Thank you to Netgallery for allowing me the opportunity to read this book for my honest review.

Let me start with: I really liked this book. I think that John Borrows did a great job gathering all these information about indigenous people's own laws in Canada. It is interesting to learn about the Indigenous laws and how that actually conflicts or converges with Indigenous' rights. I particularly appreciated the stories told by Borrows. This book can even sound mythological in a sense.

I would recommend for individuals that like ancient cultures, mythology, social justice, and law.
