Lucy Abbott never pictured herself coming back to Fawn Grove, Maine. Yet after serving time in Afghanistan, then years spent as a sous chef in New York, she’s realized her only hope of moving on from the past involves facing it again. But Fawn Grove, like Lucy herself, has changed.

Full of twists and turns that will keep you up at night, Pray for the Girl, follows many of the standard modern murder mystery tropes, but it's all told from the point of view of a protagonist unlike any other. A few of the twists really stretch believability, but it's never anything but fascinating. An absolute must read.

This is a great mystery thriller. It took me sometime to get into the story, but once all was set I couldn't put it down.
Lots of shocking twists and secrets, and what an ending was that, didn't see this one coming.
Thanks #Netgalley, the publisher, and the author for an ARC in exchange for a honest opinion.

Thank you NetGalley for allowing me to read this book.

I thought this book was well written and I must say it took me a while to get the entire story of Lucy. I did not see that coming , the surprise, the suspense, the truth of who everyone was.

Pray for the Girl seems to have more twist than a reader might need. The story is intruding with a descent pace that readers can dive into and beg for more. The author has the ability to create a story that knows what it wants to be. The story pick up half way though the story keeping readers memorized.
Thank you to Netgalley and the publisher for the advance copy.

Never really got into this book until Book Two, which REALLY shocked me. There are lots of twists and turns and a lot of things you don't see coming.

It took a while to get in to this one, but I really wanted to see who killed the girl. There were twists, and everything wrapped up in the end. Or did it? Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for allowing me to be an early reader in exchange for my fair and honest review.

Pray for the girl was a great thrill of a ride. Got a lot better near the end and all made sense of why once said and done. A different read than my usual.
