I'm surprised with how much I fell in love with this book! I was first drawn to it by it's description that made it sound like a fun/cute beach read. As someone who has spent endless summers in a Florida beach town, the setting and the characters' relation to it was instantly relatable to me. Even if you haven't been, the way the author is able to paint a picture of this place will make you feel like you've been there before and will want to book a trip there immediately! I love the progression of the main character's as they started to fall for one another. It felt so natural and not predictable at all, which is hard to come across in a romance book. I talked about this book so much that even my sister, who isn't a big reader, was intrigued and wanted to check it out! I work in a bookstore and I can't wait to show this to customers as they look for their next beach read this summer.

Paige was the perfect event planner who focused mainly on weddings. Aiden was her best friends brother who was always late. There fake romance was supposed to help her win back her ex. However along the way she realized she was in love with Aiden. Grams knew they made the perfect couple all along.

Sheer Perfection!

I laughed. I cried. I loved Beach Wedding Weekend by Rachel Magee.

This sweet romance delivers all the feels as wedding planner Paige enlists her best friend Aiden in Operation Wedding Weekend, a plan to win back the man who left her behind a year ago. But Paige’s best-laid plan goes awry and leads to true love in this delightful story.

Rachel Magee does such a good job of describing Seacrest’s sugar sand and warm gulf waters that I could practically feel the tropical breezes while I was reading. Her characters spring to life on the page. I look forward to reading more stories about Paige and her friends in the future.

This review reflects my honest opinion of Beach Wedding Weekend, although I do thank NetGalley and Hallmark Publishing for providing an ARC of the book.

A first read for me by This author and I just say it was truly a jem! Paige finds that love is not always what is seems. Sometimes we find love when we are not liking for it! She is saddened when Brody leaves her to go to Europe hoping one day he will return. Unexpectedly he shows up at a wedding and throws all of her feelings in a whirlwind of emotions. So her and her friends come up with a way to get him back! They enlist her best friends brother Aiden to help her make Brody jealous. Aiden and Paige have been friends so long it's easy to show true affection. But Paige finds there is so much more to love them she thought possible! I absolutely loved reading this feel good book! It made me smile and so happy! I couldn't put it down! Fantasies to read more from this author! A perfectly done Hallmark book! Thank you Net Galley and Hallmark Publishing for my ARC copy in exchange for my honest review! Loved it!

All the Feels...

It was refreshing to read a true romance story about the affairs of the heart. Paige is a wedding planner and knows all about HEA's. She had thought she had found hers with Brody. Brody shocked her by moving to Europe with the promise that he would be back for her. He made good with his promise, but he came back one year later with a stunning actress on his arm. All hopes of her dream of living forever with Brody went up in smoke.

With a mission to win him back, Paige and her best friends concoct a plan to convince Brody what he would be missing if he stayed with his gorgeous girlfriend and not be with her. Paige enlists the help of Aiden her friend since forever. Aiden pretends to be her boyfriend in the hopes of making Brody jealous and change his mind about Paige. As they all come together, we learn that everything is not what it seems. Nothing goes according to plan.

The characters in this book were amusing and entertaining adding humor to this story. This was an enchanting romance love story. I highly recommend.

This is a delightful and fun story that is predictable but a great read anyway. It starts off in Hilltop, Texas where Paige is a wedding planner for a resort. She dated Brody for a about eleven months before he headed to Europe, saying he would be back. One year later and having not heard from him, he returns with a beautiful actress. Hurt and determined to remind him of what they had before, she and her best friend's brother, Aiden, pretend to be dating. The whole group of friends travel to the Northwest Florida panhandle and Seacrest Beach on 30A for a wedding the following weekend. Paige and two other friends are bridesmaids for their friend and Brody is one of the groomsman.
I enjoyed watching Paige and Aiden work together to try to make Brody jealous but sometimes things backfire. Aiden needs Paige's help with a business deal he is working on during the weekend so they spend a lot of time with each other. The beach setting is great. I live near 30A and it is a beautiful and popular area with what we call sugar white sands and fun restaurants and activities. The characters are likable, loyal to each other and fun loving. This is a great, quick fun romance.
I received a complimentary ARC from Hallmark Publishing through NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions are mine only.

I have to say, I was genuinely impressed with this lovely, warm and of course Hallmark Romantic, novel. Hallmark usually has a penchant, both in their published novels and their movies, for the cheesy and the trope filled (not that I'm complaining - I love them just as much as the next gal), but Magee has managed to create a plot, and characters that are both refreshing and new but also just as comforting as other Hallmark stories. It's safe to say that I enjoyed this novel immensely. After all, who doesn't love a beach wedding?
Overall:
Sure, this story does play into quite a few 'tropes' - best friends' older brother, falling in love with a 'bachelor' type man, beach getaway romances, and of course, the big one - fake relationships. But in this case, they all work beautifully together actually. Magee creates a story for Paige and Aiden which is heartfelt and adorable, with their chemistry clear to see. And I loved it. From adorable scenes in a kayak, to their co-dependence and the comfort they feel with one another to the romance of a beach wedding. I adored it.
Characters:
Beach Wedding Weekend is told in alternating POV's, which although there isn't the typical "name at the beginning of each change of POV", you figure out pretty quickly. The POV's alternate between Paige and Aiden, and in my opinion, worked well for their story.
As far as heroines go, Paige was good fun to read alongside. There wasn't really anything in particular that irked me about her or that annoyed me - she was just fun, intelligent, and great at her job - all round a great heroine.
And Aiden? A perfect match for Paige. He was funny, charming and has a great penchant for starting businesses...and helping out Paige (and vice versa). I think what I loved most about their relationship was just that they felt so comfortable around one another, which was just a pleasure to read.
Storyline:
Overall, the plotting and the storyline didn't really deviate from what was expected (again, not complaining about that!) If I did have one complaint, it would just be that at times, I felt like it was a bit jumpy as each scene cut off onto the next.

