Say You Still Love me is a nice summer read that alternates between chapters that take place at summer camp when the main character is 16, to 13 years in the future when she's getting ready to eventually take over her father's company. Her life gets more interesting when her first love, the one she met at summer camp, shows up as a security guard at her job after suddenly disappearing from her life 13 years ago.

Normally this is the kind of book I love. However, I just found the pacing to be slow and the details of building acquisitions and Piper's job just weren't of interest to me. I do love getting to read about someone in her late 20's who has a career and not a family as I don't find many books focus on that, and that was something I can relate to.

Say You Still Love Me was my first K. A. Tucker book and it won’t be my last. I loved the friends and family plot and of course the romance. Kyle sure was dreamy! The side characters were all well-thought of in my opinion. It made me want to go to camp even though I’m far too old for that. Thank you NetGalley for the free ebook.

I finished "Say You Still Love Me" by KA Tucker, and although I definitely like "The Simple Wild" much better, I did enjoy this one. I loved the dual timelines, and loved the whole summer camp setting! I loved the second chance love trope.
.
Kyle and Piper meet in summer camp. Kyle breaks Piper's heart that summer! Fast forward 13 years, we have Piper working for her father's company! A powerful woman! She runs into Kyle and they have a second chance at love! Yes, it was a bit predictable, but I did enjoy it!.
.
I enjoyed the nostalgia of the summer camp! That was the better part of the book for me! Recommend you check this out for a fun, easy summer read!

I feel like most second chance books are the same. They're all predictable. While this book WAS predictable, I will say that I thought it was a good story.

Wow. What can I say? I can say that it's been awhile since I've reviewed a 2 star read. That changed with this book. I was very much disappointed in this release from the usually highly talented Tucker. I have read her books in the past and have been very captivated by them. Then I read this one. It took all I had and then some to get through this one. It was just that slow and non-captivating for me.

These characters were not gripping like I like to see. They fell flat in their roles and the story line felt forced to me. Each page turn I was looking for the twist that would suck me in, the moment that I would be pulled to the heart of the story and not let go. Unfortunately, that didn't happen for me and I was left wondering what I just read.

With that said, you may find that you like the story line and it's characters and be so captivated you give it more than 2 stars. So, while I don't like this one and can't recommend it because I love it, I do recommend that you give this author a try. This could be just a one off for her. I will be looking forward to seeing if her next read is better than this one, and more like her others that I have read.

Piper Calloway is moving up in her father’s real estate company. . Unfortunately for her, she feels like she is undermined and not taken seriously. While she’s all business at work, she begins to experience nostalgia when she discovers an old boyfriend, Kyle is working security for her father’s company. They were always on different levels of the socioeconomic spectrum, and things are more awkward now with Kyle working for her father’s company.

I thought this was an alright second chance romance. I thought Kyle was very genuine, but Piper seem to not understand Kyle’s apprehension despite how he they felt about each other. It seemed at times that Piper were operating as if they were still teenagers. There were some turns that I didn’t see coming, but I think they were eventually tied up nicely.

Maybe I was just in a bad mental state in August or went into this with too high of expectations, but this second-chance romance just didn’t reach the heights of its’ predecessor in my opinion. Tucker’s The Simple Wild was one of my favorite reads last year, so trust me no one is more upset that this story didn’t measure up. Don’t get me wrong I loved the back-and-forth/dual timelines, the summer camp setting, and the steam between these two leads, but a lot of the drama and tension fell short. It didn't feel like as much was on the line, and the "twists" left me confused and torn. This sounds more negative than I intended because SYSLM was still a solid read and Tucker remains an author I'll be giddy to read again. It was a nice way to spend the weekend, but it wasn't the romance of the summer.

This is my first K.A.Tucker book as romance isn't usually my thing. However, this is adorable. I loved the writing and the characters in this book. They leave you pulling for their situation to work out and sometimes you are just in the mood for this sort of read. It was the right book at the right time. A pleasure to read and quickly readable.
3.5/5

ARC Provided by Publisher but does not influence my review. I also purchased a copy in ebook and audible.

4.5 stars for Piper and Kyle.

