again.
But then two suitors come into the ladies' lives, and while Maris is quick to push Joy towards drive-in owner Royce Nakirk, she herself lacks the nerve to let Daron Hardy into her life. Love is tricky for Maris due to her difficult childhood, she has an overwhelming fear of being hurt to overcome. But little by little patience, a dedicated man, and unwavering chemistry help to open her mind and heart to the possibility of love.
Joy and Royce hit if off right off the bat, their attraction is electric, but they both have commitment hang-ups. Neither of them are really in the market for anything long-term, but once they start spending time together, they realize that there is something worth hanging onto there. They must find the courage to let their heart take the lead for once, and quiet their nagging love-deterring minds.
Page after page I found myself delighted by Ms. Foster's perfectly penned words and her charismatic characters, Sisters of Summer's End is a can't miss tale! I am no stranger to this author's work, and while I thoroughly enjoy her steamier suspenseful, I must admit I also really enjoyed this newest, more emotional, offering. She strayed a little from her usual path, and brought us a more heartfelt tale about the bonds of friendships, healing, and love. I loved this book and the journey it took me on, it was gave my heartstrings a nice little tug, made me smile, and left me with a renewed sense of appreciation for my friends. If you are looking for a heartwarming book to settle down with this summer, I highly recommend you get your hands on this one, it's certain to touch your heart!
I requested an advanced copy of this title from NetGalley, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion.

This!! This was just so much more than a romance.
Started out very family oriented at a beautiful campground, and I couldn't help but fall in love with the area and the ideals of what a campground could be.
Joy with son, Jack, has lived and worked here for years, enter Royce, new guy in area running the drive-in, and there's chemistry. A lot of baggage on both sides, a lot of uncertainty, to taking some very big steps forward.
Maris, owner of Summer's End and Daron, maintenance engineer, have known each other a long time and the chemistry is there also, but it's laughable the ends that Maris goes to denying it all. Until she doesn't.
Through this all, Maris and Joy find deep friendship, what sister of the heart truly means and sharing everything LoL.
Bonus when Royce finds and keeps Chaos, adding to the awww factor of kids and puppies.
The 2nd in a series, stand alone, started out a smidge slow for me, but necessary, to get all the feels and depth of this dual romance.
Such an emotionally happy ending

This is the 2nd book in the series. I loved Being back at Cooper’s Charm RV Resort.
Joy the single parent to Jack has her mind set on not getting involved with anyone. Then the charming new Drive-in owner Royce comes into her and Jacks world. The “Sisterhood” that Joy and Maris share is heartwarming and entertaining. The way Joy and Maris encouraged each other to go for what they want personally and professionally was refreshing. I have Always enjoyed the way Lori Foster writes a series. I find Myself rooting for past characters to pop in and out of every book she writes. Lori never disappoints in keeping you updated on all her series characters. I was Given an ARC of this book to read and give a honest review. I’m never disappointed after reading a Lori Foster book they just keep getting better!

Such a fun book ! Evolving characters keep you wanting more. Feel good book that leaves you smiling at the end.

“Sisters of Summer’s End” by Lori Foster is book two of her Summer Resort series.
In book one, we met Joy Lee (recreation director) and Maris Kennedy (camp store owner) and in book two, not only do they become the best of friends, they also find their happily-ever-afters. Though, neither of the women claim they have time when it comes to matters of the heart.
For Joy, she is a single mom whose main focus is on her son. The attraction she feels when she meets the new owner of the drive-in, Royce Nakirk, renders her speechless.
Royce, on the other hand, is on board with pursuing their attraction, but it can’t be more than that.
Maris is bold enough to tell Joy to follow her heart, but unable to take her own advice when it comes to handyman, Daron Hardy. Daron, who’s waited for her for a long time, is patient and eager to help her change her mind.
In “Sisters of Summer’s End”, Ms. Foster brings us a contemporary romance with a touch of women’s fiction.
