Jaxon Silva is a very accomplished photographer and Grace Parker is excited to curate a show around his photos at the museum she works at. Grace has been drawn to his work since she was 16. What Grace didn't realize is that Jax is very drawn to her and wants to photograph her, bound in his ropes.

Grace is hesitant to let a man control her because of things from her past, but quickly changes her mind because she is just so drawn to Jax. Jax cannot explain why he is so drawn to Grace but together they have a strong chemical attraction.

It takes a huge leap of faith for Grace and Jax to fully commit and trust in the other, but once they do, they find the happy ending they both always longed for.

This was an enjoyable novella dealing with shibari and interesting to read.

Not too bad of a super quick fun times story. This one had ropes in it so that was kinda cool. It’s hard to get really into the characters because it’s short, but it’s a nice afternoon read to break up your normal reading schedule.

Jaxon and Grace’s story is hard and fast. They connect on a deeper level and resisting each other seems almost impossible.

She sees too much and that scares Jaxon to death. No one has ever gotten this close to his true self. And to make matters worse he can’t seem to stop wanting her.

Grace has never in her life met anyone like him and its hard for her to understand his attraction to her.
She has been hurt before and her low self esteem is not letting her see what fascinates this amazing artist.

Letting go of her inhibitions and fears will free her and might give her a chance to experience the love of a lifetime.

Super fast paced story, they meet and fall. So if you don’t like that type of bool don’t bother.

I enjoyed the characters but i found myself a bit bored by them. I couldn’t connect with either of them.

Its not a bad book, but I just couldn’t get into the story.

A great sexy short story with an incredible Photographer whose work is sweeping the Art World, Jaxson Silva and the Assistant Curator of his most recent show Grace Parks. He knew the moment he saw her she had to be his - not only that but tied in his ropes with her being the art. Yet, straight-laced, serious Grace Park doesn't think she will let that happen.

Sizzling story

I think Tracy Wolf’s Make Me delivers exactly what the publisher Carina Press promises, a short sizzling erotic story that’s heavy on the steam. Insta lust is the way these Dirty Bites novellas are advertised and that’s what the reader gets.
Grace actually was already enamored by Jaxon the photographer, in this story you get to see how that morphs into the flesh and blood man. Jaxon was a bit too pushy, and in light of the world today, I might have been a little happier with the plot if it wasn’t all about what he wanted and Grace had been a more assertive woman in her wants.
That being said if you are looking for hot sizzling sex, with an interesting backdrop of the art world and a very determined man this may be the perfect read for you.
I received an advance reader copy via Netgalley.

Talk about erotic art! Tracy Wolff has me considering Shibari. Holy hotness Batman! make Me is the second erotic short in the tempting reading series! My suggestion is read with a plan in place to deal with the side effects of this delightful tease. I promise you will need it!

Some steamy parts but the story dragged for me. The guy was pretty domineering and didn’t listen to Grace when she continued to say no, but instead continued to peruse until she broke. Not my cup of tea, but if someone is looking for a short, sexy book this might be good for them.

“It’s what I’ve been looking for all along—a way in. A way to see what’s inside of her, to find all the small, jagged pieces of her that she keeps locked away. After all, she’s already seen mine…As I work, I pay attention to Grace and not the rope. The rope has been with me so long it’s like an extension of me, another part of me, wrapping around Grace. Holding her. Cradling her. Tying her to me.”*

I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

When Jaxon, a famous photographer, meets Grace, the curator for his latest museum exhibit, sparks fly. He blown away by how she simply gets him, as is evidenced by the insightful and loving way she’s assembled and showcased this works. Not only does he want to bed her, he’s itching to tie her up with his shibari rope and capture her with his camera. She seems to see inside his soul, and he wants to know her as intimately as she seems to know him. Grace can’t believe her favorite artist is interested in her. His request to tie her up both frightens and excites her, but she doesn’t want to jeopardize her career by giving into her desires, no matter how delicious they may be.

MAKE ME is the first story I’ve read in the Dirty Bits line published by Carina Press. The story definitely delivered on Carina’s romance promise “All the romance you’re looking for with an HEA/HFN.” The story is sensual and generates plenty of the feels romance lovers crave. The story takes place over a short period of time, but the connection between the couple leaves no doubt that they have something special that will last.

The narration goes deep into the character’s feelings and the love scenes sizzle. There’s a hint of BDSM in the story, but it’s something that’s used to enhance trust and intimacy, rather than the focus. With their novella-length word count, stories in the Dirty Bits line are meant to be devoured in a sitting or two, which nicely fits into a packed to-be-read list.

Thanks to NetGalley and Carina Press for the opportunity to experience this book in advance of its release.

Make me by Tracy Wolf a new to me author that I'll be checking out more books by. A hot spicy erotic story. With likable characters and a dialogue that pulls you in.

This guy has the balance between intense and sweet perfected. His first reactions towards Grace is to devour her but since she is so skittish he recognizes that he needs to take his time. Care for her, get to know her as deeply as she has discovered his true self. Jaxon feels exposed every time he is near Grace without she even trying. She just genuinely gets him. But not even when that sets him off kilter and leaves him feeling naked, he never wants to be away from her. She peaks his curiosity even more and without a doubt he is determine to make her realize that he is not going anywhere. That he wants everything with her and from her. Just as he plans to give her his all. The bondage is a bonus too.

4/5 - I really like these short erotica novellas from Carina Press.

Grace and Jaxon were hot in this story. Steam for days. And , give me anything with rope bondage. Shibari is beautiful and sexy.

While I liked this story there’s a lot of dialogue, internall and thinking. Not much doing besides sex. I completely understand the purpose of erotica’s and appreciate them but there’s usually some plot. Not just get in the pants of the other person and create ways to do so. This isn’t even much of a complaint more observation.

