This series followed the Hunger Games pattern: the first two books (<i>Caraval</i> and <i>Legendary</i>) were virtually the same book, while the third book departs from the previous structure and tone. In neither case does that really work.

One of my problems with <i>Legendary</i> was that we were introduced to the Deck of Destiny and the various Fates but they were left somewhat undefined. There are more Fates in <i>Finale</i> and once again, they aren't well defined or explained. I did love Jacks (in both books) and wanted more of a choice between him and Dante for Tella, something that doesn't quite happen here. I'm afraid to say more so I don't spoil things!

This gets four stars because there are some great set scenes and the characters we've met before evolve in interesting ways. One star take away because there are things that are left out - some of which could have been shifted to Book Two and continued here to give a better sense of concluding the trilogy.

"Every story has four parts: the beginning, the middle, the almost-ending, and the true ending. Unfortunately, not everyone gets a true ending. Most people give up at the part of the story where things are the worst, when the situation feels hopeless, but that is where hope is needed the most. Only those who persevere can find their true ending."

The most magical and unique series of all time has come to a close. I am not sure if I'm sad it's ended or happy that the story is finally complete. I fell in love with this series back in 2016, and the previous 2 books were everything I had hoped they would be.

This book is told in the alternating perspectives of sisters Scarlet and Tella. Each have their own missions to accomplish and though they each want to protect the other sister, they must go their own way so that they can come together to defeat The Fates.

There were many new characters introduced in this third installment, and most were Fates we had never previously even known about. Some are friend and some are foe, but it was a interesting cast of characters to say the least.

Learning the history of all the fates, how Tella and Scarlet's mom falls into the mix, and even background on how Legend came to be was an exciting and at times terrifying journey. Author, Stephanie Garber, throws in some twists and turns that I honestly didn't see coming.

I had high hopes for the Caraval series ending and I have to be honest and say it fell a bit flat for me. The ending was just "okay" and it seemed really rushed and too tied up in a neat little bow for my liking. Sure, part of me was happy that the fairy tale ending happened, but it left me feeling empty... I am not sure how to further explain the feeling and I don't want to ruin this book with spoilers.

All in all, it was a book and series I will read over again because it's just that creative, well written, and the characters are unlike any other. Bravo!

Thanks to Netgalley, Flatiron Books and Stephanie Garber for allowing me an eARC to read and give my honest review. It was a 4 star read for me! I can't wait to see what Garber comes up with in perhaps a new series!

Finale is set to be release on May 7, 2019 here in the US, so preorder it now!

Happy Reading!

Caraval burst onto the book scene a few years ago to a lot of polarizing reviews, but I was firmly in the loved it camp. From the moment I read the first book in this series, I’ve been looking forward to the last. And let me just say, Finale did not disappoint. This is a series that you don’t want to pick up out of order. Every book ups the ante, and if you don’t read them sequentially, you’re doing yourself a huge disservice.

I’m going to be vague in this review, because I would hate to spoil the final installment of this series for anyone. I will say that I thought this book was action packed, and my romance loving heart really got its fill with all of the back and forth in this one. My heart was pounding, and I just could not see how this was going to work out. As usual, sparks are flying between Tella and Legend, and in true Scarlett fashion, she can’t help but overthink her relationship with Julian. But from the very beginning, the heart of this series has always been Scarlett and Tella’s relationship – how much they love each other and how nothing could change that. This book was the same. These sisters adored each other, and woe be to anyone who tries to hurt one of the Dragna girls. They will go to the ends of the earth for each other, and I love that there was nothing that could stand in the way of that.

All of the characters that we’ve loved and loved to hate show up in Finale, and just like the first two books in the series, this one is rife with surprises. I love the entire concept of the Deck of Destiny and the Fates. It felt so unique and fresh to me, and while the Caraval series feels finished, I’m not convinced that the Fates are. I have my fingers crossed for a spin-off series; they are so interesting and mystifying. I want to know more about them – everything about them! There was one character in particular that I wanted a happy ending for. But to be honest, I’m not sure I’d have been satisfied with that, because I’m not sure it’s ‘fated’ to happen. Things probably worked out just as they were supposed to, and I’m probably shooting for the moon by wishing for more. But like Tella in so many situations, I just can’t help myself. And the writing here – it was gorgeous. I loved all of the descriptions, and it made this lush world even richer. I just couldn’t get enough of it.

