I love this book! Lindsay is so good at just telling it like it is, weeding out the excuses and teaching you how to build a business. One of my goals is to attend an event where she is speaking. Thank you to the publisher, Thomas Nelson and netgalley for and advanced copy of the book in exchange for my review.

If you are looking for a motivational book on getting started this one is good for that. The author shares her journey and is straight forward about getting your stuff together and start!!
I received an advanced copy and this is my honest opinion.

If you want to start a business, this is the book for you! Lindsay takes your hand and walks you through each step of getting your business started, from building the basic foundation to how to decide what companies to partner with.

The best part for me were the step-by-step exercises she has you complete to really make sure the lessons sink in and are relevant to you and your unique ideas. Absolutely brilliant.

I've read a few "start your own business" books, and this one is the most-helpful from a practical standpoint. I'll definitely refer back to it when I begin my own venture later this year!

I'll be honest - I thought the cover was cute, so I requested it. I'm not familiar with the author; I assumed this would be a generalized women-in-business book. When I started the book and found out the author is part of an essential oils MLM, I nearly quit reading. But I soldiered on and found that this was actually a pretty good common-sense approach to business primer. It's easy to read and well-organized. Some of the language in the book drove me insane ("momtrepreneur" and constant mentions of "finding your tribe" - I can't), but the book WAS full of practical advice on goal-setting and positive thinking and actions. The author comes across as friendly and non-threatening and I can see tons of people LOVING this book. It was solid. #arc #netgalley

Are you a free-lancer or an entrepreneur? That’s just one of the questions LTM helps Boss Moms and wanna be boss moms figure out in Boss Up.

This book is perfect for those that want to have their own business but aren’t quite sure where they want to be or how to get there.

I could list so many quotes that have hit home and plan to when I get to a computer. For now, I’ll leave you with one.

“Other people’s opinions on what you should and should not do are likely based on what they want from you and not what is best for you”

Ladies, pre-order now and grab this book if you want to make your own dream work and figure out the difference in your purpose and tour passion.

The best kind of books for me are those that are down to earth and let you know that you are not alone. Lindsay makes it known first thing that she wrote this for mommas and wives, but you don't have to be either to gain the knowledge given in this book. I was honored to be on her launch team and to help get this book into other peoples hands. If you are looking for practical advice to help in your business and also want a funny. down to earth sometimes will make you cry book this is it and I recommend it fully!

I received an advance copy from the publisher.

OMG I was fortunate enough to receive an Advance Reader Copy from the publisher thru NetGalley and started this book a few night’s ago ... it does NOT disappoint! As a “momtrepenuer” for the last few years ... this book really answers so many of my “ should I or shouldn’t I” questions!! Lindsay has filled this book with tips, tricks & encouragement! I read the advance copy through cover to cover, and am now going through my actual hardcopy with a highlighter, pen and notebook to really work my way through the exercises. From the first page, I’ve been able to implement changes in my own business (and let’s be honest, in myself) that have already had a positive impact. In this disconnected world, where we are all seeking connection, this book is like having your BFF over for coffee! I’m confident that Lindsay and I would hit it off if we met in person ... she is the perfect storm of brilliant, funny & no-nonsense and she brings all that and MORE to this must-have book. If you’re a woman and ever even THOUGHT of working a business, organization, non-profit, etc. ... you need this book! (less)

This is a great book for moms with a side hustle or looking to start a business. Lindsay shares her honest opinion on how to get things done and let go of the mom guilt in the process. She’s funny and engaging, which is sometimes hard to accomplish with a business book! You’ll want to read it more than once. The first time to let her words wash over you and encourage you, and again while taking notes of how to take charge of your projects and businesses.

I received an advance reader copy, but this is my honest review! Snap this book up!

I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for my honest review. I really enjoyed this book. My husband and I are involved in a network marketing company that recently has gone through many changes. This book helped my husband and I decide to remain with the company even after these changes. We both truly live our products and believe in them. So while I continue to work my full time job as a teacher I will also continue to be my own boss and make my own decisions. Thank you Lindsay Teague Moreno for helping us to know without a doubt that we are in control our lives and the choices we make. I would recommend this to future, new, and current business owners.

