29 Seconds is all it will take. Just give me a name. Could you/would you do it? How desperate do you have to be to make this decision? Those questions and so much more...
My thanks to Netgalley and St Martin's Press for this advanced readers copy. This book is set to release in September 2019.

The beginning of this book put me off as a young woman is forced to deal with an evil predator who seems to be untouchable. I definitely warmed up as the story continued. The plot twists and turns as each new effort to escape leads into deeper danger. I couldn't see the end coming, but it definitely made the story worthwhile.

This is a very tense and fast paced psychological thriller that had me on the edge of my seat for one wild and crazy ride. I found the storyline to be original (at least from books I've read in the past) which was a nice change of pace. I enjoyed it very much! I had to keep reading once I started because it sucked me right in and I just had to know what was going to happen.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher ARC

What would you do if someone offered to take care of any problem you had and all it took was a 29 second phone call? Sarah saves a little girl from being kidnapped but has no idea who her father is. He is a rich powerful man and offers to take care of any problem she has if she calls a certain number. Sarah's boss, Dr. Hawthorne is an awful horrible man. Should Sarah call the number and have her boss "taken care of" or can she continue as she is. This was quite a thrilling ride and I liked Sarah but I absolutely hated her boss. I received an advanced readers copy and all opinions are my own.

The story was definitely pushed you to hate the character Hawthorn. In today’s environment and the me too movement, it certainly portrays the situation that many women have found themselves in over the years.
I think the interesting question - if you could make someone disappear without consequences would you - is a great premise for the issue the lead character was dealt. Unfortunately, there was a lot of unbelievable towards the last quarter of the book that disappointed me.

29 Seconds is a psychological thriller with a unique premise. Imagine, you save a child's life. In return, you say the name of one person you want gone from your life, and it's done. One 29 second phone call has this unquantified power to make your life better. It's a life changing decision. Of course, there are inevitable moral repercussions to consider. But, you earned this gift, so what's the harm? Would you name one person to be permanently removed from your life? This story is engaging and thought provoking. It's certainly a debatable question with answers that are not necessarily right or wrong. What would you do? Thanks to NetGalley for an arc in exchange for an honest review.

29 Seconds was a fun to read thriller that made me wonder what I would do in this situation. In this story, Sarah a young professor who finds someone offering her a deal after she happens to save their child's life. The deal is, they will make one person in your life disappear without a trace with just saying their name, but you can never mention it to anyone. Do you do it?
The events in the beginning were a bit unusual, but it was a fast-paced thriller once it got rolling! I enjoy stories that make me wonder what I would do if this was my life.
I would definitely read more from Logan!
Thank you to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for this ARC, my opinions are my own.

I really liked this book, I was very surprised at how it had ended, had a few twist and turns in it, but not sure why they even wrote the husband in the story line , all they did was mention him , but he wasn't really of any worth talking about , they could have left him out of it. but it was a good book, quick read.

Would you make one phone call for 29 seconds and a person would disappear forever? This is the choice that Sarah has to make. Twists, turns, and choices.

Sarah, the protagonist, saves a little girls' life and receives one favor from her Russian mafia dad to repay the debt. What should she choose, if anything?
I enjoyed this book, the short chapters, the quick pace. I did not like the ending, personally, but I understood why it went the way it did.
There were definitely lots of twists and turns, and I enjoyed seeing Sarah make her choices and watching her character develop through her tough situations. Quick read, edge of your seat, very good!
Thank you for the arc Netgalley!

