All It Takes is the second installment in the Romancing Manhattan series. However, you can easily read it as a standalone. Quinn and Sienna meet as opposing attorneys but have some notable chemistry right away. I love them as a couple. It addition to the developing romance, there is an undercurrent of deceit going on regarding a piece of property that is supposed to be left to the city as stated in Sienna's grandfather's will. Tied in with all of this is a definite mystery as to who all is involved with trying to undermine this. This was a fun book to read with some sexy times thrown in. I really am looking forward to reading others in the series.

Thank you to NetGalley and Harper Collins for this ARC in exchange for an honest review.

If you are looking for a quick fun and romantic read All It Takes , is for you. We all know KP is never going to shy away from giving us these romantic guys whom we all swoon over. And people Quinn Cavanaugh, does not disappoint. He is loyal to his family and married to his families law practice. Never looking to settle down Quinn, just wants to take care of him mom and continue to he a workaholic .
Sienna Hendricks, on the other hand is a 9-5 lawyer, she wants her free time to paint and see her family. Upon the reading of her recently deceased Grandfather's will Sienna, is thrown into the case that will change everything she knows. A case that goes back 100 years between her great grandfather and Mr. Cavanaugh's client. Never one to back down Sienna, is determined to win this case and keep her grandfathers wishes in tact.
When you have people who hate to lose and one is for sure she is right, this simple open and shut case, is going to rock their worlds.
This is a really great addition to the Romancing Manhattan series, these are standalone book, but I would suggest reading book 1, just so you are familiar with the characters . NOT A MUST, but they are sooooo GOOD!

A fast paced fun and delicious book with really well developed characters and a plot that delights. Loved meeting these characters and can't wait to read more in this series!

Sienna does not believe her grandfather would have willing his land to the city. No way. She goes to court to prove it and finds herself ordered by the judge to work with Finn, the opposing counsel, to go through boxes and boxes of documents to sort things out. An unusual (btw) approach from the bench but one that works for this light, fun romance between two strong and smart individuals. Finn's big on family. I didn't read the first book but that's ok because while the earlier book was about his brother, the characters are so nicely fleshed out here that it didn't make a difference. The romance builds slowly and you get both of their points of view (love that). Thanks to Netgalley for the ARC. A good one if you are looking for an HEA!

I loved these two characters and their story! I loved how their connection grew into something deeper and the secondary characters made it amazing too! I can't wait for the next book!

This is the second book in the Romancing Manhattan Series and can be read as a standalone. I haven't read the first book and although the characters from the first book do make appearances, I was able to enjoy it without feeling lost. That being said, I do want to read All the Way because I found All it Takes to be a fun, flirty, sexy quick read and perfect if you're looking for light contemporary romance. I loved Quinn and I always enjoy a female lead who is strong-willed and smart and Sienna is quite feisty! Looking forward to Carter's book. I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC for NetGalley.

Thanks to Netgalley & HarperCollins publishers for the free ARC in exchange for an honest review.

I’m enjoying this series more than I expected (I’m a lawyer and I tend to nitpick lawyer series). Quinn & Sienna are both lawyers forced into an unlikely situation - opposing counsel working together to figure out whether a promissory note from over 100 years ago has been paid. While they manage to keep things professional at first... sparks fly!

This was just a fun, easy read - I really enjoyed it!

I enjoyed this book a lot! Two lawyers get thrown together on a case, since it dats back over a 100 years. They end up spending a lot of time together, on and off work and of course end up falling in love. Makes for a sweet, fun, sexy read. This book had a good flow to it, where everything happened as it should. This was book 2 in the series but can be read as a standalone. I even liked it more than the first. *arc provided by netgalley for honest review

I’ve read a few of this authors books, and have enjoyed them overall, so I was excited to read her new book that was up for review. All it Takes is about two attorneys that are on opposite sides of the bench, both high powered attorneys, Quinn has his own law firm, Sienna works for the city attorneys office. When Sienna’s grandfather passes away, Quinn is sent to represent a client who says he owns a piece of property that the grandfather has willed to the city, a fact that the family strongly denies, so it’s taken to court where Sienna represents her family, and Quinn represents the man who has brought the allegation front and center, the judge strongly suggests that the two attorneys work together since the files go back over 100 years, and they don’t have a lot of time to get the information needed to decide the case. This story develops very quickly between Quinn and Sienna, might be the first issue I have with it. The story just doesn’t flow well, something that surprised me with this author, I found myself skipping over sections because it was just boring and repetitive, again not something I usually do with any author I read let alone this one. The story was rather predictable, although there was one surprise at the end, but overall it was just okay for me. Loved the premise of the book, but would have liked to had a bit more development in the overall storyline to give it more interesting depth. Would love to find out what happens with Carter and Nora.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.