Finale was a book that swept me away and had me so thoroughly enjoying myself that I didn’t want to put it down. It felt to me that the first two books in the series really were leading up to these exact moments, and everything played out perfectly. Tella may have been under Legend’s spell and Scarlett Julian’s, but for 496 pages, I was under Stephanie Garber’s. I loved this book and will be rereading this series again soon.

This was a great, relatively strong ending to the series. It was nice to see both girls working together toward the same goal.

I definitely liked Scarlett more in this book than any other. It seemed like she was finally her true self. I love her and Julian together.

Tella will always be my favorite though. I see much of myself in her. And come on. Her relationships with Jacks and Legend make this story 100 times more interesting. And so much better.

I wasn’t sure what exactly to expect of the story. What was the new journey? It was intense. Loads of intrigue and romance. And of course, tricks.

I know Jacks is a villain, but I can’t help but love him. He brings a new, fun dimension to the story. He makes things humorous when they shouldn’t be.

The plot and stakes were bigger this time around. And I felt that for sure. Everything was a risk. Danger lurked everywhere. Chances are they’d fail. But they risked everything anyway. And of course, the romance was phenomenal. From all angles. I especially loved this chapter of Tella and Legend. This was it. The end. Would he finally choose her, or stay immortal?

I do think the ending was a bit abrupt. So much went into the buildup...and then so quickly it was over. I suppose I wanted it to be drawn out a little more. And maybe even just a smidge more of a FINAL epilogue. We just get a few sentences about certain aspects of the story. And after three books, it doesn’t feel right.

But overall, I really enjoyed this. I’ll miss Legend and Tella and Jacks...even the Assassin.

I've been invested in the Caraval series since it's inception a couple years ago. I really loved Scarlet at the beginning- but when Legendary came out I absolutely fell in love with Tella. Honestly, now, I really didn't like where Scar was going in this one. But the book as a whole was great, and I will absolutely encourage others to give it a go.

This final book is just as fantastic as the other two and in some ways even better. We get both Scarlett and Tella’s perspective in this story, so we are essentially getting two stories. I think Tella’s story is more of the main focus, but Scarlett gets her finale as well. I continue to adore Julian and although I found myself frustrated with Legend at times, I eventually came to adore him too.

The one thing I missed in this book was an actual Caraval. There was no game this time, but there was still plenty of action and solving clues to find objects that would help them defeat the Fates, but no game. Which meant that we didn’t see hardly any of the characters that Legend employs for his Caraval. A few make cameos, but they are essentially not involved with how the story plays out.

We do, however, get a lot more of the Fates. Many are heavily involved in the plot, but others are not, we just hear about them. I would love to see a book about the origins of the Fates. We are told some of it in this book, but not enough. The Fallen Star was my favorite evil one. Jacks was still my favorite in this book and even though he was somewhat evil, he did try to help Tella in his way.

There are some twists and turns to the story of both Tella and Scarlett, a couple I had figured out, but there were still some surprises as well. The ending felt a bit rough and rushed, but it ended much like I thought it would so I was happy with that. The pacing was also a bit slow at times, but the action certainly makes up for that.

Overall this was a stellar finish to Scarlett and Tella’s stories. I hope to see more stories set in this world though. I would love to see the story of how the Fates came to be, and Legend’s full back story. The one he tells Tella in the second book, is not enough if it was even true. I would also like to see more of Paradise’s story and her roll with keeping the fates imprisoned. Some of her story was left open ended so hopefully that means that we might get one.

If you haven’t started this series, do so now. It is amazing and you won’t be disappointed.

Finale answered every. single. one. of my dying questions to Stephanie after finishing Legendary, and then some. Rarely does the last book in a series become my favorite, but this was by far the most action-packed, plot twisting, magical book of this series. And somehow Stephanie's storytelling got even better from Legendary to Finale.
Enter the world of Caraval, you won't be disappointed.

**Minor Spoilers**

What I Loved about this book: The plot twist with The Fallen Star and Paradise's romance! It tied in Scarlett's powers, made for some juicy stories, and an incredible adventure for Scarlett and Tella. The Fallen Star's whole story really added to the book in a way I wouldn't have thought it could. His story throughout this book created a more life-like Fate rather than the scary (well they were scary!) Fates that the girls grew up being told stories about.