I really enjoyed the past and present chapters. I loved going back to them being teenagers and revisiting that first crush/love feeling. I was happy that Piper was the wealthy good girl in this novel and not the normal rich bad boy trope. It's always refreshing to read about a strong independent young woman. I will say I didn't see that coming in regards to Kyle working at Calloway. I was thinking it had to do with his dad and construction.

All in all it was an enjoyable read. I never disappointed with K.A. Tucker books. She tells a good love story with likable characters, even if they are sometimes flawed.

I went into this with high hopes. Who doesn’t love a second chance love story? But this one just couldn’t quite reach the mark. I didn’t expect a full blown romance. I loved The Simple Wild and even that wasn’t a full on romance novel. I did expect to care more about the characters than I did. I mean, that is what K.A. Tucker does really well.

Piper just lost me. She is a bit spoiled and just immature. I felt the same way about the Kyle minus the spoiled part.

The flashbacks took this adult contemporary story into a YA camp story. That could have been cute but for me I just wasn’t into it. I really wanted something else. I got bored with the whole melodramatics of these teenagers and their lives.

Then there is a bit of a twist thrown in there and I’m pretty sure it is to bring all the feels. Unfortunately, by then, I was not emotionally capable of caring. Not to say this won’t tick the boxes for some but for me it just didn’t grab me.

This was my first KA Tucker book (I know, I know, I’m super late) but it won’t be my last. It’s a fantastic second chance romance, rich girl, poor boy that centers around summer camp! And I totally love summer camp themed movies and books. Tucker does a great job with the set-up and the flashbacks. The camp scenes are fantastic and both main characters, and secondary characters are likeable and well developed. It’s definitely a solid story I totally recommend.

I love second chance romance when it deserved or earned. I love first love being that one kind of forever love. I love seeing the underdog get that elusive chance to have that something more. There are lots of things that I could have loved about this story, there were some things that took all that away.

I found the use of past and present snippets of the relationship between Kyle and Piper to be helpful and at the same time gave me the reasons behind why the story's impact was what it was. Piper of the past was carefree, stand-up, living life. Piper now was in no way deserving of the man that was so in love with her years ago. She was spoiled, pampered, over indulgent, a bit self-absorbed, and more. The Piper of today just did not seem to be the one from camp years earlier. She was different and it was not in a good way.

Klye had me both in the past and the present. He was wrong for a past choice, but he became more of the man that he could have always been with the life he had lead.

There were strong characters. Growth in the characters. Some good. Some not so good. The writing was well-done. The way the past and present melded together painted a very vivid picture. If nothing else the story will engage you and take you on an experience.

I read K.A Tucker's The Simple Wild last year and I absolutely loved it so I had very high expectations for this book. And while I did enjoy Say You Still Love Me it didn't quite live up to my expectations. The book is about Piper who is a VP at her dad's company and Kyle who is a newly hired security guard at the company. The two have history, he was her first love from camp that broke her heart. I enjoyed the book and the romance but Kyle's character fell a little flat for me. I will say that there is a reveal/twist at the end that broke my heart and stuck with me after I had finished. Overall I would recommend.

This book was... tedious.

I've heard great things about K.A. Tucker, and was excited to read Say You Still Love Me. But from the start, I just didn't like the heroine, Piper. She's spoiled, for one thing. For another, she describes herself as having a tiny waist and being "eye candy" for her office. As a teenager, she regularly feels sorry for girls who have freckles or who are moderately overweight- I mean seriously, every other word used to describe Christa was "thick" or "round". It's was so unbelievably off-putting.

The camp bits didn't read as real teenagers to me at all. Nothing they said to each other (besides a few hilariously cheesy comments from Kyle, thinking he's The Shit when he's actually just seventeen) felt true. I can't think of a single teenager I know, or knew - who would talk the way they did.

Beyond the rich bitch annoyances, I just found the romance flat and uninspiring. There was no real "burn" to it. The book was at least 50% longer than it needed to be. I was just bored. Unfortunately, this didn't do it for me at all.

Thank you to the publisher for the ARC in exchange for an honest review.

