As always, I appreciate the opportunity to read and review your titles. I have chosen to DNF this title...actually, I did a while ago but wanted to wait (although I didn't intend to wait this long) to post this so it didn't impact review decision for other reviewers.

I look forward to the next title from your authors/company.

Thanks,
Laura

This one was okay with a side of disbelief. Disbelief that I read the whole thing because it was not actually that interesting of a story for me, but okay in that it was hot as heck.

Interesting. This is a new Harlequin Short. Believe me it did not take me long to read this story and that was for two reasons. First, because it is a short story. Second because it was interesting and I wanted to see where everything was leading.

Grace was a driven woman. She is determined to make a name for herself in art world. She fell in love with the works of Jaxon Silva the first time she saw it. Now it's her time to shine with his display. She's proud of her work … excited to be putting the show together … scared that it won't be accepted. Little does she know that she has impressed at least one person.
Jaxon has never seen his work portrayed this way. He's enthralled … with the display and with the curator. He needs to photograph her and he needs to do it desperately. Now, to convince her that she won't be compromised in the art community.

As they come together and she agrees to his request, they can't help but feel the connection, the energy between them. As the week progresses, so do their feelings. The pictures are beautiful, their love is beautiful.

I was surprised that Tracy Wolf was able to build her characters and this story in so short a time. But, she did. You knew what Jaxon and Grace were working towards and why. You felt the connection between the two of them and hoped that everything they wanted, they got. I was really impressed that she was able to bring out all the emotions and passion the way she did. Impressed, surprise and happy that I got to read this story.

So here's the thing... IT TOOK ME FOREVER to finish this book and I can't exactly tell you why. The writing is good, the characters are ok, and once we get to the last 15% of the book and emotions and kink is involved, I was all in. Sort of. But it literally took me two and a half months to finish it. I would see it on my Goodreads list and say to myself "you should go ahead and knock that out," but then I just couldn't and I'd start (and finish) something else. I guess I just didn't connect with the book. I was super interested in the kink that is explored towards the end of the book and I wish we had gotten more of that. And some more character development or exploration or something that could've helped me form more of an attachment to them. But oh well... 3 out of 5 wine glasses.

3.5⭐⭐⭐ Another sexy dirty bits read by Tracy Wolff, this time Grace, a curator who is putting on a exhibition of Jaxon's photography, he is someone she has been obsessed with for years. On meeting him, she is intrigued and attracted to him and pushed completely out of her comfort zone in order to find out what it is like to be at his mercy in more ways than one.

Thanks to NetGalley and Harlequin-Carina Press for a digital copy in return for an honest review.

Make Me is fan-yourself-worthy hot, and the perfect sexy, swoony quick-read. I wholeheartedly recommend.

Book 2 in the Art of Pleasure series is much better than book 1. I liked how the characters played out in this story. This one had more connecting between characters and the title works here - he will make her realize what she wants and needs

A fun fast read filled with undeniable chemistry. Both Grace and Jaxon are connected and compatible in an incredible way in this erotic story. Exactly the book to read if you're in the mood for a quick and steamy read!

Jaxon is a famous photographer and Grace is a curator at the museum holding one of his shows.

He was intrigued by Grace just from her emails and when he got the chance to watch her at a local bar, he took it. But he couldn't just watch, he had to meet her. And he was happy to see that she wasn't a pushover. But he wanted more from her.

Grace goes to the bar close to her apartment for a drink never thinking that the artist that she has been planning a show for would be there. When a man offers to buy her drink she refuses, even when she realizes that it's Jaxon Silva. She is shocked to see him sitting next to her.

In the short time they spend together, their feelings grow and it scares Grace. She knows that Jaxon has to leave soon for another show soon. She cannot risk her heart. But Jaxon wants more and doesn't seem to care about the show.

Can they make a relationship work or will they crash and burn? Will Grace get over her fear of losing him? Can Jaxon make her see that she is what he wants?

I liked the first story but liked this one more. This one had a little more storyline and more sex and being a quick read, there wasn't much time for more backstories on them, but I guess if there were then it would be a novel. Anyway, if you are looking for a quickie, then this is one for you. And if you love Tracy Wolff like I do, you have to read it.

M/F BDSM Romance

Jaxon and Grace's first meeting isn't quite what Jaxon wanted. I loved how Grace wasn't going to let him get away with anything. She made him work for every inch. But after that, I thought that she folded like a chair.

