This is Travis and Georgie book, Travis is an ex MLB player they got traded to different teams almost more than he changed his socks! His baseball career ended with a bad injury, now he knows just like his father always told him he'll never amount to anything! His best friends little sister Georgie comes over to snap him out of his stupor! They've all been friends since childhood but Georgie always had a secret crush on Travis ! This book was good definitely worth reading but not my favorite of Tessa, it's a little low on the heat chart , it was funny and has a good story line but was just missing something for me! Thank you Netgalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me! I love Tessa books!! She's such a sweetheart I've met her a bunch of times at different signings I will definitely continue to read her books!

This was a super cute book! I really enjoyed the romance between Georgie and Travis. Georgie was such a lovely heroine. I look forward for reading Dominic and Rosie’s story. Thank you to netgalley for the ARC.

As the youngest sibling and (literal) clown of the family, Georgie Castle is used to no one taking her seriously. But when longtime crush and former childhood friend Travis Ford is back in town, she sees a chance to convince her family that she's all grown up by embarking on a fake relationship with him. Fix Her Up is all about rebuilding and empowerment, both in Georgie's love life and self-esteem and Travis's attempts to become a better person. I loved the steamy romance, but even more, I loved Georgie's flying feet first attitude to growing up. Highly recommended for fans of Sally Thorne and Christina Lauren!

"Fix Her Up" is the story of Georgie Castle and her long time crush, her brother's best friend (Travis). After Travis is injured, Georgie makes it her personal goal to bring him back to the land of the living. When Travis needs help cleaning up his wild image, Georgie is happy to help....and maybe scores some action on the side. This book is funny, endearing, and admittedly a little more spicy than I expected. If "dirty talk" in bed isn't your thing, you might want to skip it, but otherwise this isn't a story to be missed.

Fix Her Up is such a great read. Georgie is a fun woman who grows up throughout this story. I love how both Travis and Georgie help make each other stronger and more focused on their goals. Travis is a former baseball, player struggling to get back on his feet. Georgie is perpetually stuck in the little sister role in her town. I love how they make each other better. Their relationship is very well written and romantic,

I surprisingly enjoyed Fix Her Up. Sure, the storyline is predictable, but I enjoyed it all the same. And romance novels with the fake dating trope are always a win in my book. Georgie and Travis are cute, and they have sizzling chemistry. However, I could not get past the clown thing... Georgie being a professional clown was just weird. Overall, it was a light, cute read, and I’m curious to read more of Tessa Bailey’s books.

This was just an amazing read!! Georgie Castle is the youngest in the Castle clan, and is often overlooked and always seen as the kid sister that no one takes seriously. It doesn’t help that she’s a children’s birthday clown. Travis Ford is a former professional baseball player and womanizer with the nickname “Two Bats”. Travis has the opportunity to become a commentator for a baseball team, but he needs to shed his past ways and be seen as a family centered and likeable guy. Georgie devises a plan that requires them to be a fake couple to help her be seen as more of an adult and show that Travis is a one woman man. The only hiccup is that Georgie has been in love with Travis since she was a kid.

Who knew I could relate to a clown so much? Every disappointment that Georgie receives, you feel it immensely. I was on the verge of tears for Georgie in the beginning of the book. She was an incredibly likeable character and I wanted the best for her from the beginning.

Tessa Bailey is a master at creating a strong and unique female protagonist with a blend of sassiness, vulnerability, and inner strength that have readers connected and invested from the very beginning of a novel. In this novel, Bailey extended her craftsmanship to the male protagonist with many of the same elements of vulnerability and toughness. The stellar character development, interesting family dynamics, flawless story pacing and conflict evolution, and the complex relationship between the main characters all weave together to create another Tessa Bailey masterpiece. To be honest, you can never go wrong when you purchase a Tessa Bailey novel.

Five swoon-worthy stars!

Tessa Bailey brought the HEAT yet again with another winner. In true Bailey style, she put together two destined hotties in a delicious romp! I loved the story (who doesn't love a childhood crush turning into something more?) and the love scenes were SO HOT!

I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

There was a lot of potential for this story. Fake dating tropes are always my weakness but about halfway thru the book I lost interest. I blame the background characters. They took me out of the story and I felt it didn't add anything to the story when they were around. The romantic leads were fun but I didn't feel much when the happy ending was presented. I was entertained but I was also indifferent at the end.

I loved this book. Travis has always doubted his worth and Georgie has always had a crush on him. Watching as Georgie shows Travis the man he can be was moving and emotional and funny and very hot. I wish I could read it for the first time all over again.

Don’t let the drawn, cutesy cover fool you, Tessa Bailey brings the heat with Fix Her Up. Her first book in a new series.

Georgie wants to be taken seriously by her family and seen as an adult. Travis needs respectability to be considered for a broadcast position after his baseball career and his playboy ways come to an abrupt halt. Bring on the fake girlfriend/boyfriend.

Georgie embarks on a plan to redo her image. New clothes, new hair, new business plan.

Georgie, her sister and a friend start the Just Us Club.

“The point of this club is to support and encourage each other. Yes, we’re also taking a firm stand against the men in our lives being dicks and leaving them behind if necessary, but we have to give new men a chance to be dicks before shun them.”

This club and the support these women give each other is as essential to this story as the romance of Georgie and Travis. This is the idea that will bind this book series together.

If you’ve read Tessa Bailey books before you know she has lots of sexy time with some raw language. That may or may not be to your taste, but in Fix Her Up she writes characters that show real growth and maturity as the story develops. She writes main and supporting characters you begin to really care about. The story is engaging. The banter is charming and witty.

Cannot wait to read the next book in the series.

Thank you to NetGalley and HarperCollins for the ARC

This was a cute and quirky romance between family friends and brothers best friend, Travis and Georgie. Georgie is a strong and independant woman in her early 20's. She has just bought a house in hers small town and the book opens with her having a food fight of sorts with Travis as he is very upset about being dumped from playing baseball because of an injury.

Georgie has loved Travis forever and this is her story how they fake diet to get everyone off their backs. It was cute, and fun and Georgie was a really fun character.

Tessa Bailey has created an adorable romance book with clowns, a brooding hero, and a family dynamic that you will want to be apart of. I loved our heroine, she was the kind of feisty and weird that feels refreshing but also relatable.

The ARC of this book was provided by the publisher via Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.

This was my first Tessa Bailey novel, and I must say it was pretty adorable. The washed-up baseball star hero and children's entertainer heroine strike up a bargain to pretend to date. Each has their own reasons for a fake relationship, but it's not as easy as they think it'll be.

The only things I didn't like: Travis constantly refers to Georgie as "baby girl," which is probably supposed to be endearing but comes off as a little misogynistic and condescending. And Georgie has a bit too much manic pixie dream girl in her DNA (she's literally a professional clown, and she spends a lot of the book trying to save Travis from himself...). But for the most part, I enjoyed their story. Looking forward to the next in the series!
