Juniper Smoke is a very well written book by Sadia Ash for a first novel. Even though its a very long read, with part I and II, i enjoyed reading this. Story of Juniper and Kyle, both individuals are opposites. The way they react and handle things. A story of how they fall in love and how they are trying to overcome the challenges that comes across in the relationship they are trying to build.

A very detailed written book with in-depth painting of characters. Some part felt over-written and dragging. This could have been improved. Eagerly awaiting the next part to see how both Juniper and Kyle faces their past and how the resolve the present challenges.

When I requested this novel I was into the ideal of reading this novel but shorty after I have lost interest in the concept. I believe that it would benefit your book more if I did not skim your book and write a rushed review. Again, I am sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for taking the time to provide me an ARC of this novel.

This book is a hot read. People who enjoy reading unbridled passion should definitely read this. Juniper a beautiful curator. Kyle a billionaire with a penchant for contract relationships fall for each other. Characters are well developed and likable and have appropriate depth. It is overall a good read. I received an ARC of this book from Netgalley in exchange for my honest and unbiased review.

This is a good first novel for Sadia Ash. I really enjoyed it.
Juniper Smoke is told in many points of view. The characters are likable. The story is well written however there are some parts of the storyline that are overwritten. The book itself is long and if those areas were edited down it would make for a much shorter novel.

I received this book as an arc from Netgalley.

I'll be buying the final book today. I enjoyed reading parts one and two.

It took me a while to get into this book, but once I did, I couldn’t put it down. Kyle and Juniper are two quirky characters with even more peculiar families. Their attraction is palpable and chemistry is fantastic. They are pushed outside of their comfort zones to find common ground in their budding romance. I enjoyed reading this but I felt some areas where repetitious. It’s still a great debut novel.

A long read, and worth it - but then you get to the end and it says to be continued!

This is the story of Juniper and Kyle. She is a curator at the museum and he is new to the board of the museum. He wants her, but only on his terms. She falls for him but will he change?

Part 1 & 2 done. Wow, that was a lot of pages!

This was a complicated story about two very opposite personalities. Kyle was overly controlling and needed structure, and Juniper was pretty much the opposite in every way.

Overall, I found the storyline good and the characters were well developed, but the book was simply too long and seemed to drag along and there was too much drama for my liking.

There were a couple of things I appreciated about this book. First, I appreciated the cerebral Juniper. The art references were refreshing if not bordering on obscure and nerdy--absolute compliments in my mind. Second, I liked Juniper's relationship with her brother; I found it touching. Unfortunately, I found at least three things that detracted from what could be an excellent read. 1. There were too many odd similes and strange, mixed metaphors liberally sprinkled throughout the book. They were just distracting. 2. Some of the dialog was unexpectedly juvenile from such cerebral, accomplished characters. It was off-putting. 3. This storyline should have been resolved before the end of part two. Although I want to know the ultimate end, I'm not willing to put myself through another book full of overly wordy chapters and contrived crises. I'lll just assume a happy ending and move on with my life.

I started reading this book last night and ended up losing track of time. I could not put this book down no matter how hard I tried. Juniper was a fun, sassy single woman that just might of met her match when she is dangling from a scafold. They both just might have met their match in each other. I love the relationship dynamics in this book, and loathed some of the characters. I hated the ending but am ready to finish the story. Thank you NetGalley.

Romance with a twist. She was supposed to be his summer but could he ever really let her go? I loved the flow of this book. You get to see a romance develop that you didn't really think would happen. I instantly fell in love with the characters I love the nerd appeal. They both seem to have some relationship issues and I can honestly say I would never see them get together in real life but the connection is so gripping. The story is beautifully written and will have you on the edge of your seat. The conflicts really add to the book and have you connect with the characters on another level. I consumed this book in one sitting and can't wait to see what happens in the next book.

