Thanks to NetGalley for letting me read this.

I liked the book. I love origami and sea creatures and found this was a good match for me. And I'm a beginner to origami as well but I was very close to breaking out the paper and trying some of these for mysef!

Thank you to the publisher and net gallery for providing me with this digital arc, in exchange for me honest review.

Origami of the Sea features eight different step by step tutorials to follow along with. They do provide you with a table of contents, but they probably should have reordered the tutorials because they start with the hardest and end with the easiest. I also don't think this would be a good book for elementary age students because they use way too many big words like: angle bisector.

Fantastic read for children. This book was loved by my 2 children when I read it to them. So much so they want me to buy it so definitely a huge hit

The good thing about this is actually the number of pieces of origami papers it gives you to practice, but the downside is that realistically you can find the instructions to these 8 projects with a simple Google or Pinterest search, as opposed to buying the book. There is a lot of explanation and detail on the beginning steps of Origami, though, so that's a good thing, too. This is a good beginner guide book and includes, as previously stated, a lot of paper to practice with.
