As much as I was looking forward to this one after reading book 1, this fell a bit flat to me.
I'd been dying to see the love evolve between Finn a d Sophie but I just didn't feel their connection. Maybe because they've both been in love since childhood and we didn't get to experience that..

The action was decent though!

A fast paced romantic thriller. Story of Finn and Sophie who grew up together but never realized they are each others. The plot gets complicated with the innocent action of Sophie trying to help the ones around her. Overall a very good read in line with the first book in the series.

Awaiting to read the story of Danni and Lars next

A fast paced, action filled romance. A solid plot with good deal and interesting characters. It helps to read the first book in the series to get some reference, but not absolutely necessary for enjoyment of this story :)

5 Stars for Mission : Impossible to Surrender
Author - Jacki Delecki

ARC received from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review. Opinions expressed are my own & not influenced in any way ....

Covers are a really big draw for me as well as a spot on brief description of the book - this cover is a hands down visual of Finn.
LOVE THIS COVER !!!! The cover alone would make me want to read this book !!

This is book 2 in the Mission Impossible series - although it can read as a standalone it would be helpful to have read book 1 !!

Sophie has had a crush on Finn for like forever - a former rebellious stint after her mother’s death and always feeling isolated from her billionaire father - she is really looking for love and acceptance .... There always seems to be something getting in the way of these (2) getting together - and when they finally do - 🔥 🔥 ❤️ ❤️ that’s it - true love but lots of opstacles before they make it to their HEA.

This book is not just a strait romance - there is great action - suspense - an “angsty” plot - also really great secondary characters.

I discovered this author thru Netgalley & Jacki Delecki is someone I am following on my TBR author list !! Thank you Netgalley for helping me discover this great author & series.

Highly recommend this series & author !!! 5 combustible & action packed stars !!!

This was an ok book, I really think it was too rushed. Which made it predictable, The characters were likable, I just wish the storyline was more developed. If your looking for a quick read its a few hours long.

When I started reading this story, the author kept referring to past incidents that had taken place to Sophie and her sister. Soon enough, I did some researching and found this book to be a sequel within its series. It can definitely be a standalone, but reading the prior book(s) will help you understand this one a bit more. I wish I had, I likely would have been more engrossed in this story.

Sophie is a reformed party girl with a big heart. Finn is a moody, jealous, alpha who can't help but love Sophie, his childhood friend. Overall, a great book, I only wish it didn't follow the same formula that seems to be so common lately in similar genres, where every milestone has to be accomplished at a specific time, like falling in love at the halfway point. Despite that one personal preference, I would definitely read more from this author.

My thanks to NetGalley and Doe Bay Publishing LLC for the pleasure of reading and reviewing Mission: Impossible to Surrender by Jacki Delecki.

This is a fast-paced, thrilling and romantic story. Finn is tough, determined and protective. Sophie is strong, stubborn and cheeky. They have unknowingly been in love with each other for years, neither thinking anything should come of it. While Finn is trying to get Sophie home, she decides to bring an orphaned boy to his foster parents. But threats against the child make what should have been an easy job dangerous and suspenseful. I am loving this series so far.
I recieved a copy of this book from Netgalley and am voluntarily reviewing it.

FIrst, I love the names of the characters - Sophie and Finn. Makes me swoon! We have a huge readership of military romances and this title will not disappoint! I can't wait to add it to our collection!

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

This is book two and I did read book one. I think that you could read this as a stand alone but to really get a better grasp of the background situtation, it would be helpful to have read the first book.

I really struggled to like Sophie and Finn, they really did not do much for me so I spent most of the book more engaged in the drama of the attacks and kidnapping than their romance.

The action was pretty non-stop and really kept me engaged in what would happen next and how they were going to rescue Tariq and figure out that Finn was not the target of the attacks like they thought.

I loved the addition of Lars and Danni and hope that means they will be the couple in the next book.

Reformed pampered princess, wild-child and all-out rebel Sophie Dean is on a mission to save the world! She is starting with causes close to her heart. She has been in Nepal for months, working with her mentor and undertaking some charity work, media present or not. But when she is due to go home her mentor springs a surprise on her. One in the shape of a young Pakistani refugee. She is in charge of getting him out of the country to his new foster family.

