I'm a huge fan of this author,I love her books so i was so excited to have the opportunity of reading this preview and now I need more!.
I cant wait to read the complete novel

My wish for Helena Hunting's Meet Cute is still pending on Netgalley but I snatched up the free preview and BIG BIG HUGE MISTAKE!!! Omg this book is soooo good and I can't to get my hands for the full copy!

OMG I NEED THIS BOOK IN MY LIFE NOW!!!
I AM HOOKED!!! Helena Hunting had me at the quirky cover and the blurb. I do not usually want to read a preview because I worry to want more. Here I am now intrigued and waiting impatiently to be able to devour the rest of this story in one sitting!!
A must read and what I predict will be another huge success for the fantabulous Helena Hunting!

The title is a common trope used in rom coms the world over. I find it lazy or ridiculous at times, but with it being the title I am hopeful the author knows this trope is cliche and has bigger plans.
This book does take on some pretty serious real world challenges and themes and I am really interested in seeing how they are handled in this genre.
The writing is, as others have said, a little rushed at times, but the story has some interesting characters and an engaging plot. I want to read the rest!

I enjoyed reading the preview and found myself wanting to know what happens! Would love to review the complete book. The only critique I had is I would have loved the perspective from the male character in their law school meeting. You don't know what he is thinking when they first begin the story.

I've been seeing Hunting and her books, especially anticipation over this one, all over Instagram for months. This preview was so cute! I can't wait to read the whole book--it will be my first Helena Hunting book! Now I just have to go and get my hands on her previous books...

Such a great story with the perfect little meet cute. I really love Helena’s writing style and can’t wait for more.

I read the 4 chapter extended preview at netgalley.
Meet Cute is a contemporary romance. The narrators are Kailyn and Daxton (1st person POVs). The book starts with them starting at law school. He was a famous teen actor. And she was a big fan of his hit show.
The next chapter moves forward to five years later. Kailyn is a lawyer and she runs into Daxton again.
I'm normally not a fan of reading previews. But I had been very curious about this book and author. So I decided to try it and see if I liked it.
Overall, I would say that the first four chapters were interesting enough that I would definitely want to continue this story. It was funny, but also had some serious aspects. I am curious to see where the story goes.

I really like the premise of this book, I just wish the setup intrigued me enough. The main character reads younger in the prologue, so when I read they were in law school it felt a little jarring. The story quick gains speed and intrigue as we move into Daxton's chapters. Between the beginning and the habit of telling-and-not-showing, it was a bit of a bumpy read but not enough to keep me from knowing what happens.

Meet Cute has been on my TBR since I first discovered it. Helena Hunting has written a lot of other books, but the only one I've read is Good Luck Charm. It was okay, but I didn't love it. I wanted to read this one because of the synopsis AND the cover. I mean, how cute is that cover? Y'all, this book is the closest thing I've read to The Hating Game (one of my all time favorites). It is the cutest, sweetest, most swoon worthy story about a girl and guy who meet in law school and then reconnect years later when the guy's parents die and leave him in charge of his 13 year old sister. I found myself grinning and smiling and literally laughing out loud at parts-just like The Hating Game.

This preview made me crave for more. An entertaining and engaging book, cannot wait to read it.
Highly recommended.
Many thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for this ARC

ARC of Meet Cute by Helena Hunting ( Extended Preview )
Rating 5 STARS. ( this book is just a preview but I was so quickly hooked I will be pre-ordering it )
Kailyn’s first day of law school is a bit of a disaster. As she is walking accoss the QUAD listening to her pod cast of visualizing her success - she crash lands into a group of guys playing Frisbee ... knocked to the ground - she looks up & can’t believe the helping hand reaching towards her is none other than Daxton ( Dax) Hughes ( her long time childhood crush ) who’s magnetic personality & scorching good looks has her babbling in confusion. Kailyn gets herself to her first class only to find that she is sitting next to Dax & his friends. It’s going to be a long 4 yrs !
Fast forward several yrs both Dax ( in entertainment law ) & Kailyn ( in family law specializing in trusts ) meet again when Dax’s parents hire her to set up a trust for their daughter. ( Dax’s much younger 13 yr old sister )
Just a reminder this is an extended preview only - at least in my case you are left definetly wanting MORE !!
This book is going to be great - cant’t wait to read it !!!

This extended preview drew me right in. I devoured it in less than an hour. It sets up a really cute “enemies-to-lovers” story between Dax and Kailyn. But it was actually a really emotional beginning as well. For me, this is a good sign because it leads me to believe that this is going to be more than just a sweet rom-com. It seems like there is going to be some actual depth here, which is what I like in a romantic comedy. I really loved the law aspect, as well as Dax and Kailyn’s law school rivalry. Emme is also such a great character so far and I can’t wait to see how her relationship with Dax changes over the course of the novel. I will definitely be reading the rest of the novel when it comes out in April. This seems like a perfect heartwarming, romantic read for the summer. Thank you to NetGalley for the extended preview.

This extended preview is the beginning of something spectacular! Once again Helena Hunting delivers! As an attorney Kailyn shouldn't be fangirling like she did as a youth. Good looking child star, Daxton, has to make an unexpected life decision regarding his teen sister and needs Kailyns help. Everyone has an opinion and loads of advice. What are their motives? Is the pull they have real or left over from a better time in their past? A third party may or may not have insidious motives. What will they do?
I loved this beginning and cant wait to read the book in its entirety. From the first paragraph to the last. I felt compelled to continue reading. I need to know how it unfolds.
If you haven't pre ordered this book consider doing it now. You wont want to miss it.

This book started off great and I cannot wait to read the full story! The love to hate trope is a favorite and Kailyn and Dax have it in the bag.

It was as the title suggested, a funny and cute meet cute. The preview just made me want to read more of the book

The extended preview of this book makes it seem like a promising read. The plot is unique and has the potential to create some great, heart-wrenching angst. I did feel like the writing was a bit rushed at times, but overall I liked the author's style of writing. I will most likely check out the entire book once it's released.

A lawyer in need of help, and another still holding a grudge.
The characters have depth, the writing was well executed and overall quick paced and entertaining.
I can't wait to read the rest.

The start of this book was good, it reminded me of The Hating Game, which I loved. I would definitely read the rest of this book when it comes out!

Thank you NetGalley and the publisher for this free preview.
Is it April yet?! This is one of my most anticipated reads and I loved the preview. Can't wait to get my hands on a copy!
