I enjoyed this e-magazine! I got some really good recommendations from it, and the reviews were kind of funny/snarky, which I enjoyed. I would definitely purchase future issues.

A great magazine format with lots of reviews, recommendations and author information. This issue has an interview with Anna Bradley. Reviews and talks about books being showcased in film and television. A good format and easy to read. Good for all readers who are interested in romance books and adaptations. I received a copy of this ARC in exchange for a fair and honest review.

Another complex and fruitful read!

As I've previously asserted, the breadth Romantic Intentions covers is exceptional. "From written word to film types featuring an overwhelming array of the romantic in various genres. Historical romance through to SciFi."
If you're an eclectic reader as I am from the Brave to the Brash, from the Raw to the Awe, and in this edition, a cad thrown in, then this magazine is for you.
Great review article by Kate Nagy on romance in Dickens' novels with some interesting revelations about the cad Dickens really was in his personal life. Oh my!
An informative interview with Anna Bradley by Rachel Hyland, looking at Bradley's publications and their inter-relativeness. Well worth the read!
Want to delve more into works by Grace Burrowes, Sarah MacLean and Mirandah K. Pennington? Then Kate Nagy's essay, The Tom Hardy Files - Three Different Books about Three Different Toms, is for you.
I do so enjoy browsing this magazine. Great for returning and reliving!

Fun read for the romance reader

I found the 4th issue of Romantic Intentions Quarterly very entertaining. From a story about favorite author Debbie Macomber to the blast from the past review of My Man Godfrey and all the other articles there is definitely something for everyone to read and enjoy. I particularly enjoyed the Have You Read? feature, finding old reads I’ve loved and new books to read.
I received an advance reader copy via Netgalley.

Very disappointed in this. I was hoping for something similar to the old Romantic Times magazine. This was nothing like it. I wanted a magazine that would give ratings to upcoming books. I used to rely on the Romantic Times to help me keep track of upcoming books. This doesn’t do that. There was very little information that was helpful to me.

I find myself looking forward to this publication each time that it becomes available. It is packed with content about all things having to do with romance. There are reviews of books in every sub-genre of romance that you could ever imagine, along with reviews of tv shows and movies, updates of what is coming out in various media and some interesting articles. It is definitely worth a look.

Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the latest edition. The opinions are my own.

I really enjoy these digital magazines as you get a wide overview of a variety of books, films and TV programs, all based around romance.

Even though there are some genres I'm not interested in (science fiction), there was still plenty to keep me interested and make a note of to read/watch. There are reviews of books, films and TV series, and interviews with various authors. Even if you may not know some of the authors the interviews are still very interesting. Not all the reviews are about current books/films either which is nice, as it gives you a chance to maybe catch up on items you may have missed.

There were definitely a few books I've made a note of that I want to read (particularly Kat Martin's new 'Maximum Security' series and a new author to me Jamie Raintree and 'Midnight at the Wandering Vineyard'), and the fact that Netflix are now due to film Robyn Carr's Virgin River series is something I most definitely am interested in, as it's one of my favourite book series ever. I shall be waiting with bated breath for more news!

Really interesting magazine and well worth a read. I look forward to the next one.
