I absolutely love this series! It honestly feels like coming home with each new book and the characters feel like family. Mercy takes on rogue goblins, zombie miniature goats and powerful witches in this installment.

Another solid hit in this series by Patricia |Briggs. Mercy and her friends / pack are going about their lives when they encounter goblins and zombie pygmy goats... Yes zombie goats.... as always Ms Briggs manages to inject humor into her action packed, suspense filled story. Highly recommend this series!

When I am lucky enough to receive an ARC I don't like to spoil too much of the book, but I will say this. Just when you think the Mercy Thompson books can't get any better we get Storm Cursed. This book is fun, quirky, imaginative and packed with action. I can sum this up with three words. Miniature. Zombie. Goats. Just doing what zombie goats do. Loved it!

I received this book in exchange for an honest review.

Another FANTASTIC installment of this series! It was interesting to learn Sherwood's background. I'd wondered about him since he showed up. And, of course, remind all those werewolves that they are not the "be all and end all"...Mercy took care of that. The whole witch storyline was so good!! Can't wait for the next installment. Just love this series!!

Every time I read another installment in the Mercy Thompson series, I keep my fingers crossed for a book that will thrill, delight, intrigue, and cause me to keep reading while neglecting all of my responsibilities. Storm Cursed absolutely hits the mark. Funny, moving, sexy, exciting, and furthering the stakes of the world, I am absolutely devoted to this series and wait ravenously for the next installment.

So good! I didn't want to stop reading. In this 11th book in the Mercy Thompson series, Mercy and gang have to deal with some black magic witches, we see more of the intriguing Wulfe, and....zombies! This is one of my favorite urban fantasies series, and each new one a must read for me.

One by one,
Two by two,
The Hardesty witches
Are traveling through.
With a storm of curses,
They call from their tomes;
They will drink your blood
And dine on your bones.

Set three months after Silence Fallen, Mercy and Adam have settled into a pretty good routine and she's even gotten her garage back. They lead the Tri-Cities and help to keep the peace. As Adam and Mercy work to help the government and the Fae to come to an accord, other more sinister forces come to the area to try and destroy everything.

It all starts with a goblin and some miniature zombie goats. Or maybe they are zombie miniature goats? And then just goes downhill from there.

This may be the most difficult problem Mercy has had to face, and that's saying a lot. Even worse, Mercy will have to ally herself with the one creature she's sworn to avoid at all costs.

This could be rough.

Final thoughts: Nice addition to the series with solid writing and some great moments. I loved learning more about one of the newer characters but I also missed seeing a number of others. The only problem that I have with this universe continuing is that the cast keeps growing and we start to miss out on seeing our faves. However, each new character helps to grow Mercy's story and adds to her, as well as the world itself. Can't wait to read the next.

Rating: 5/5

Thanks to NetGalley for the ARC.

Storm Cursed by Patricia Briggs, Briggs has done it again. Mercy and crew are living life, when yet again weird things start to happen i.e. miniature goat zombies, because really who does that? Yet in Mercy's world it makes sense. Definitely put this one on your TBR list. Now I'm sad I have to wait so long for the next book :)