Thank you NetGalley and Carina Press for the opportunity to review this story.

Make Me is the second short in the series and I did manage to finish this one. Oh, it's still terrible, but hey, I did finish it.

The heroine is the assistant curator at a gallery and the hero is her most favoritest photographer ever. He wants to tie her up (shibari: Japanese rope bondage) and photograph her. She has to work it the business, so no.

The hero does fall hard and fast for the heroine, I'll give him that. But he doesn't take no for an answer which is so not cool that I want reach through my Kindle and throat punch him into next Tuesday.
"I don't want you to do anything you don't want to do. If you don't want to pose for me, then I won't ask you to. If you don't want me to tie you up -"
"You won't tie me up?"
"I won't. But on that, I won't stop asking either."
Run gurl, you're in danger.

But, of course, she relents. BECAUSE OF COURSE SHE DOES.
"Okay. I won't take any photos of you," I tell her, though it kills me to say it. So much so that I have to quantify it. "Unless you want me to."
"I won't," she assures me.
We'll see about that. But I don't say that.
So yeah. You know when all us "precious snowflakes" talk about consent in romance and how FRICKIN' IMPORTANT IT IS! Yeah, this is NOT consent. This is the hero thinking that he's eventually going to get the heroine to cave and do what he wants - which, OF COURSE, she eventually does do in the final chapter of the story. But hey, it's OK because she has a rock hard orgasm so I'm what? Just supposed to ignore the fact that HE DOESN'T LISTEN TO HER?!?!?! I can just picture this jackhole in between chapters wheedling her incessantly until she finally just throws up her hands and caves in, just so she can get a moment's peace.

You know what's sexy? When men actually listen to women.

I just can't with domineering heroes right now. Unless they have the page count to repent or the heroine cuts him off at the knees - and that's not going to happen in a line as short as Carina's Dirty Bits. I still don't know what I'm in the mood to read but sure as shootin' it isn't this.

Final Grade = D

Make Me is full of a lot of hot sex, but not a lot of substance. Jaxson almost comes off a bit creepy and Grace was just kind of blah. If you are looking for a steamy book and not a lot of story, this may be for you.

"Oh, Grace." He smiles ruefully. "Because you were made for the rope. It's why you fight it so hard."

Don't ask me to explain why Tracy Wolff's writing does it for me...it just does. I've loved her writing style since the very first book I read and I keep coming back for more. She's an auto-click author for me.

It's insta-lust for them from the get-go. But, that's only since they've met in person. She's been a fan for a decade, awed by his talent. She sees him through his photography, more than anyone ever has before, and that's unsettling to him. He's drawn to her, pulled by a force he can't explain, and the need to capture her with his camera consumes him. Too bad she's resistant to that idea.

She's skittish, afraid to listen to her desires. What she wants and what makes sense are two different things. Even considering his request is crazy. She's worked so hard to reach this level in her career and letting him take photos of her could ruin everything. Why is she even considering it? "What is it about this man that makes me wish when I never wish? That makes me want when I never allow myself to want?"

It's a miracle my Kindle didn't melt with the heat generated from reading this passionate story. Being an art lover it was right up my alley and I devoured it from cover to cover in one sitting. I'm loving the Art of Pleasure series and I hope there are many more installments in my future. The line forms here...

As advertised, this is a quick, dirty read, in which a bad-boy British photographer attempts to convince a buttoned-up America gallery assistant to pose for him. Naked. Bound. At the point of orgasm.

I found the hero to be a little too dominating (I mean, I get that he's dominant, but he literally followed the heroine home after he kind of stalked her at a bar before they'd even met in person). But he was also all about consent, so that won me over.

British photographer Jaxon Silva knew even before he physically saw museum curator Grace Parker --based only on her vision of his art work -- that he wanted and would have her. Their first encounter is unforgettable! Jaxon finds himself wanting Grace like he has never desired another woman. Grace has never experienced anyone desiring her that way and is finding it hard to believe. Jaxon proves that his desires are true and everything he has ever wanted.

ARC received for review

Much better than the first one, but still not as good as other books. There's more talking and doing in this book other than lots of hot sex, but still not a lot of back story. Just a lot of sex which there's nothing wrong with.

Unfortunately, I missed the first book in this series, and find it annoying when authors don’t note that it is book 2 of a series. That said, this story does stand-alone and is not for anyone who wants a romance of hearts and flowers. Basically it starts with a stalker type element, which I found creepy, but quickly moves on to a full-blown, scorchingly hot, sexual encounter that is documented over 7 days. I did enjoy the story, but it left the reader guessing that there was a HEA, rather than spelling it out.

The title says it all...Sometimes a person wants something...not knowing they do and need to find a way to to get it. Tracy Wolf has a woman who is presented with something so not her...but decides to push her boundaries...
When she takes that step, she finds another push from the photographer she never would have thought to try...

Tracy Wolf writes intense erotica and with this novella...she takes the reader on a kinky journey.

Make Me
4 No Photos please Stars

I discovered Tracy Wolff with art of pleasure #1 which focused on a sculptor. This focuses on an photographer and he is a kinky kinky man. This is a scorching read even the build up scenes are intense. Jaxon is immediately obsessed with Grace and what follows is 7 days of addiction, sex, and intense infatuation. Of course we are supposed to leave the book knowing the characters are in love. If I left the book with the notion that they were totally a couple and really happy with each other it would make more sense. I think Grace was finally opening up to herself as a character but then the book ended. I know I know its supposed to be a crazy hot and kinky novella but man .. I really need to check out the authors back list to see what her full length books hold because I bet you I would feel the connection then! This story is a safe and consensual story about Shiburi.
