This is the loveliest book with classic nursery rhymes. The embroidery is fantastic and magical! I have to admit I could not help buy sing along to some of them as they were bringing back memories.

What makes this book standout is the amazing embroidery illustrations. You can find hundreds of books with these nursery rhymes, but it will be hard to find one as beautiful as this one.

My baby is used to watch most of rhymes in YouTube. She loves colors and music. I admit, I’m terrible singer. I’m used to reading to her random things, sometimes, novels too but this was first time I sang her rhymes and I must say it was fun reading to her.She loved Twinkle Twinkle, Baa Baa Black Sheep, Humpty Dumpty, Old MacDonald, Are You Sleeping, and The Wheels On The Bus.

All rhymes were cute and nice, some I knew and some were new to me. They were short, took little time for me to finish. I didn’t read her everyday, like title suggests, I read all of them in one day. If you don’t remember all rhymes from your childhood and you want to sing to your kid with a colorful book and cute illustrations, I recommend this book. It can be a nice gift for new mommies.

As I was playing some rhymes on YouTube before I read this book, I could see some rhymes in this had lesser verses, some had only 1 verse.

This reminded me of a book someone gave me when my first was born. Wonderful collection of basic nursery rhymes that set a nice foundation for literacy. Charming illustrations. But overall not what I was expecting.

This book brings it together to share with your baby.

What a lovely book and perfect gift for a new parent. There are 30 favorite nursery rhymes in this collection. Each is accompanied by an appealing illustration. The rhythmic quality of the poems is perfect for young listeners and the reader will enjoy spending time with old favorites.

The illustrations in this book are exquisite! They are whimsical embroidered designs, and a variety of colored backgrounds are used, which adds additional color throughout the book. The selection of nursery rhymes included is a good, broad selection, and the versions used are fairly standard or quite close to the more common versions. Several words were different than the versions I prefer, but they are close enough that I can easily substitute a word hear or there without it being a nuisance. I'm very picky about my nursery rhyme books, both the illustrations and the text. This one isn't perfect, but it's now one of my favorites.

This is a must-add to any nursery rhyme collection!

The only negative is that I'd have preferred a title stating nursery rhymes, rather than it just mentioned in the subtitle. "Read to your baby every day" at first glance limits this book to infants, when the inside would be a great gift for any age, including adults. I suspect that toddlers and preschoolers will actually enjoy the illustrations more than babies will. That being said, it's still one of the best nursery rhyme collections that I've seen. The beautiful illustrations will encourage parents to keep opening and reading this one, too!

Lots of classic nursery rhymes that are fun to teach the little ones. The artwork is very cool and looks like it is all embroidered and stitched and easy to see. Would make a cute gift for someone or just a fun book to share with your little, making it easy to read to your baby everyday!

I LOVE the gorgeous cover with the sweet innocence of images from beloved nursery rhymes. Looks like an embroidered work of art. And when you open the Table of Contents, it also looks like an embroidered sampler.

My heart nearly stopped when I found this statement on the copyright page, "The illustrations were embroidered with thread and needle." Wow--such a marvelous idea! How I wish the publisher would offer a companion book with the patterns and color suggestions for each one!

This book elicits the warmth and safety of home. Each page is pure sweetness with a vintage embroidered illustration for each poem. The embroidered image offers a depth and whimsy to the page. Children will enjoy discovering new things on each page. The images are so true to life, readers will expect to feel fabric and stitching on the page.

What a truly beautiful way to introduce a child to nursery rhymes. This book sets beauty before the eyes of a child, and lilting rhymes before their ear. Accompanied with a warm lap, priceless memory making is guaranteed! What a beautiful gift this would make for a new baby or for a new parent or grandparent to share with a child in their life.

It’s funny that the original version of “Baa Baa Black Sheep” contains words like “jumper” and “frock.” Definitely not written by an American. Similarly, what’s an “Itsy Wincy Spider?”
In “Hush, Little Baby,” it takes way too long to get to the good gifts. Can we just skip over to Rover from the start? I’m okay with him not barking.
The ship might have pretty things for baby and me, but it’s powered by slave mice. Just say no to pretty things.
Yeah, don’t sing “The Owl and the Pussycat” out loud.
Here’s a problem: what if you don’t know the song? How can you sing it?
Forget old Mother Hubbard; it was her dog that stole the show! Talk about playing dead! And playing the flute. And riding a goat. . . but how could it feed the cat when the cupboards were bare? (Oh yeah, she went to the market. Never mind.) With all the things the dog could do, I’m surprised all it could say was “Bowwow.”

Very cute nursery rhymes book for children. I loved all of the illustrations and the nursery rhymes that are included. This would make for a great gift.

There can be few people by now who do not know the benefits of reading to children daily, but babies also love looking at books and being read or sung to as well.

By adulthood, lots of people have largely forgotten all the words to nursery rhymes, but these are some of the easiest and most enjoyable stories in miniature to share with babies and toddlers. This book is an ideal "refresher course" for parents, grandparents and friends who want to make reading an enjoyable pastime to share with a small child.

Many of the old favourites are here: Baa Baa Black Sheep, Frere Jaques (in English and in French), Here We Go Round The Mulberry Bush, etc, but how many of us know all the words to Old Mother Hubbard? This actually has no fewer than fifteen verses, which was news to me!

This delightful book is full of wonderful illustrations, all from Chloe Giordano's original pictorial fabric art embroideries, and they are absolutely exquisite. I don't know who will enjoy them most, the adults reading or the little ones listening and looking. I am certainly buying a copy for my baby grandson.

It is suggested in the book that you present these gems daily to your little one. I suggest that you read the nursery rhymes aloud with animation and joy. Talk about the pictures or anything else connected to the book, be bouncy and noisy with clapping so that baby will connect the words printed in front of him/her to rhythm and fun.

When kids are a bit old older have them finish the rhymes and perhaps find letters in words that start with their name or yours. Read aloud every day, mothers and fathers, because you love your language and your child. You want to pass that love of learning on to them enabling them to become happy, lifelong readers. I highly recommend this book.

This is an excellent, short and sweet collection of all the classic nursery rhymes! Zero fluff and beautiful illustrations make this an easy go to for story time, rhyme time, bedtime, or any time with little ones!

I highly recccomend. Four stars because I would have personally omitted the rhymes that include words that have double meanings (or have another meaning that is inappropriate), but a great way to teach children the evolution of language nonetheless!

Yes, this is a simple nursery rhyme book, as there are many on our shelves already, but trust me and buy this -- for your collections, as a baby shower book . . . the illustrations (which are, in fact, fabric and hand embroidery pieces) are so unique and make the whole process of reading this volume feel cozy and warm. This is surely by design, and pursuant to the titular goal: "read to your baby every day." An easy task with such a beautiful book.