What I didn't love about this book: The two love triangles going on at the same time with Tella, Legend, and Jacks and Scarlett, Julian, and the Count. The Count could have definitely been left out of the story and made no difference to me. If anything you could even say there was the third love triangle of Paradise's backstory and her choice between The Fallen Star and Marcello Dragna.

If you’ve been following my book recommendations for very long, you already know that I thoroughly enjoyed books 1 and 2 of this YA series (Caraval and Legendary, respectively). And I’m happy to say that I enjoyed the conclusion to this series just as much as I enjoyed the first two books.

Garber didn’t try to throw me for a surprise loop. She didn’t veer away from the world she’d been building—she simply told us what happened since the conclusion of Book 2, and followed it to its natural conclusion.

I feel like there’s not much I can say that wouldn’t spoil the first two books other than to say that the tagline definitely lived up to its promise: “A love worth fighting for. A dream worth dying for. An ending worth waiting for.” Finale will be released on May 7, 2019–and I highly recommend picking up a copy!

I've been a HUGE fan of Stephanie Garber's Caraval trilogy ever since I picked up the first book! The magic, adventure, danger, romance, the twists and turns...it's as they say, all so magical! Finale, as you would guess, is THE finale of the trilogy and it's a whirlwind of a tale! It's a heart-racing read that had me exhilarated until its very end and I am still trying to come down from this epically amazing story!

I did a thing I never do these days, and I RE-READ the first two books of the series! I felt like in order to truly experience and fall in love with the trilogy again, I needed to start from the beginning and what a week it's been!! It was honestly one of the best things I could've done!

It's important to know that though this trilogy started with Scarlett, then moved to Tella, you still need to read the books in order to fully enjoy and comprehend the story! Just as a little FYI. The story picked up a few months after the events of Legendary. Dante has taken on the role of heir and is about to be crowned Emperor of Valenda, though Tella and her sister, Scarlett have since moved out of the palace, Dante or Legend as Tella has taken to calling him now, still visits her in her dreams, trying to get her to claim her prize for winning Caraval last time around.

But Tella isn't having it. She's not too happy with Legend and he knows it. Mostly she's upset that he left her on the steps of the temple after everything they went through together.

Scarlett is having her own troubles though. Boy troubles mostly, one involving Julian and the real Count Nicolas d'Arcy who she got back into contact with. She then proposes a series of challenges for the young men to compete in, in order to win her heart and her hand in marriage. Julian has been MIA during these few months, so he's pretty much in the doghouse too. Though, I will say, you get the feeling where this competition is headed and it doesn't last long before the winner is revealed. Just saying! ;)

Sadly, this time around, there's no actual Caraval, but a much more deadly game is at play. One that involves the Fates of legend, that are not so legend after all. Legend freed the Fates when he freed Tella from the cards, but they are still slumbering, but slowly, one by one, they awaken. Tell and Scarlett are about to learn just how dangerous these beings are and what it will take to defeat them,

This book, oh my god, you guys! I cannot feasibly put into words how much I ADORE this series! It's one that captured my heart with its first story and held on tight to it through the next two novels as well! I am really not read to say goodbye and the ending...oh my god this ending was PURE PERFECTION!!! I was worried with how things might turn out, but I knew without a doubt that Stephanie wouldn't let me down and boy did she deliver!!

While I wasn't always what I would call a romance reader, somewhere in the ten years that I've been running this blog, I've turned into one. I won't admit it under pressure, but here I am freely admitting it now, so get your screenshots ready! Lol. The romances of this series have been one of my favorites of all time ever! I'm normally you're vampire reader, but give me an immortal of another kind and I will still swoon! I don't know what it is about them that makes me so swoony, but there you have it!

I enjoyed Scarlett and Julian's romance for sure, they were so sweet and almost instant in the connecting phase of things, but Tella and Dante/Legend was definitely my favorite! I guess because Tella is just so spunky and outgoing! I love her tenacity and that she speaks her mind. Legend was your typical man of mystery and we get to learn a lot more about him in this one. I mean, we're not in his perspective--though I am looking forward to B&amp;N's edition with an excerpt in his point of view--but we still get to have a deeper understanding of how he operates. And though he and Tella go through a lot of back and forth on their road of romance, I can happily say I loved where it ended. I just wish there was another book too! Lol!

