This was my first book by this author, and I went into the book completely blind but very excited about where the story line might lead given the title of the book. Unfortunately, I found myself struggling with the plot and I found myself skimming ahead for the more important aspects of the book. I couldn't really find a connection with either of the main characters. The writing was well done, but I just didn't connect with the story this time around.

Oliver Connely has always been a disappointment to his parents despite making it big in the modelling world but now his jobs are drying up and he hasn’t planned ahead to give himself a cushion. Luckily his best friend Skye is keeping him afloat which embarrasses him greatly. Listening to some bored housewives discussing their favourite romances gives him the inspiration to start a new venture when he plans to fulfil his customer’s book fantasies. One of his first clients is Bailey Hardin who worms her way into his heart. Things start to get heated as he finds out more about her husband and his political career which somehow involves his best friend. This story was completely different to what I expected and certainly wasn’t predictable. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

I’m so disappointed in this book. The cheating wife with Oliver is awful. Can’t stand books with cheating spouses and this didn’t just happen but the wife went after Oliver many times and that doesn’t make for a good story. Then you add in male prostitution to the mix and this story takes a turn for the worse. I was hoping for something fun and original but this is neither. Cheating spouses, lying, prostitution all under false pretenses. I made it to chapter 10 and gave up because this was just an awful book.