Finn can't believe it when Sophie springs their new charge on him. How can he keep her safe when she keeps going off script?!?! But when it comes to Sophie Finn is blinkered. He has loved her so long that he'll keep her safe no matter what. But there is no way in hell he'll ever tell her - she is his boss' daughter and she is almost family as far as his uncle is concerned! He's just a Special Forces warrior - what could he offer a billionaires daughter?

There are lots of threads through this storyline. Is Sophie, Finn or their young charge the target being sought? Can they get to safety before the various factions after them catch up?

Brilliantly crafted and fast-paced read. Plenty of action to keep you entertained and of course, the obligatory family snark to make you smile. Sophie and Finn are hot, hot, hot. I loved the way Finn and Aiden kept getting interrupted in one way or another when trying to love their ladies!

I've got a good idea which brother may be falling for the tigress that is Dani! But I have a sneaky hunch that we have not seen the last of Yasra either!

This is the second book in this series and though it can be read as a stand alone I would recommend that you read the first nook "Mission Impossible to Resist" first as there is a large amount of info in that book that is relevant in the second book

This is the story of Finn Jenkins and Sophie Dean they have history she was a spoilt daddy's girl who Finn walked away from years earlier now after years as a Navy seal he has returned and he finds that Sophie isn't the silly little girl that she used to be She now works in the humanitarian field and when danger threatens her wok she turns to the one man she can trust but will he be able to keep her safe. Get ready for a adrenaline filled ride as the book travels along at a cracking ace it has everything you could possible want in a story steam, suspense drama and danger and some hot brothers that may be future stories

Man do I love a good suspense story. This one had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. What will happen next? That is what really makes a suspense story move over into the realm of “that was fantastic”. Loving the Jenkins brothers. Super alpha (but not in a bad way) and super sexy. If you are looking for a fast read that has sexual tension, then run and download this book.

I can see where this story is leading to and looking forward to the next Mission Impossible book.

Love friends to lovers romance. Sophie is the reformed bad girl from the super rich father. Years of playing with the bad boys have all been a failed attempt to curve her attraction long time family friend Finn. Finn is the ultra sexy Navy SEAL who has always lived a life of danger and wild women. After returning years ago from training he finds himself very attracted to family friend Sophie. Finn thinks he's not best for her, lives a dangerous life, isn't wealthy and not a rock star. This new meet up he finds he can't fight his attraction and gives Sophie several glimpses into his desire for her. The problem is trouble is all around them and there is no time to discuss or explore their feelings.

The danger and excitement of the mystery of who the bad guys are actually after make for a great read. Has Finn led a dangerous gang into the path of Sophie and the orphan she is in charge of? Or had Sophie's renowned fame and rich father caused them to be targets? With an innocent boy in the mix and the love of their life at risk, both Finn and Sophie are ready to do whatever is necessary to protect the ones they love.

Jacki Delecki’s Impossible Mission series has definitely reeled me in and kept me entertained throughout each of the first two stories. Action, danger, and an unforgettable attraction make Mission: Impossible to Surrender a breath-taking and addictive read. I loved the storyline; the edge of your seat suspense, and the chemistry between Sophie and Finn was electric. I’ll be waiting with bated breath for the next thrilling instalment!

Wow! My heart is still pounding after reading this book!! This is Sophie and Finn book, Sophie is a ex party girl rock and roll groupie bad girl who's trying to put that life behind her! She's using her family's high profile name to fund humanitarian aid! Finn is a navy seal and was childhood friends with Sophie. when Sophie runs into trouble Finns boss sends him to be her bodyguard to get her back to the states. This book had action, and heart pounding moments, it was hot, had some heartbreaking moments and at some points it was a little far fetched but that's what makes a good story!! She described some of the action and i could really see the cars flying! Just like in a movie lol definitely don't miss out on this one! Thank you Netgalley and the publishers for sharing this book with me!

It was hard to tell who the bad guys were after throughout the book. It seemed like they were all wanted for one reason or another. It really kept me guessing. I like these Mission Impossible books.