But I can't not touch on the character of Jacks! He's been an even bigger puzzle than Legend since his appearance in Legendary! It took awhile for him to come onto the page, but when he does, you can expect sparks to fly--and translate that as you will, knowing Tella you pretty much know how it will go! Jacks was still a puzzle to me, I thought I knew what he was all about in Legendary, but Finale definitely had me rethinking his character. I do have more questions regarding him...but I'm guessing those will never be truly answered other than what was given. But as you might know, I'm never really satisfied with the simple, easy answer! Lol.

Finale was an epically paced read that had me turning the pages as fast as I could! I felt heartsick when it was over, simply because it was over. It was definitely a story that held me captive for hours on end. The world-building was immense. I love this fantastical world that Stephanie created and I cannot wait to see what she will write next! Finale was a finale worth waiting for and though the story is over, it will forever remain in my heart! If you haven't read Caraval yet, I highly recommend that you do!!

Overall Rating 5/5 stars--as if it could be anything else!

What a wonderfully written conclusion to the Caraval series! I absolutely loved the twists and turns of all three novels, but I think Garber really outdid herself with this book. I kept finding myself drawn into all of the characters' lives trying to figure out what was going to happen. There were a few nights that I had to make myself put down my device and stop reading, only to find myself lying wide awake thinking about Tella, Scarlet, Legend, and Julian. As always, I find myself wanting more of this fantastic story.

Thank you NetGalley for a copy of this book!

This story is told in the alternating perspective of Tella and Scarlett. Im so happy stephanie alternated between them after giving them each their own book technically! There was an even distribution of their voices!
GUYS. IM IN LOVE. the ending was spectacularly done. I feel like stephanie wrapped up this beloved series in the most beautiful way possible. This book had many twists and turns as one would expect from the world of caraval. It was evenly paced and I enjoyed and devoured this book so fast because i just could not stop reading! I absolutely love Jacks in this book, he is such a complex character that I had a difficult time placing him as a “bad guy” or “okay guy” the entire time HAHAHAH!

Thanks to Flatiron books via NetGalley for an ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Magic. Games. Cards. Love. Memorable New Characters and Beloved Original Characters.
In one word – Delicious.

Finale does not disappoint! The last book in the trilogy allows readers to escape to the world of Legend, Scarlett, Tella, and Julian, and in this book some other characters that are along for the ride, including The Fates.

The sumptuous and vivid descriptions create a magical world of conflict for the characters, and while some of the original plot devices found in books 1 and 2 are secondary here, the pacing and characters in the book are consistent. Garber’s writing and plot development have remained steady, and Finale does not falter from the previous works, and I enjoyed the alternating perspectives of Tella and Scarlett. Once I began the book, I did not want to put it down.

This is a series I will go back to read again! 4.5 Stars!

Finale is the perfect culmination to a fantastic trilogy. Everything from the previous two books crescendos into this amazing and aptly titled finale. Scarlett and Tella face their greatest challenge ye t as the Fates are freed and true love is questioned. This quick-paced adventure brims with the magic of Stephanie Garber's spell.

Some of you may already know this, but I had a bit of a rocky start with this series. I didn’t like Caraval as much as other people did, but I took a chance and read Legendary last year and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT!!! That was one of the biggest shocks for me with books in 2018.

So naturally I was dying to have Finale in my hands… not literally dying, but I just REALLY had to have it, I was super excited for it. I did summoning circles posts on Twitter and all. I like to think that actually worked because Netgalley ACTUALLY approved me for this beautiful, beautiful ARC. I mean, just look at that stunning cover. Isn’t it just BEAUTIFUL? I could stare at it for hours. I actually did, which is why I took a photo for Instagram. It’s literally my favorite cover out of all three books.

Anyway, enough gushing about the cover.

There’s actually not a lot to be said about Finale….not because it’s not good. It IS good. There’s just only so many ways you can say, “Read this book because it’s so good.”

It’s beautiful. Magical. Enchanting. Dark. Tragic. It’s a map of all of these words rolling into one.

I loved the characters in this book. I loved that the chapters were divided between Scarlett and Tella. I liked both story lines in the book and the plot with the Fates which might be a spoiler so I’m not going into much detail there.

I’m definitely a Tella and Legend fan, that was most of the reason why I loved Legendary so much.

I actually wished I had reread the first two books before reading Finale because I think that would have helped me get into the story a bit more again, but that didn’t matter too much.