Great story with a great couple. Sienna is a down-to-earth type working as a city attorney. Quinn is the typical hot, sexy, confident attorney who loves his life in the fast lane. When these two have to work together to solve a mystery over 100 years old they, realize they might have a lot more in common than they thought.

Both Sienna and Quinn were likeable characters with a family base that felt genuine with love and concerns everyone face. Their attraction was sweet and flowed naturally, not feeling forced or unrealistic. I loved how they were as a couple.

The lawsuit that brings Sienna and Quinn brings along intrigue and a tad of mystery as well as control and manipulation.

All It Takes is a fantastic read thta I highly recommend.

Thanks NetGalley and HarperCollins

A fun read just in time for summer, though perfect for any time of the year. It was such a wonderful change and experience to read about two strong, smart people who are living happy fulfilled lives before they found each other. Neither one is floundering without a relationship, desperately looking for “someone to make them whole” or putting their lives on hold until the “right one” comes along. They are both in successful careers, have great friendships and not sitting at home waiting for Mr or Mrs Right. They are the unicorns of happily ever after books... whole functioning adults. Through some nefarious events by Siennas father and uncle she meets Quinn and they meet and are forced to work together. They form a bond and only want to make each other better versions of themselves, through respect, friendship, concern for each others well being and eventually love.. Even when legal circumstances force secrecy they ultimately manage to act as mature adults and work it out to share a lovely happily ever after. This is just fun smart read that will make you smile. Enjoy!!

The book is the second in a series, and maybe I would have loved it more if I had read the first book. The whole back and forth banter between the lawyers and giving in to the inevitable chemistry was good. But it was missing that certain spark for me. Fine, enjoyable, but could have been more.

Kristen Proby has spun some magic again. I loved All It Takes! The characters are very lovable, and the plot has enough twists to leave you wanting to know what happens next. I couldn’t put it down. I can’t wait for the next book!

Kristen Proby is a new author to me, so I was delighted when I received an ARC from Netgalley to review All it Takes, book 2 in the Romancing Manhattan series. Of course, I had to catch up, and was so glad I had book two, ready and waiting for me when I finished the first book in the series. One thing I always appreciate in a series is when the author ties in prior story lines, so you can continue to learn about what previous characters are doing. In this “chapter” of the story, we have the opportunity to meet Quinn and Sienna, who both share the role of an attorney, only on opposing sides. They are forced to work together to meet the same end goal, which has a personal meaning to Sienna, and come upon opposition from a surprising source. To me, this book was more about the shared intellect and passion for their roles, and not just the physical aspects of attraction. Overall, this was a great read and I am looking forward to reading the next part of this ongoing story.

This is the second installment in this series, I didn't know that but I was not lost I just wished that I had started from the beginning and maybe I would have enjoyed more, please do not think that I didnt I did I just felt thaaaat something was missing so I do plan to go to read the first book and see if I am missing something so that goes to show you that had I not enjoyed it somewhat I wouldn't have even bothered. So we meet Sienna whose grandfather past away and left her a family park. The judge orders her to work with the opposing counsel which she did expect nor wanted since she wasn't sure how she felt about Quinn. There is history with their families and now there is going to be more since they are about to find out more history between them they were not aware of..What happens? Grab a copy

This is the second book in the Romancing Manhattan series, I did not read book one prior and was totally fine.
Quinn is an attorney who is representing a client who is trying to prove ownership of a park and comes in contact with Sienna. Sienna is also an attorney and she is out to prove the park belongs to her family fair and square. The case is a hundred years old and the judge tell them to work together to get to the bottom of things. The chemistry between the two are undeniable. I loved how was Sienna was strong independent and determine to e respected and make her own way. I loved how Finn was a workaholic because he loved his worked. I thought that the story dove right and kept that pass throughout. Quick easy read just in time for summer!