Overall however, I truly enjoyed this novel. It made me feel summery and warm inside with a lovely tale of what love looks like (and how sometimes you don't recognise it at first.)

Note: I was generously provided an ARC of this novel from the publisher and author via NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. All thoughts and opinions expressed are my own.

Strap yourself in to fall in love at the beach.

Let's face it, Beach Wedding Weekend has an amazingly beautiful cover that gives you all the butterfly feelings of fresh love coursing through your veins. Of course, a book can have a beautiful cover and a story you walk away from feeling disappointed (I've had those experiences and I'm sure you have too).

Great news! This is not one of them.

The setting is wonderful and the story flows beautifully. The chemistry between the two characters will have you begging to read more and won't let you go until they fall in love. I found myself engrossed in this book and I'm sure that you will share my feelings once you read it for yourself.

Moving on after her boyfriend dumped her and moved to Paris doesn't seem like an option for Paige. She and Brody were meant to be together and now he's finally back....with his new flashy girlfriend. Mortified, Paige's friends concoct a plan to get her and Brody back together. The only downside to that plan is that she'll have to pretend that she's in love with Aiden, her best friend's brother. She has one weekend to get Brody back. By the end of the wedding, she will have her happily ever after back. But some things aren't as perfect as they seem and some things that aren't perfect, are perfect for you.

This is a beautiful beach read that I highly recommend for everyone. Like all Hallmark content, this book is clean and free of vulgar language and sexual content.

Beach Wedding Weekend is a light-hearted and adorable story that makes the perfect read for spring or summer! This book would be great to take with you on a summer vacation. The characters are funny and relatable while the beach setting is pure magic. You will definitely be swooning by the end of this book! Beach Wedding Weekend easily became my favorite non-Christmas Hallmark book. I would highly, highly recommend picking up this book!

Fun read full of romance & friendship. Paige's college friends re-unite for a wedding @ a beautiful beach where Paige's ex-boyfriend, Brody, shows up with his "new" girlfriend. Paige and a college friend's big brother scheme to make Brody jealous. This is a fun, fast read with some predictable and some unpredictable twists. Characters are more then "fluff". Well-written and very enjoyable read!

I received a copy of Beach Wedding Weekend by Rachel Magee from Hallmark Publishing and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you!

I give this book 5 stars! Beach Wedding Weekend by Rachel Magee is a classic Hallmark story. A sweet romance with great characters and a HEA. I wouldn't expect anything less than a wonderful book from Rachel and I highly recommend this romantic read!

I loved this story. Another example of how life never works out the way you might expect. This is a true HEA with the best of all possible endings. The main female character was the epitome of nice and was well liked by all. And the male main character turned into someone so special.

Looks to me like there are, at least, two more books in the offing. I will look forward to them.

This book was gifted to me by the publisher in return for an honest review. This HEA story was very easy to read 👍👍👍

What’s the popular advice to be happy in today’s world? Aren’t we supposed to take care of ourselves? One of the best ways for me to relax and have “me time” is to read a Hallmark book. And Beach Wedding Weekend is a perfect way to give yourself the joy of relaxing. Whether you read it on the beach, your front porch, or with your doggie on your bed, you will adore the main character, sweet Paige.

The author does a wonderful job of placing us in Paige’s world. Whether she is in the Texas Hill Country at a gorgeous resort, or at Florida’s Emerald Coast for a weekend wedding, you will feel like you have been there! And if you are like me, you will want to plan your next vacation on the white sandy beach, by the blue-green water.Oh, what a lovely movie this would make!

Page is a wedding planner, and I don’t believe there is one as pretty, kind, and organized as she is. She longs to get back with her old boyfriend, Brody. So, she and her gal pals come up with a plan to get him back during the wedding weekend. They plan a cute diversion, but they forgot to plan for Aiden. Many of us are looking for a guy like Aiden! Especially the way he is described in the book. No wonder he has an effect on Page!

Readers, you will enjoy all the characters in the book. Sasha is an especially interesting character. Be good to yourself and read Beach Wedding Weekend.

Thank you Hallmark Publishing via NetGalley for the ARC copy of this book. This is my honest opinion.

Easy to read sweet romance story. Just the kind of stories one expects from hallmark. Even though it was predictable I enjoyed reading this.
Paige is on a mission to get back her boyfriend but does not realize that love has been staring her in the face all this while.
So many funny moments. Loved the friendship between the women.
All in all a breezy enjoyable read.

I really enjoyed this sweet story about a wedding planner who was pining for her ex boyfriend.
The friendships between the women who met in college were warm and genuine. The characters were all very real and the dialogue was well done.
The twist was perfect. The happy ending beautiful.
