'The Loud House #6: Loug and Proud' by The Loud House Creative Team is a spinoff comic based on the hit Nickelodeon series.

Lincoln Proud has 10 sisters and is in a van full of siblings who are all off to do different things. One is going to a beauty pageant, one to a music festival, one to buy a hat for her ventriloquist dummy. Lincoln wants to meet up with his friends, but they keep moving around. Will he be the last one to get dropped off?

I've read a couple of these, and they are filled with short gags about each kid. This time around, I really liked the framing story. It helped the book feel like one big story, even though it was made up of shorter adventures. Even though the book has multiple artists, the art felt consistent across the board, which is pretty amazing.

I received a review copy of this graphic novel from Papercutz and NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. Thank you for allowing me to review this graphic novel.

The Loud House #6 is sure to lighten a bad day and give you a case of giggles. Lori Loud is on a mission to drop off all ten of her siblings for a fun day out. From a rock festival to the old folks' home, the Loud siblings can find drama wherever they go. These stories pull the focus away from Lincoln to give each sibling their own mini adventure that entertains and brings the laughs for a good fun read. The art runs fairly true to the show and is bright and colorful to up the entertainment value. This volume is another fun read in the Loud House series! My voluntary, unbiased review is based upon a review copy form Netgalley.

As the parent of a nine year old, I am well versed in the antics of Lincoln Loud and his ten sisters. I am fairly certain we’ve watched every episode, so when I saw this book, I thought it would be an excellent one for my somewhat reluctant reader and I to read together. We loved the silly stories and hilarious hijincks of the Loud family. It was simple to follow with great illustrations. It would be an excellent fit in an upper elementary school classroom library, and a good choice for reluctant readers.

This book was received as an ARC from Papercutz in exchange for an honest review. Opinions and thoughts expressed in this review are completely my own.

I have many young patrons who are fans of the Loud House show on Nickelodeon and just love the mischief they get themselves into everyday. The cartoon drawings are brilliantly done and they just look too adorable with all their adventures. This book got to know the whole Loud family and their interests and personalities which made it easier to connect with the story. There are so many real world references that a lot of young readers will appreciate this book!

We will consider adding this title to our JGRAPHIC collection at our library. That is why we give this book 5 stars.

Cheerful, Clever Fun

This may be a spin-off from a nickelodeon show, but that doesn't detract from the fact that this book is clever, high-energy, and good-humored, with just an occasional touch of kid friendly edge.

There are puns, smart jokes, interesting throwaway lines, authentic feeling banter, and stories that sometimes have a surprising twist. The setup in this issue is that the eldest Loud sister, Lori, is driving the family van to drop each of her siblings off at their planned Saturday activities. So, each dropoff introduces a story starring one of the Loud siblings. The tales are silly or frantic or pointed or just goofy, but there's a lot of variety and most definitely a lot of energy.

I can see why these books are valued by new readers. I'm an old reader and I like their colorful anarchy.

(Please note that I had a chance to read a free ecopy of this book without a review requirement, or any influence regarding review content should I choose to post a review. Apart from that I have no connection at all to either the author or the publisher of this book.)

As with other Loud House Graphic Novels, this book does not disappoint. It is colorful, engaging and funny. I love having the Loud House books in my classroom because they are perfect for reluctant readers. They have dynamic full color illustrations and short stories kids can relate to. This book is perfect for both Loud House and non-Loud House fans.