This was a darkly emotional story that kept me in a constant state of doubt and mistrust. Both Kyle and Juniper met at the museum where is she is a curator and he the biggest donor's son. He liked her and instead of getting to know her the normal way he proposes this weird 6 month contract with a term date. Juniper of course falls for him and although she puts up a decent fight she eventually gives in.
The rest of the book is this constant back and forth battle over time, control and fear of truly loving each other that leaves both wrecked. They both come from broken backgrounds and this becomes the true divider in their relationship. I could not deal with the uncertainty and did not particularly trust Kyle. I was not a fan and this ends in a cliffhanger. I will not be reading the rest.

Very interesting and unique love story. There are many facets to the story. Some highs, some lows and some twists. Interesting and complex characters. I will admit, this book was a bit too smart for me, with some of the topics of conversation, but I'm just a simpleton. ;) Even if some stuff went over my head, it did not take away anything from the book/story line. That being said, if you are of the higher intelligence, you will probably enjoy this book more than your average romance. :D There is some minor language through out, but the sex scenes were pretty clean, so I would say it is a safe read for the younger readers, even if there are those deep thought provoking lines. The story is not complete with this book. I do not know how many more parts, but at the very least there is going to be a part 3.

5 stars! Absolutely brilliant read!

Was this really Sadia’s debut?

Juniper- first of all, I loved that unique name! She's devoted to her family, work and basically had no social life. At the age of 26, she has never had a boyfriend and has limited experience with men.

"Mom kept me on a slow poison diet of abstinence by fear."

But then she meets Kyle. Not aware that he is her new boss their first interaction is interesting. She has low self-esteem and that causes her to believe that she's not good enough for him. But there's attraction.

Kyle was an interesting character and tbh it was kinda hard to get into his POV but quickly caught on. He's broken and likes to control his business and personal life.

He wants Juniper. He intrigues her and he's aware that she's not like the rest. They both acknowledge their attraction but there are a lot of bumps on the road for them. You'll definitely feel a lot of anxiety! Juniper wants him forever but he wants different things. Will Kyle give in and accept that he also wants her for more than her body?

Trust me! Everyone needs to experience this book! It does end in a cliffhanger but don't let that hold you back! I can't wait for book 2!

What a great story of polar opposites that attract for no rhyme or reason. Meet Juniper, quirky, cute museum curator. Meet Kyle, successful business man who is broken inside who finds Juniper and wants her to fit into his nicely timed plans. Juniper proves to be the most real person and doesn't conform to Kyle's standard taste. There are so many layers to this story. both have thier own emotional baggage and people lining up to tear them down. Can Juniper change Kyle, does he even want to change? Can Kyle change for the one thing that he wants versus needs. Can they together navigate the mine fields of their lives and move on triumphantly together. Only time will tell.

This is a beautifully written story told from both points of view. You can feel the emotions as they happen as if you are watching a movie. The highs are high and the lows are low.

Juniper Mills feels more at home among the ancient relics in the museum where she works than she does anywhere else, despite being only 26. Not interested in social media, or anything too modern really, she's stunned when the arrogant, forceful Kyle Paxton sets his sights on her. Kyle lives his entire life by a set schedule, never wavering from it, including who he dates. Everything has a set time and contract. Juniper's life isn't as simple as it seems, being the main provider for her small family, and having a twin brother that's on the spectrum, she never takes time away. When Kyle decides to throw all of his rules out the window for Juniper, secrets start to emerge.

This book took me a while to get through because of it's length. I genuinely liked the main plot, and the characters. I can relate to Juniper and her dislike for most modern things, and her reclusive tendencies. Kyle's character is an overbearing alpha, which can have it's appeal. I felt like there were a lot of unnecessary scenes and dialogue, at points it felt like it maybe rambled a bit. I definitely understand the need to build the characters and backstories, it felt as if some it could have been edited down, and that's where it lost a star for me. Overall I did enjoy the story, but did do some skimming to get to the end.
