I picked up books 2 and 3 in this series when I saw all 3 were on Netgalley. Unfortunately, once I requested 2 and 3 I couldn't find 1. I read the first dozen chapters several times and although the writing is engaging, I wasn't able to figure out what had happened in book 1 or what was new to book 2 and I was just confused. I didn't finish =(
