Unfortunately this book was not for me, it was a bit slower than I would like and it just didn't hold my attention. I am sure other people will love it!

A gripping story of a mother love for her child.
We don’t forget their names nor their voices and yet others think we are losing our minds.

Are we losing it or do we know what we hear is the truth?

Great story you won’t want to put down.

This book took me on a trip! This started out slow for me; I won't lie, I put this down for a little while before I got back into it, but once I did, I ate it up. This book is what nightmares of made of when it comes to being a parent, and it will surely keep you on your toes as one once you finish it!

I usually steer clear of books about missing girls/women, I usually find them dry, slow and boring, but I LOVED this one!

It’s about a mother that will not give up on finding her missing child! It’s been two years, but she will not give up, she knows her child is out there somewhere.

This book was 100% unpredictable, I for sure had it all mapped out in my mind about what happened or who was involved, etc. but boy was I wrong. This story is full of misdirection, full of action and full of twists!

The ending definitely had my mind blown!

Highly recommend this book! You won’t be disappointed.

As a mom, not knowing what happened to your daughter seems to be the worst situation to find yourself in. And no matter what, I wouldn't give up on my daughter either. This books keeps you on tenderhooks until the final page.

Where the Missing Go was my kind of psychological thriller! A bit of a slow burn but thought provoking. I recommend this to readers who enjoy suspense/psychological thrillers.

This was an ok thriller. A story about a mother who won’t give up on her her child, even if everyone else has. This mother’s quest will lead to some unexpected surprises.

This book took a little while to get started and I contemplated abandoning ship several times. However, at the half-way point...HOLY COW...I had to keep going. It really picked up then and the ending did not disappoint. Thrilled that I stuck with it. My rating would be slightly higher had the entire book remained at that high level.

Where the Missing Go by Emma Rowley is one of my new favorite thrillers. It centers around a woman whose runaway daughter reaches out to a help line, spurring her to do whatever it takes to bring her daughter home. This book kept me guessing till the end, and was a fast read despite the slow beginning.

Where the Missing Go by Emma Rowley is a thriller told mainly from the point of view of a mother who’s teenage daughter went missing. Divided into different parts eventually the daughters point of view also comes into play as the story continues.

Kate Harlow has followed any lead or clue she can for two years since her daughter, Sophie, disappeared. Initially the police investigated as Sophie was only sixteen but the case went cold and with all the evidence pointing to Sophie having run away it wasn’t a priority.

Now however Kate gets a call at the hotline she volunteers for that she is sure is her daughter. Despite the police being uninterested in following up since Sophie would now be eighteen Kate begins digging into her daughter’s past in order to finally find her.

Where the Missing Go is one that really builds itself at an extremely slow pace with each section picking it up a slight bit more than the last. As a reader I had to tell myself that eventually we are going to get some twists and learn the outcome as the pace was one that was hard to get fully immersed into. The story was decent in this one though and I liked how the past was worked into Sophie’s disappearance leaving me to rate this one at 3 1/2 stars.

Thank you to NetGalley and Kensington Books for an advanced reading copy. The teenage daughter (Sophie) of a nice couple (Mark and Kate Harlows) disappears. The mom, Kate, volunteers at a call center where runaways call to leave protected and anonymous messages to their loved ones letting them know they are safe even if it doesn't mean they are coming back from wherever they are. One night, Kate gets a call from one of those runaways. Her message is for the girl's parents to let them know she is safe. The thing is, this girl sounds like Sophie and the message is for the Harlows. Pretty soon the reader is taken on a ride to twists, secrets and surprises coming from all directions. This was a good, entertaining story. Can't wait for the author's next book.

I wouldn't call this book a heart stopping thriller. This book started really slow but mid way into the book it started getting better. If this book was as great from middle to end then it would have been a five star review because I flew thru to the end. Decent read would recommend!

I received a copy of this book in exchange of an honest review. This book was enjoyable from start to finish. We start off with a girl Sophie that has runaway from home and her mother Katie not being able to accept it. Katie works at a center where runaway children can leave messages to loved ones by phone. One night while she is working Sophie calls in and her search begins again. She is the only one looking for her daughter and is frustrated no one will help. Will she find out what happened to Sophie?

I have read a lot of books with a similar story-line so it wasn't really the newest to me hence the 3 star rating. I was interested and couldn't put it down towards the end and I didn't know who the bad guy was.
