I really enjoyed Dante's & Erin's story. Dante has been held as a blood slave for a long time & finally escapes. He is need of human blood so he goes to the hospital blood bank. Erin is an ER nurse who happens to catch Dante breaking into the blood bank. There is instant chemistry between them & she doesn't know if she should turn him in or not. Dante feels the chemistry between them but doesn't know if he will be able to control himself around Erin. He knows her secret that she doesn't even know about. I was hooked from the beginning of the story & can't wait for the next book.

I will admit I was kind of leery of this book but I am glad I read it. Ms. Hardt's story rocks. Mix in some vampires with some romance and you have a winner. The writing was superb and allowed the story to flow better. I really liked Erin and I loved Dante. Totally WOW! A great start to the series and look forward to reading more. A+ in my book.

I absolutely adore Helen Hardt and her story telling ability.. She definitely knows how to pull you end and keep you up all night with her books. Blood Bond Saga Part 1 was no different. Super quick read and I can't wait for part 2. Paranormal romance is my jam and Helen Hardt killed it in this novella. Bring on more Vampires in Part 2.

This book is just amazing. I haven’t read a vampire book in a really long time and i have to admit i missed them.

The story is too short for my liking i need more right now!

Dante has been kept captive for ten years; he has no clue whats going on and how to control his urges. And the first thing he run into is her, everything about her drives him crazy and for some reason he can’t resist her.


Erin’s attraction to him doesn’t make any sense, but she can’t make herself worry about it. He is everything she can think about and the only thing in her mind when he is around is taking her clothes of and letting him take her.

But something has been done to him, that not even he is aware of. Letting go and giving their desires full range might be a deadly mistake.

This book was a quick, short read that introduces us to the strange, scary world of the Blood Bond Saga.

We join Dante immediately after he makes his escape. He's been held captive and nearly starved of blood. As a vampire, he tries to balance his hunger with his need to not kill innocents. This, of course, leads him to a blood bank, where he's discovered by Erin. She's a nurse and is instantly drawn to him.

These two dance around one another, each jumping a few steps in the dating ritual, creating a more intense relationship than you'd expect having just met each other in very unusual circumstances. Dante's family life was also unexpected. As an intro, it definitely gave just enough info to have you wanting more.

I received an ARC in exchange for an honest review. I really enjoyed this book and can't wait to read more by this author.

Holy hell! This book! I bought all the rest of the books that are out in this series last night when I was half way through. To say I loved this is putting it lightly. I cannot wait to devour the other books.

Whilst the paranormal romance genre isn't normally something I'm magnetized to; this book truly was a surprise. Dante and Erin's story was thought=provoking, riveting and gripping. However, there were some lapses in both plot and dialogue that fell bland to me. There were some sensitive topics spoken about and I really enjoyed the author's prose and writing. Having never read Hardt before, this was also a hidden gem.

I swallowed this book in one sitting and it went by really fast in accordance to its pace. Yet, that was also what fell back and felt missing. I needed more substance and story. Overall, it is a good start to my paranormal romance reading this year, and I think I might read the next book!

Wow! This was a great start to a new series. I was hesitant because it was a vampire novel but I am so glad I read this! Definitely makes me want to continue the series.

Blood Bond Saga #1 by Helen Hardt is the first book in Blood Bond Series. It is a paranormal romance and this is the sole reason I picked it up. Dante, a vampire has been enslaved for almost a decade by a woman but finally he managed to fled. He met Erin, a nurse in a hospital where he was looking for blood and these two felt a connection immediately.

This part mainly concerns about Dante and Erin relationship and the nightmares Dante has about the women who held him prisoner. He is not able to cope up with what had happened to him.

I am not a romantic genre fan but since it had vampires, who could say no. Storytelling was amazing. This book can be completed in one sitting as it doesn't bore you out at any point and is a fast paced novel.

The plot is not something out of ordinary. However, you will still be hooked because the author has created so much suspense with addition of some minor and some major events.

I wanted to read more about Dante, his background and his family, but this part of the chronicle mainly focuses on, on and off relationship between Dante and Erin, and Dante's struggle to control himself.

The books ends at cliffhanger, leaving you with innumerable number of questions. I liked the book and would definitely read the second part.

The first part of a serial about Dante a born Vampire. Dante was kidnapped at age eighteen and held prisoner but somehow after ten years he escapes. Desperate for blood he raids a hospital blood bank and there he meets Erin who tempts him like no other. Trouble is Dante doesn't really know what it means to be a free Vampire and his family clearly have secrets.
This was free but obviously as its a serial it's not a complete story.

I do love a good Vampire story and this one is definitely unique in its concept. That said, be aware that this is an ongoing serial novel, and that each part is short and pricey. To date there are 9 instalments, so make your own decision. The plot does lead a reader to believe that this will be an exciting novel when completed, but at what cost?

A quick, sensual and angsty paranormal romance that will leave you wanting more.

Dante is a vampire who has just recently escaped captivity. He is in a compromising situation when he meets Erin.

Erin is a hard working nurse. When she meets Dante it is not under the best of circumstances but there is an undeniable connection and attraction between the two that neither can ignore.

Dante is trying to rebuild his life but is finding difficult especially when it comes to the need he has for Erin. She brings out the animal in him.

With so many secrets between them, will they be able to build something real?

This story is told in dual POV and is the first book in the series.

I loved the attraction and the pull between our main characters.

I also enjoyed and was entertained by the story and where it is heading. I would have loved it even more if their was a build up between the main characters. It felt a little insta-love and happened way too quickly for my liking.

A small thing that bothered me had to do with how sanitary Dante was when he first escaped and how Erin and he kissed so passionately despite it.

Regardless, this was an amazing beginning to a new series and I am anxious to see where their story is headed.

I am truly amazed at how Helen Hardt can tell a story INCREDIBLE! This was first ever Vampire read so I was a little skeptical going in but, no more. This is a page-turning, keep you attention Book. I actually couldn't put it down.
Dante has been gone for years - when he returns he is caught in a compromising position by Erin a nurse. He senses her, craves her but he knows he can't have her.
Erin can't understand the need and want for Dante a "man" she has just met.
What will the next book hold I for can't wait to find out?