I am very conflicted about this book. It started off really interesting and at a fast pace, but after a few chapters it rapidly went downhill. To begin with, I had no idea the desperate situation the main character had with her boss was sexual harassment. The instances of the harassment were more frequent and in more detail than I thought were really necessary. I got tired of reading about them and just how powerful her pig of a boss was. Which leads to my next problem, how weak and whiny the main character was. Instead of doing something, anything, to fight back against this guy, since there were other women aware of the problem, she chose to complain to her friends and feel sorry for herself. At the beginning of the book we learn that her husband had recently run off with his mistress. Again, instead of writing the bum off, maybe filing for divorce, she considered taking him back; even though he never returned her calls or was of any help or support to her at this time! It is frustrating to have a main character you want to sympathize with but who is so weak.
Then, almost halfway through the book, we finally get to the eponymous 29 seconds. I did enjoy how that came about. A dangerous man repaying his debts brought some much needed excitement to the book. But, unfortunately, it didn’t last very long and then we were back to Sarah’s worrying and whining.
The only thing keeping me going was that I did like the actual plot and, despite everything, I wanted to know how this book ended.
The plot was intriguing but I found the characters to be flat and one dimensional. I think the book would be good for a book club because there is a lot to discuss. It is a fast read but it is also a bit of a grueling read at times because there are just so many scenes of sexual harassment.
My thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for the opportunity to read and review this book.

29 Seconds by T.M.Logan is a psychological thriller that kept my attention from the first page to the last

I will review on Amazon Sept 10, 2019
I received 29 seconds from NetGalley in exchange for my fair and honest review.
This was my first book by this author, I found it to be well written and a thrilling read. How quickly can your life change in 29 seconds, well in this book it can change pretty quickly. Hawthorne was a first class creep, and just thinking about him makes my skin crawl. Overall i found the storyline to be original and had plenty of twists and turns. I look forward to reading more books by this author. I would certainly recommend it to others.

Not the first book I’ve read by this author, so I knew - or rather hoped - I was in for a treat. And indeed I was. Thoroughly enjoyable - one of those reads where you don’t realise where the time is going. Highly recommended.

Thank you for the ARC.
I read Lies by this author and liked it. I was interested in reading his new book.
29 seconds is just as good as Lies. It kept me on the edge of my seat. Very thrilling and compelling read. Unexpected turns and twists that I didn’t see coming.

This book was awesome! Sarah is a young professor whose career is at stake if she does not give in to Alan Hawthorne, the revered scholar and master misogynist. Hawthorne is arrogant, powerful and dangerous. He can and has destroyed women who will not give in to his sexual advances.
Sarah finds a way out, takes it, but it doesn't go exactly as she had planned. I read this book over 24 hours and was on the edge of my seat the entire time. The suspense was gripping and nothing went as I predicted. This was a great read.
I will also note that I just presumed as I made my way through this novel, that the author was a woman. Wrong on that too!

What a tense and fast paste psychological thriller with a lot of twists and turns. Sexual harassment in work is very difficult and hard subject. I am glad that T.M. Logan talks about this problem in his book. Very good writing and great ending.
Thank you to NetGalley and St Martin’s Press for a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

I enjoyed this book. It was a quick easy read. Thank you to Netgalley for the ARC. What would you do if you could do away with someone and no one will know..?

Logan is one of those authors I’ll definitely be adding to the grab when you see new books list! He is just so good at keeping the twists, chills, thrills, and even disturbing mind spinning plots strong in his books. This book started strong and ended strong, like lies it sort of dragged mid way, but not for long! I highly recommend this book to my fellow thrilled fans!
I will highly recommend in Chapter Chatter Pub!

I received a free e-copy of 29 Seconds by T.M. Logan from NetGalley for my honest review.
Wow, what a crazy and thrilling read!
Sarah, a mother of two children, works at the University with Dr. Alan Hawthorne. Dr. Hawthorne is a disgusting, sexist man who finds a way to get what he wants and has been doing so for many, many years. Unfortunately, Sarah is next on his list. He tells Sarah that unless she gives him what she wants, she won't get her promotion she has coming up.
Sarah doesn't now who to deal with the situation at hand. Then she witness' an attempted kidnapping in which Sarah's actions lead to the girl escaping. The girls father is very thankful and offers her an opportunity to get rid of her problems. All Sarah has to do is give him a name and he will make that person disappear without a trace. What would you do???
