This was an amazing read that highlighted the strength of three generations of women. I couldn't believe how hard things were for them and that they were able to not only survive, but thrive.

This book is well written. I will definitely be reading more by this author. This book is very informative and I really enjoyed it. I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone.

An enjoyable read, Under Red Skies is a frank story of China's ever evolving society. I've always found China fascinating and still do. Some incidents the author mentions, especially about the forced tubal libations are truly disturbing.
