Another great book by Susan Mallery. This is the story of 2 sisters- Margot who helps people figure out how to fit in to certain cultures, even though she isn’t that good doing it herself I. Her personal life and Summer who is trying to change her life and the way she has done relationships in the past while being a nanny. Both stories are good in addition to getting 2 love stories. Definitely worth the read.

I loved this book. Mallery knows how to tell a great story. Both Margot and Sunshine were great leads and their strength just wowed me. Their men were great too. You could see them grow into the relationship and bring it together.

I've always enjoyed Susan Mallery's style, especially when she writes romance. When it comes to women's fiction it's a bit different. The writing is still good but she usually goes a little dark.
This particular book reads as two romances in one. Not much is explored regarding the sisters relationship.
Both meat men and fall in love. It was sweet.
Well expect for the part with Declan and Sunshine (the dark part I mentioned earlier). There is something he does (that SM would never include in her regular romance-labelled books but that she loves in her women's fiction) that I truly hated and it pretty much spoiled Sunshine's storyline.
Why why why ???
Otherwise the book was pretty nice. It just left a bad after taste in my mouth.

THE SUMMER OF SUNSHINE AND MARGOT by Susan Mallery is a unique story of sisters looking for love! Sunshine and Margot wanted to change their lives. This story is about making those changes. As with anything Susan Mallery writes this is a five 🌟 read!

This is a strong characterization of two sisters and their life choices. The ability to change one's life and learn to make better choices, while hard, is not impossible. They both chose men who were unlike any other that came before.

As always, Susan has pulled from real life and come out on top. It was a very enjoyable HEA story.

This book was gifted to me by the publisher in return for an honest review.

This novel needs to go on everyone’s summer read list!! The Summer of Sunshine and Margot centers around sisters (fraternal twins) Summer and Margot Baxter, who have both been very unlucky in the love department. The Baxter sisters are looking to make changes in their personal lives so ultimately they will stop picking Mr. Wrong and finally find Mr. Right!

I have enjoyed every single novel I’ve read from Susan Mallery, but this could be my absolute favorite standalone from her! I connected with the characters immediately and because of that fact, I was so excited to see where Susan would take them! My favorite part about Susan Mallery is the way she combines the women’s fiction and romance genres seamlessly!!! The Summer of Sunshine and Margot is perfect summer read- great storyline, awesome characters, and not heavy or dark! I most definitely recommend this book to everyone!

This book is a pleasant quick read. It focuses on two very compatible but different sisters, -Margo and Sunshine, and their pursuit of love. Both sisters seem to feel that they are doomed in the love department. Sunshine has had several nanny positions which she has abandoned on a whim whenever she thought that she had fallen in love. At the start of the book, Sunshine is determined to break her past cycle and go back to school while being a Nanny for Connor who is a very cute and almost too good to true child. Romance comes in the form of Connor's father Declan, who is also resisting the urge to get back into the dating scene after the death of his unfaithful wife. On the other end of town, Margo who is an etiquette coach is starting to fall for the son of her current client. who is an aging attention seeking movie star. Alec is a bright but closed off man who does not like messy emotions. I enjoyed the scenes where Margo tried to coach Alec's mom and how some of those efforts went awry. All in all an enjoyable summer read.

**Thanks to the author and netgalley for the advanced copy of this book. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.**

The Baxter sisters come from a long line of women with disastrous luck in love. But this summer, Sunshine and Margot will turn disasters into destiny…

This is a really beautifully told story about twins who both have disastrous love lives. They individual come to a discussion that they need to change that what they’ve previous accepted needs to change.

Susan Mallory is a brilliant story teller; her characters are likeable and relatable and the settings are always normal (in a good way) I personally love spending the time reading one of her novels. She has this amazing skill to transfer you to a small town in America.

Susan Mallery's The Summer of Sunshine and Margot was a feel-good book. Two sisters find themselves wanting to change past relationship mistakes. Both begin new positions and find themselves dealing with a lot more than they bargained. I would definitely recommend.

I love Susan Mallery's books. Sure Sunshine and Margot have unusual living circumstances and we know from the get-go where this is all headed, but the drive is pretty fun. Even though her characters are often in circumstances the average woman can't relate to, her characters are warm, fun and likable.

I love how Susan Mallery brings families together and showcases the emotions between family members. This story is about 2 sisters and show how they deal with family problems and how they mature through out the book,
My main problem with this book is the sudden switching back and forth from one sister’s story to the other’s. . Because of this the story did not flow as seamlessly as normal I still highly recommend this book to all of my romance readers

Thanks to Netgalley for letting me read this book in return for an honest review

I received this arc from Netgalley for an honest review. I was thrilled to get the newest Susan Mallery book and it did not disappoint. I loved both main characters, Sunshine and Margot and enjoyed each of their stories. I had a hard time between rushing through the book and savoring it, but in the end, I just couldn't put it down. Great story, excellent settings and even better characters.

The switching back and forth from one sister’s story to the others made it difficult to really flow in the book. This is in chapters and just seemed odd. The sex scenes, of course, took away from from the story not made it more interesting at all. The book was just ok for me.
Thanks, NetGalley for the arc for review.

Susan Mallory has proven to be an excellent storyteller utilizing the best aspects of both women’s fiction and contemporary romance. Sunshine and Margot are both on a mission to change their lives and past behavior. Their characters seem completely different but perfect as two sisters with their own separate appearances & personalities. The strong family connection & love are apparent throughout all of their interactions. They are there for each other, uplifting through both good & bad times. Their jobs & education are very dissimilar but it shows the different ways they reacted to their past. The men in their lives are enriched by their presence & the readers can see how they grow & change in the relationships. While I’ve enjoyed Ms. Mallory’s story telling in her Fools Gold series, this book takes it to the next level. Everything is deeper & more meaningful. This was not a book to race through but one to take your time with & savor.

An interesting story about two sisters. Very intriguing incite into the difference of twins and how their lifes developed. You'll find yourself unable to put this book down. Can they change their lives from their grandmother's and mother's. You'll love how they support each other.

Susan Mallery fans are sure to consider this one of her best books ever. Once again, she highlights the positive, close relationship between two sisters as they both explore ways to learn to overcome the mistakes they've made in the past and go on to live better lives. Uplifting without being preachy. Really enjoyed this book.

Susan Mallory is one of my go-to authors. She didn’t disappoint with The Summer of Sunshine and Margot. A very good read that focuses on the relationship between sisters, and how their lives change by new positions at their jobs. I received an ARC from NetGalley and the publisher in exchange for an honest review.