Well, this book didn’t top The Simple Wild for me BUT I loved it nonetheless. A second chance romance? Check. A swoon-worthy love story with lots of heart, chemistry, longing, and emotion? Check. Wonderful main and secondary characters? Check. Friendships that stand the test of time? Check. Family and workplace drama? Check. Lovely writing that evokes all the feels? Check. Say You Still Love Me obviously checked a lot of boxes for me.

I loved the then and now format, as it kept me flying through the pages, eager to get back to one or the other as we see Piper and Kyle’s story slowly unfold as teenagers and come together again as adults. These unlikely in love characters from different sides of the track. The “then” actually read a bit like a YA story, which I enjoyed as it made for a different kind of reading experience.

I never went to summer camp myself, but gosh, it was so fun getting to be a part of it alongside these characters. The friendships, the freedom, the shenanigans, the fun. By the end I was feeling all kinds of nostalgic for somewhere I’ve never been.

Finishing a K.A. Tucker book always leaves me wanting more, they’re just that good! Definitely worth the read, friends!

This was a beautifully written romance that was a seamless blend of young love and adult romance.

This was the first book I’ve read by KA Tucker and I can say with certainty it won’t be my last. I loved how her words flowed and gave me all the feels.

This is one of those books that make to think about the “what if’s” of your own past.

This a sweet and steamy second chance romance that is both young adult and adult contemporary. It started off a bit too slow for me but luckily towards the second half of the story the plot started to rev up and I couldn’t wait to find out how it all would end. There were surprises I didn’t see coming. If I've said it once then I've said it one thousand times: K.A. Tucker knows how to write a romance that is equal parts steamy chemistry and female empowerment. It's not fair to try and compare different romance novels to an end of stating which types of stories are more worthy than others, and you'll never find me shaming readers for whatever form of storytelling they choose to enjoy, but within the sliver of sub-genre that this author chooses to write, she is in the top of her class. Upon closing out the final pages of one of her novels, I always feel like I've bettered myself by experiencing life from a POV that is different than my own.

Say You Still Love Me was such a good read.
This story follows Piper Calloway, a 29 year old woman working her way up the corporate ladder of her fathers company.
Piper spent a summer as a counselor at Camp Wawa When she was sixteen years old.
Say You Still Love Me goes back and forth between Pipers life today , and that summer that changed her life forever....

I had all the feelings while reading this book. It was incredibly relatable and so wonderful.
I can’t wait to read more by KA Tucker.
Thank you so much #netgalley and #Atria for the advanced copy in exchange for an honest review.

This was cute but standard and predictable. I didn’t feel like it had any impact though. The ending annoyed the shit out of me too

WHAT DID I THINK OF SAY YOU STILL LOVE ME BY KA TUCKER?
It’s safe to say I think I am a fan of K.A. Tucker. I loved the audiobook of The Simple Wild. And so, I was really looking forward to Say You Still Love Me which really did deliver on my expectations. I love stories of first love revisited. They’re kind of like catnip to me.

Say You Still Love Me follows Piper Calloway who is this high powered executive working for her father’s company. She’s poised to take over someday. There’s this pretty large deal in the works when one day Piper walks into work and swear to god, the security guard is a man from her past – Kyle Miller. He’s her first love and they go way back to one summer when they were camp counselors together.

Tucker’s book switches between past and present and we see exactly how both Kyle and Piper get to the point where they are at and how they end up. I really enjoyed the summer camp parts – because I am a sucker for books that take place at camp. There’s definitely not enough of them. Anyways, Piper and Kyle have wonderful chemistry. ALSO, I love love love the bits with Piper’s friends Ashley and Krista who are now her roommates but were fellow counselors at camp. On the whole, this book was such a good read and exactly what I needed at the time I listened.

HOW’S THE NARRATION?
The audiobook of Say You Still Love Me is narrated by Devon Sorvari. It is 14 hours 23 minutes long. Yet, it flies by. I felt like it was really easy to just sink in and enjoy the listen. Sorvari really embodies the characters quite well. I thought she was perfect for the voicing of Piper, the main character. This is one audiobook that I think you won’t want to miss – especially if you like New Adult books.
