I cannot tell you how much I wanted to love this book, and the author clearly put a lot of time and love into his story - to be honest I feel like I missed a lot having an ebook copy of it. The story itself was epic - and I love now it include myth, literary legends, politics, and ethics - but something didn't quite connect for me. Maybe it wasn't quite in depth enough? I'm not sure, but it was a fun read, that had twists turns, and some heart full moments.

Did not review this in 2012 via NetGalley because it was provided in a format that I could not read.
