Another banger! Love the art, as always. Incorporates the best parts of the story. The way they condense the arc into another format of media is impressive.

While I missed the chance to read the ARC when I first received I did manage to pick up a copy when it came out.

I read it one sitting and loved it! The McElroy's brought their wonderful storytelling from podcast to book effortlessly.

I enjoyed listening to the podcasts and the GN was even better! I can't wait for more adventures!

As a longtime The Adventure Zone podcast listener and an even longer time Dungeons & Dragons player, I am so totally here for all the graphic novel adaptations of TAZ. Murder on the Rockport Limited is my most favorite story arc, and once again the McElroys did a great job choosing the best parts of the story to highlight in the book, and Carey Pietsch does phenomenal work bringing the characters to life on the page.

Another wonderful installment in the Adventure Zone graphic novel series! I listened to this as a podcast and I am already in love with the story and characters from that. This visualization definitely lives up to the podcast! Also, the details in both the graphic novels so far have been fabulous! It seems like I notice something new every time I read through!

I heartily look forward to the next one!

This was only a chapter sampler, so it’s hard to review. But, based on what I read I feel like it’s a mystery my students would enjoy.

I love this series and this book! The adventure zone is a fun relaxing read for when you need a break from something more serious. Reading these books are just a breath of fresh air almost like a guilty pleasure I want to keep to myself.

Just a wonderfully written and illustrated book. Does justice to the original material and lovingly uses references to the (what feels like) ten million McElroy podcasts without it being intrusive to the story for newbies. I hope Carey/the boys can keep writing this series cos they’re an excellent partnership.

With only an excerpt, it is hard to tell how a whole volume would fare. But I enjoyed the shenanigans of the main characters and got a taste of the storyline. I would look for the complete volume and would recommend the local public library stock it..

The McElroys + Carey Pietsch have given us another hilarious, delightful installment in one of my all-time favorite stories. The humor is non-stop—except, of course, in the little moments where darker themes yet to come are foreshadowed. The art is absolutely gorgeous, and nobody pulls off a dynamic and perfect expression like Carey Pietsch. I can’t wait for the full version of this book.

Loved the preview of this much-anticipated graphic novel follow up to TAZ: Here There Be Gerblins! The illustrations are excellent and the way that the McElroy's and Carey Pietsch have translated the podcast adventure into graphic novel form continues to be masterfully handled. Highly recommended for all fantasy fans, regardless of whether they're familiar with the TAZ podcast. If they weren't fans before, they will be now!

"The Adventure Zone: Murder on the Rockport Limited!" is a fun graphic novel. Even though this was only a sampler, it was a fun read.

Alas, this is only a sampler, but since I've read the first volume and finally listened to the podcast at my partner's insistence, I'm pretty confident the rest of the book will be as funny, madcap, self-referential, and delightful as this demonstrates. Plus, I really like trains.

This sampler was perfect to get me (even more) excited for the next TAZ graphic novel! I'm excited to read this one in full once it's released.

I really enjoyed what I read of the sampler and can't wait to read the rest, especially as Angus is one of my favorite characters!

Gerblins is a fun story, but I enjoy the Rockport Limited arc more, and not just because it introduces Angus McDonald, Boy Genius Detective and my sweet son. I loved what I saw in the sampler, and am really looking forward to getting the rest of the book in July!
