A sweet clean reading book. Laurel, Shane and Sophie have inherited a town from their Grandfather. Laurel has runaway from Hollywood. She is tired of living lies and living in her tween sisters shaddow. Laurel has a lot to come to terms with. I wont go into detail since it gives a lot of the storyline away. It had some truly funny momments. Pour Gabby....and the twins and their love of blood....... and it has a HEA ending.
I was provided this book by net galley for and open and honest review....I apologize it is late in posting.

Laurel and Mitch, heck the whole town of Second Chance. I can't wait to read more. I am super curious about why Grandpa wanted to keep all the secrets.

Mitch and Laurel have such a weird relationship. It took some focusing to get it figured out at first but once I got all of the characters it was such a sweet love story. I lovely read to read by the fire.

I received a complimentary copy of this book from NetGalley and I am voluntarily reviewing it.
This is a little hard for me to rate in regards to stars. I did enjoy and I am glad to have read it BUT I was really confused as to the premise of the Monroes and the town of Second Chance. I didn't read the first story and the author did try to explain the premise of Grandfather Harlen's deal with the town but I couldn't wrap my mind around why the grandkids were fire from their jobs (they all worked for Monroe companies). What did Harlen's death have to do with their firings and Second Chance? The rest of the story was good though. There was no resolution as far as Laurel's baby daddy either.
Laurel was a wonderful female protagonist and I thought she was wonderful. Mitch was a wonderful and caring man especially with his daughter Gabby. These two was perfect for each other.
This is a sweet and clean romance. I will have to go back to the first book in this series and hopefully the questions that I have will be there.

4.5 Stars! I love the small town romance! Seriously, the small town dynamics are so heartwarming. The characters are messy, and so easy to love. Laurel is in a wild predicament, but she's so endearing. Mitch has a past that is impacting his views on the Monroes, especially Laurel. I seriously couldn't put this book down once I got into it! I think my favorites are Odette and Flip, the older sisters which gruff personalities. I'm hoping they make more appearances throughout the series. I'll definitely be keeping up with The Mountain Monroes!
Thank you to Harlequin Heartwarming and NetGalley for the eARC in exchange for an honest review!
