Due to a passing in the family a few years ago and my subsequent health issues stemming from that, I was unable to download this book in time to review it before it was archived as I did not visit this site for years after the bereavement. Thank you for the opportunity.

This is the first book I read from this author, and I am so glad I picked up a copy.

Mass Killers is a very detailed researched book that will actually surprise you. Never knew there were so many, sad but true.

Great job!!

Give me all the true crime! This book is the very reason I am fascinated with true crime. I want to know the psychology behind it all. What is really going on in some of these peoples minds. What lead them to this point. How are they that different from the rest of us who aren't Mass Killers. Very well researched and what could have been a very boring book kept my attention the entire time. Thank you, NetGalley, for allowing me to read this book in exchange for an honest review!

WOW!
I’m not sure what I was expecting once I started this but it’s not what I read and that’s good. I thought maybe we’d have a few snippets of random killers here and there, but this was very informative and really researched.

We are told about the history of these killers, the obsession of media attention, movies, their mental state, how they feel that they are a cult, and so much more. It’s really crazy to learn how they want to out do each other and how they feel like they are God’s and will get into heaven because they have killed so many people. This was a hard read but a good read. Very informative and gave us more things to look at and try to understand. He discusses gun control and how if the government won’t do anything about it since these shootings started, Will they ever do anything about it since little kids have been affected now too?

Thank you NetGalley

What an excellent book on mass killers. Very informative and well researched. The author states that school officials and those working with children should read this book and I agree. The author has delved into the psychology and identified warning signs to hopefully prevent a massacre. I found it also interesting how so many mass killers, especially school shooters, idolize the Columbine shootings.

I enjoyed reading this book and I highly recommend it.

Interesting information about serial killers. But unlike most books, it includes information about serial killers outside of the United States. It explored how subsequent killers are emboldened by the acts of others. Sometimes the information was a little dry but overall informative and entertaining. I received a free copy from Netgalley for my honest review.

Krajicek Does a phenomenal job dissecting histories most notorious mass killers through pieces of their own earie words. He touches on subjects like media attention, motive, psyche, and the cult like following that surrounds these mass murderers. I found myself continuously shaking my head and disturbed to the point of intense interest as I read directly into their minds. Krajicek explores mass murder outside of the U.S. as well, and brings the book to an end by discussing gun control from the point of view from survivors of some of these heinous acts. Though sometimes emotionally hard to read, I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the opportunity it gave me to dive into the disturbed minds of the individuals discussed in this book.

This was such a fascinating insight into the minds of mass killers and was so well researched. It went into so much detail about the thoughts behind the murders and was just a brilliantly haunting read.

Thank you NET GALLEY for my copy

Sadly in our world d of madness this is a topic we need to read up on. The author does a fine job of researching and goes harder on facts than supposition or his opinions which I found refreshing. Good study book.

The author's painstaking research and attention to detail is obvious in the writing of this book. There were many facts that I only discovered after reading this!

I found this book incredibly interesting and thought provoking. I was able to follow along and understand the book without feeling overwhelmed. I enjoyed the flow of the book and the way the author was able to connect one case of mass killing to another without focusing too much on one case. It also had quite a few cases that I wasn't even aware of which was very intriguing for me to read. I enjoyed the parts that focused on the psychology of the perpetrators while also putting in pieces from their letters/manifestos/footage.

I would definitely recommend this book to anyone who is interested in mass killers from all over the world.

Thank you to Netgalley and the publishers of this book for allowing me to read and review it.

Thanks NetGalley!

I personally love true crime books, but this kind of missed the mark for me.
It may be have been the repetitive nature of the book. Overall, it was a factual read.

“Mass Killers” by David J. Krajicek is an expose on the horrific trend of mass shooters in our country. Krajicek looks at a several factors that he believes has perpetuated this disturbing problem.
The book was a bit repetitive, but overall, an informing and sobering read.

This book was very sad but it was written in a more factual almost essay kind of way instead of as a fictional novel. This one is all about mass killers (like the title states) and it talked all about the facts behind them. Statistics that most of these killers follow what happened to some of them before and after their infamous killings. What I did like about this book was the way that is was presented. There were no chapters like most novels have instead this book was written and had subcategories each with small entries to give the reader lots of information but not enough to overpower the facts. It was a very different read than the kind that I am used to however I really enjoyed learning more about the facts on why some people do these terrible things as well as some of the characteristics that these people tend to share. I found it interesting to get back stories behind some of the most
famous mass killers and why they did what they did as well as what the ripple effect of their actions was and what they caused or who else also followed in their terrifying footsteps. Very sad read however I feel that it was very well done and it should be read by lost of people, maybe we can one day find a way to stop these tragedy's from occurring in the first place.