I wanted more from Grace. She started out so strong. But once Jaxon was able to smooth talk her, her resolve to hold out and make a name for herself in the industry went to the back burner.

While they had some great chemistry, I wanted more of a story than to just watch these two dance around whether or not Grace was going to allow Jaxon to photograph her. But if you wanted a quick and dirty read, this is your story. Just don't expect a lot of character development.

I am enjoying the variety and different ways that authors have interpreted "The Dirty Bits" in this series from Carina Press. I would recommend that you give them a try – and remember the premise of all the 'good' bits in a short story, and judge them on that basis. They are quick, often cheeky, forays into passion, often with a quick transition to romance. Sometimes a short, sexy story is just what you need!

This is the second in the series for Tracy Wolff, and I would definitely suggest that you read Hope and Deacon's story too, as it is also super hot!

Grace Parker has been a fan of photographer Jaxon for a very long time, and now she has curated an exhibition of his work. When he sees it, he knows that she has a far better understanding of him and what his work means than anyone he has ever met. This pleases him greatly, because from the moment he saw her photo, he has planned to tie her up, please her, and photograph the results.

He is a man on a mission, and whilst Grace is protective of herself, recognising that she could fall in love with him far too easily, she is really at his mercy. And he makes sure that she loves every minute of it! I enjoyed his care, and whilst he pushes her, he also knows when to hold back and when to make the next move. As we get to read both their sides of the way the week progresses, it is clear that this is just the beginning of something bigger and important. For me, that is the perfect way to end such a short story!

This novella is the second in the Art Of Pleasure series but it stands alone. As in any novella, there is not enough depth to the characters, but the story is tight and entertaining. I appreciated the way Tracy Wolff handles the topic of BDSM, always matter of fact and respectfully. The steam factor is high as always and the novella is an enjoyable read. I look forward to the next Tracy Wolff offering.

Grace has never had someone just want her or even think she is beautiful but if you look through the eyes of Jaxon Silva she most certainly is. Grace is a curator in a famed art gallery and she has set up a show for the world famous artist who is known for his work in bondage. When he begs Grace to pose for him she objects vehemently until little touches and reassurances has Grace begging to try being tied up. This is a quick story to read but full of love if Grace can beat her insecurities.

Grace is buttoned up and looking to make a name for herself in the art world.
Jaxon is the artist she has followed for years, bringing him to her museum is a huge success. Yet meeting him opens up more of her than she expects. And when he asks her to pose for him she wants to say no, but the pull is to great.
Holy hot Shibari! I've read books with this type of rope tying in it, but this one makes you want to see a real picture of the final effect.

This was intense and lovely. A quick dirty read that really gets to you and captivates you so you don’t want to stop. I absolutely loved the journey the author took me on and can’t wait to read more books by her.

It was a very average book, and definitely not Tracy's best. I couldn't help comparing it to her other works, and this falling short. And honestly, that's all I have to say about it.

Jaxon is a world famous photographer who meets Grace when she contacts him about hosting an exhibit of his work at the museum where she works as a curator. Jaxon is immediately taken by her eye for art and then when he sees her he knows that she's the one! He knows that he has to photograph her and the photos are going to be his BEST ever! Grace has been Jaxon's biggest fan since she discovered his work as a teenager. She knows everything about his passion for taking pictures and she truly sees him for the AMAZING artist that he is. When Jaxon sees the exhibit that Grace put together he knows that he was right about her being the one for him now he just has to convince Grace to overcome her fears. This book is sexy and flows beautifully. It truly captures the vulnerability and chemistry between Jaxon and Grace. I was given an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion of this book and I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series. I would definitely recommend this book.

Talk about a spicy hot book! Make Me checks all the boxes! Smoking hot British hero-✅, sizzling heroine-✅, enticing chemistry-✅, believable storyline-✅✅✅!

Jacob is a photographer and Grace is the curator of the gallery set to show his latest work. When they meet they ooze chemistry from the page! Their attraction is combustible and I loved their story!

Even though this book is a quick read, I never felt it moved to fast. The author did a good job of writing their desperation for each other and it was oh so satisfying! Did you remember me saying it was spicy hot??! Woo wee!

Great story to breakup those long novels!