This was a 4.5 star rating originally so I rounded it up to the five star rating since I think it deserved that rating. I definitely recommend the series as a whole for any young adult fantasy lover. This whole series is just magical. Thank you Netgalley and publishers for allowing me to read and review this book. This had no impact on my thoughts, my thoughts are my own.

This series has been such an infinitely shifting kaleidoscope of wonder and imagination. Her characterization and world building skill is awe inspiring in its magnitude. When you step into Stephanie Garber's world, you immerse yourself inside a story that's so vividly drawn that for those few hours you believe anything is possible. I can easily say that this has been one of the most unpredictable, turn you upside down and shake you until your head spins kind of trilogy I've ever read. And I wouldn't have had it any other way.

With any ending to a series, there's some worry that the characters won't be given a proper farewell, especially when they all become near and dear to your heart. That was even more the case this time with the way things left off in Legendary. It was hard to imagine how every wrinkle would be smoothed out to my satisfaction. With the absence of a Caraval game this time around would it be missed? The answer to that is a categorical no. It was actually refreshing that Tella and Scarlett faced new challenges beyond beating the mind bending, magical game. There was still the sparkling Meridian Empire as a backdrop, the unleashed Fates to conquer, and life or death risks that could lead to ruin. There's a frenetic pace to Garber's books that doesn't let you stop and breathe, even for a minute. You're always running around the next twisting corner looking for answers, and Finale was no exception.

In the first half of the book, Tella made several choices that you could either interpret as bold or rash. In her desperation, I didn't always agree with the danger she kept putting herself in and felt that she was rushing head first into situations without thinking things through properly. Desperation can cause you to act impulsively, but there were times where I felt like shaking her. Especially her rationalizations for trusting Jacks when clearly he had proven himself to be consistently deceptive in his motivations. On the other hand, you learn never to trust anything in these books, and for all I knew she could be taking a leap of faith that would ultimately pay off in the end.

Legend pulled a jaw dropping move at the end of book two that makes you re-evaluate who Tella will end up with, and there is more doubt cast on him here as well. There are new revelations that alter the possibility of Legend choosing love. It's not a question of would he, but could he as well. There was no doubt he had feelings for her, he'd proven that beyond a shadow of a doubt. But how deep did they run? Were they shallow or all-consuming like a rip tide that would pull them both under?

I have to admit, I wasn't a fan of Scarlett's sudden triangle that cropped up at the end of book two. When I read the synopsis, I wasn't thrilled at the prospect of a "competition" for her hand in marriage. It was probably the thing I was most worried about going into this one, but thankfully it ended up not being an issue. I'm happy to report that this didn't take up too much page time and was resolved fairly quickly. She had a much more intriguing storyline to follow that took me by surprise. I will say that this conflict that cropped up seemed overwhelmingly impossible. Secrets are unearthed that stacked the odds against her and would force her to make a sacrifice for the ones she loved most.

I don't want to go too deeply into the plot for fear of spoiling the mystery and grandeur that can be found in the grand finale. All I can tell you is how impressed I was in the way that so many different pieces clicked into place seamlessly by the end. With the level of detailed layers put into the plot, the scope of everything coming together in a believable way seemed like such a daunting challenge. The final installment came through with flying colors because I can't imagine this wild ride ending more smoothly. I'll miss Tella's bold and courageous spirit, Scarlett's romantic heart and the unbreakable sisterly bond that these two never lose sight of no matter what tribulations they have to survive and conquer. It was bittersweet to end the journey here, but I feel optimistic that Stephanie Garber has plans for something just as exciting in the future. I love this author's spellbinding way with words and I'm a forever fan that will always be first in line to take a journey into the fantastical worlds she creates. I can't wait to see what she imagines for us all next.

Finale by Stephanie Garber
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️5/5 stars
Wow, what can I say other than this was the perfect Finale for this series. In less than a chapter, I was sucked back into the magical world of Caraval. With the magic, adventure and of course the amazing characters.

This book is written in both Scarlet and Tella’s point of view, which made my heart happy. Stephanie Garber has a magical way of writing that makes the characters and the experiences feel life-like.

I was worried this book would feel forced or rushed, but neither was true. It actually lived up the hype. It will be one of the best books of the year.

I’m heartbroken that the series is over but this book was everything I hoped for and more.

I received a review copy of this ebook from Flatiron Books and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for allowing me to review this ebook.

