I had to wait a few days to even write this review because I was so emotional when I finished the novel. What a credit to author Jen Doyle for creating characters that I connected with so easily and so fully that they had an emotional impact on me. The story is well thought-out and flows easily. I am eagerly awaiting book three in the trilogy and will be recommending these books to all of my friends as soon as they are all available so they will not have to be left with a cliffhanger like I was.

This book commences where book 1 left off.

Lyndsey and Ian have been apart a long time. he loved his wife and had a family with her. But now that she is gone, he has a 2nd chance at love with Lyndsey. But yet again they are called in to help investigate when local youngsters disappear in a National Park in Canada.

Novel take on super soldiers and vampires! It's again a well-written story, like book 1. I loved Ian and Lyndsey as a couple but dammit a cliffhanger ending...I hate them!!!