I was fortunate enough to receive an advance copy of this book. I am so glad I read it! If you've ever wanted someone to help you figure out what you want to do with your life (businesswise... the other 390,465,751 decisions we have to make- you're on your own!), Lindsay will do so while cracking you up all along the way. There are questions and exercises designed to help you nail that down. If you're already on your way and very successful, there is still much wisdom here for you. This book is jam-packed with business advice that also is plain good LIFE advice! See photo for one of the many nuggets in this book. Don't be afraid to be yourself and don't apologize for it!

Boss Up! was just the book I needed to read. Lindsay Teague Moreno is real and authentic and shares from her heart. Within the pages of this book, you'll get loads of guidance and encouragement for finding the thing you’re meant to do, setting goals (both professional and personal), and making those goals a reality, as well as so much advice on being an entrepreneur. I found this book completely relatable and I know it’s going to be a business resource that I turn to again and again.

Boss Up! is the most entertaining self-help book I've read! Lindsay holds nothing back and I enjoyed how blatantly honest she is throughout the book. She offers great business advice that can just as well be applied to those looking to make a difference in their personal life as well.

This book was absolutely amazing!

I had the privilege of being on the launch team for this book and I am so grateful I was!

Lindsay writes real and practical advice that anyone can apply to their life. She is the most real and funny person that is writing books today!

I love that I never know what is going to come out of her mouth next!

I am already anxiously awaiting her next book!

Kudos to you Lindsay on yet another masterpiece!

Boss Up! by Lindsay Teague Moreno is not your mama's business book. I'm pretty sure my mama wouldn't have had a business book at all, and if she had, it wouldn't have been giving her tips on how to break out of the mold that so often seems to be set for women.

This book is a quick read, one that feels like chatting with a friend. It's not stuffy, and Ms. Moreno shares her own experiences in starting businesses and finding ways to build her brand successfully. I think I'm maybe not the target demographic, being as I'm a mom who works outside the home already. But I am looking for ways to build a side hustle into something more, and this book gave me a lot to think about in that regard.

If you've got an idea for a business, a dream that you can't shake from your mind, read Boss Up! Maybe it's time to take a chance on yourself and make that dream fly.

Disclaimer: I received a complimentary copy of the book from the publisher via NetGalley. All opinions here are mine, and I don't say nice things about books I don't like.

Thanks to the recommendation of a friend, I was able to be a part of the launch team for this book, and receive an advanced reader copy from the publisher through NetGalley. This review is based directly on my own personal opinion of my reading.

This all started when I reached out to a friend about obtaining an entrepreneurial / business mentor. She knows my passion for reading and growth and expressed to me that BOOKS can be mentors! Honestly, I had never really thought about it that way before. She also recommended this book to me. I joined the launch team so that I could begin reading the book right away.

I have to say that many times I find it hard to read business books from beginning to end. However, this book really kept me engaged, as it is not your typical rehash of tips that you run into many times. I love that Lindsay shares not just her victories, but her defeats. She presents her journey in a very real and relatable way, including her challenges and the lessons she learned. Then she takes it a step further by providing a practical outline that the reader can personally apply to their situation.

Through the pages of Boss Up!, Lindsay Teague Moreno has been able to “virtually” mentor me and provide valuable practical tools to establish a plan to begin to make effective progress with my business. Since my advanced copy was digital, I pre-ordered this book through Amazon so that I could have my “mentor” with me at all times, and fill it with my notes and thoughts as I move forward on my journey.

As a homeschooling mom of 3 kids under 7 that is running the house and a successful business, I struggle to find time to read for myself. If I’m going to set aside the time to read, it needs to be well worth it and no-nonsense. I’m a non-fiction reader because I like the value I can apply to my own life, that’s tangible and applicable to me - I can grow within it.

I’m a big fan of Lindsay Teague Moreno. She is incredibly wise and straight to the point. She serves up the no-nonsense gut punch you need with a healthy helping of laughter on the side. Watch out for the truth bombs, there’s some major ones waiting for you in this book that are about to break you free.

If you’re a dreamer, an entrepreneur, or someone who just wants more - preorder BOSS UP right now. I had the honor of reading an advanced reader copy to review it and it’s hands down one of my favorites.

The amazing part of this book is not only does it give actionable advice but it also contains exercises to help you get started and get moving! One of the most difficult parts of reading a business book is then translating and implementing it into your business. You’re walked through this process, making the book that much more valuable

I was looking forward to this book as I'm always looking to expand my business in more creative ways. While the tips were interesting, I only found a few I could actually put toward my business. I prefer working with worksheets and actual concrete advice versus "ideas". Overall, an "okay" non-fiction book.