I thought it was a great finish to the trilogy. It is a series I definitely recommend to our teen patrons.

Oh. Em. Gee.

Not spoiling this book is going to be tough because there's so many thing I NEED to discuss/talk about (don't worry I'll keep it spoiler free I promise). While my favorite book of the series is still Legendary, Finale was almost everything I needed it to be. We have a dual POV of both Tella and Scarlett which was amazing to finally see thing working together versus separately. There was even a little bonus from Legend which just makes me want the B&N exclusive edition that much more (A whole chapter from his POV is included).

This book starts where we let off in Legendary. The fates are free from the deck and Legend is pretending to be the lost heir of Elentine. And this is where the official synopsis for the book lost me. Yes Tella thinks her mother is the rightful heir to the throne, but that truly isn't revealed until the end of the book and is not at all why she is trying to stop Legend from being crowned. Legend made Tella fall for him like hard and then saved her from being trapped in the Deck of Destiny only to leave her on the stairs of The Church of the Fallen Stars confused as hell. She isn't trying to stop him, she's just trying to figure out if what happened between them during Caraval was real or a part of the game.

While Tella is having this crisis with Legend, Scarlett discovered in Legendary that Count d'Arcy, her betrothed from the first book, was played by a Caraval actor and is determined to give him a fair shot. She creates a sort of game between him and Julian to vy for her heart.

Finale mainly focuses on the Fates and how they need to be stopped at all costs. When they were at their full powers last time the kingdom was in chaos. While they will not be at full power until they take it from Legend, it's a race against the clock to save the kingdom from the most powerful Fate of all; The Fallen Star. The sisters must decide not only who to love, but who they can trust and what is the best course of action not only to set themselves but the entire kingdom free.

Love was a huge factor in this book. There was the love between a mother and her daughters, love between sisters and the plain old fashioned love. It showed just how powerful love really could be and that most of our actions stem from it. I'm normally not a fan of love triangles but I was all for the Legend-Jacks-Tella one. How do you pick a man when they're both the bad guy? Have some of each obviously. More power to Tella. I was not a fan of the d'Arcy-Julian-Scarlett triangle though but that's because I didn't like d'Arcy and honestly how could Scarlett ever want him over Julian who is so sweet and caring? Scarlett&Julian forever.

Final(e) Thoughts:
I felt like the book was really repetitive though and that a lot of the major problems were easily solved and pretty straight forward. I figured a real high-stakes situation would be more difficult to overcome but apparently not.

This book tied up a lot of loose ends but it also left quite a few undone. It answered questions I didn't even know I had, but the loose ends left me questioning if there is a possibility off a spin-off. I need to know what happens to a certain secondary character and I'm praying he and some of the others get their own series. Just because this is the end doesn't mean it's really The True Ending.

This book is one of the hardest for me to review. I wanted the book to be like the other two with a game of what is and what isn’t real. However, the new game is still just as fun. I loved the twist and turns of the story and the different POVs. What I hated was that both sisters were in these love triangles which was so stupid because there was only one real pick. Alongside, these needless chapters was the fact that I want more time with the fates. I wanted to explore them a lot more. With her other two books in the series the writing style is flowery and descriptive but missing backstory. However, the characters themselves come a long way.
So onto the things I really liked. I love the last 10% or so of this book it tied up the many questions we had and the plot. I overall flow of the story was fast paced and each time the POV changed I wanted to rush through it to the next point but was so wrapped up in the current POV that I forgot why I was rushing. I was very happy with the ending of this series but am hoping for some more books in this world such as a prequel with Legend/Julian, or a book about each of the fates, or finally the backstory of the world in general that is more in-depth.

HOOOOOOOLY I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE WHAT THE WORLD THINKS OF THIS.

The writing style is SO good! Stephanie captures every emotion with the intensity that it needs! Her writing continues to throw me in a loop every time, and I’m constantly learning something new. I don’t think I predicted a single thing because she kept me on my toes the entire time. Every character is SO quotable, and I appreciate that SOOO much.

The plot lines did intertwine as I hoped they would, and I really appreciate the dual perspectives. Each character had an individual motivation to get to the main climax of the story, but it gave EVERY action its purpose.

I really... I cannot wait to see what everyone thinks of this when it comes out. Finale takes the world of Caraval to the next level in the character depth and sheer challenge of the game. Definitely an intense conclusion
