His Demand by Lisa Renee Jones is book one in the Dirtier Duet. With plenty of secrets, lies, angst, danger, mystery, suspense, scorching sex scenes, and a surprising cliffhanger that you don't see coming, you are left anxiously waiting for the next book in this duet.

Very very good. Well-paced and intriguing plot-line.
I tend not to like books with too many secrets, but this one gave just enough hints that I was satisfied.

The end came in an interesting place and I am eagerly awaiting the next installment,

I loved the author's Lilah Love series and this one as well. This book was well-edited and the dual POV works very well.

This book can easily be read as a stand-alone but is also a part of a larger series that includes the stories of the secondary characters.

Although this story has crossover characters such as Reed & Carrie, Grayson & Mia and Walker Securities, you do not have to read the others in this series but why wouldn't you? I have missed a few and can't wait to go back and read those to get caught up.
Gabe is someone you do not want to cross, he has learned from the best, his father. And he doesn't do relationships but when he sees a red head across the bar he wants her. When she kisses his and walks away, he wants more and he will demand it.
Abigail is looking for help but when she sees Gabe across the bar she wants a distraction of only for a moment. When she kisses him, it's enough to help her walk away from him and get her life straight.
While Gage and Abbie were together Gabe was learning he wanted more with her and she was learning that there is a man that can be real, sweet and true to his word. But he wants to control the situation and Abbie can't let another control her.
Can Abbie let Gabe help her without losing control or him? Will Gabe be able to keep her safe and not lose control of the situation? Has Gabe finally found the woman to steal his heart? And what will happen with that ending? Will their relationship end before it really begins?
I love this series and can not wait to see what happens next with Gabe and Abbie. Lisa Renee Jones has got a way of entwining a story to keep you on the edge of your seat until the end and leave you wanting more.

OMG! Gabe is such a complicated and guarded man. He only lets you see what he wants you to. He shields all his pain and vulnerability behind a mask of a man who is dominate on the outside. Abbie is a woman who seems to get past his walls and understands him like no other. She is a strong woman who will not let her past affect what she wants out of life now. Both are broken and have secrets they are not willing to reveal yet. Trust is a thing both have trouble granting and yet they seem to be able to slowly let the other closer as they spend more time together. Gabe is beginning to open up and wants Abbie in his life. The part he is having difficulty with is whether once Abbie sees him completely, will she accept all of him for who he is? The chemistry between Gabe and Abbie is off the charts! Gabe is very protective of Abbie even though she says she can handle the danger her ex seems to be causing. Once again we also see how manipulative Gabe's father can be. I can not wait to see what will happen in the next part. Ms Jones definitely has a way of pulling you in from the beginning and keeping you at the edge of your seat wanting to know what will happen next.Ms Jones is a genius when it comes to weaving a story together!

This is the first in a new series, but does have carry over characters from previous books which I love. Not over the top with romance or suspense- just the perfect blend of both. Can’t wait for book 2!

I'm not really a romance reader but here I am reading one for a change

Then she walks into his office and back into his life, and he has to have her. It doesn't matter that she's the kind of woman you marry. It doesn't matter that she's everything he avoids because she's everything he wants.

Only Abbie isn't the good girl she seems. She has secrets and a past and soon, she'll pull Gabe into her bed, her life, and that spells more than obsession. It spells danger.

REVIEW:

What I like with this books is the theme revolving or the issue revolving the story which is Abi who was in a dangerous situation with her her ex-husband who is a filthy rich man. A billionare. I'm really hooked with the message that "a rich person can always gets what he wants and specially in the justice system and in terms of status".

In terms with writing, I find it odd but easy to read. I'm feeling uncomfortable with how it was written or how it was narrated.

How the things or the situations of the characters were somehow kind of unrealistic in a way that I find the things that revolve with Abi and Gabe's relationship was somehow unrealistic like it was rushed.

Overall, it was a quick read. Easy to read story. BUT I WAS SHOCKED WITH THE ENDING. I WASN'T EXPECTING THATTTTTTTTTT !!!

Gabe works fast. Way to fast for Abbie. She's done with men trying to run and ruin her life. Gabe just wants to protect her. That's what Abbie keeps trying to do, protect him from her ex.
I enjoyed, His Demand. Something to keep in mind though. This book is left with a cliffhanger.
